Oxymorphone Hcl, Er, 40mg Tab

How long does it take to work, have 30 oxycodone for break thru pain! I used to take Opana 40Mg ER & seemed to work better, or faster! Broke back in service, then in 1975, again in 2002, with 12mmx8mm rupture @ L3-4 & fragment in nerve root @ L3-4, moderate severe spinal stenosis From C3 to L-5, crippled up but 77 Sept 11, 2017 & I don't want operations (to be gutted like fish been told by doctors!) & I have diabetes & heart problems too! Help, what is best for severe pain, 24-7 with terrible neoupathy down left leg, thigh to foot!

It really varies from person to person. A time released medication is slowly released over the dosage period, so it may not alleviate all of your pain immediately.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Why would spinal surgery require you to be gutted like a fish? What details did they give you about it? Are you on any other medications?
