Its mfg is Alvog round off white maybe a light yellow pill with a symbol on one side and 230 on the other side. Why are so many changing and am I in for more nausea from these ? Thanks ## Hello, Patricia! How are you? It's just a different manufacturer, since this is a generic. Whichever your pharmacy has in stock at any time can vary depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. However, all are approved by FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I got stuck with this ...
Supposed to be 5 mg oxycodone?? Can anyone tell me what it is- the E looks like a backward 3. ## Hello, Cat! How are you? I've been hunting for these for awhile, now, many have asked about them, but I wasn't finding anything…. however, they've just been added to the databases. YAY! They are listed as being manufactured by Epic Pharma and they list them as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
The prescription for oxycodone 20 mg said take one every 4 to 6 hours as needed for the total amount of tablets are 90 so when could it be filled again how many days supply would this be? ## To be safe every 25 days can be repeated ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Since it's to be taken on an as needed basis, then it is most likely meant to be a 30 day supply, but your pharmacy can let you know for sure. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I've been seeing Reumatology Doctor for years. I have severe Fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, an auto-immune disorder, herniated discs, (2). I have also had 2 left knee replacements since 48 years old. I am now 58. I am in severe pain a lot of the time. The doctor doesn't know where to go with me because I take 6 oxycodone (15) and 2 Morphine Sulfate long acting (30mg) a day. I'm moving to the Media Area and I need another Doctor as soon as I can. My phone number is {edited for privacy}. Please tell me who I can go to. The Doctor, Doctor Zuckerman of Bryn Mawr told me I need a pain management doctor.
UpdatedHi my name is Spike, I'm wondering if there is a way to pass the marijuana test at my pain clinic but still have The normal levels of oxycodone in me? They give me oxy for my spine, one pill for day, one for night, they have a "two pill limit" policy, but they don't last the length of time I need them to, I end up taking my night time pill in the late afternoon. I like to smoke marijuana to calm my spine(i had a laminectomy 4 months ago) and to help me sleep. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and Semper Fi.
UpdatedI found a white pill with 112 on one side and I I on the other,??¿? ## What is the shape of the pill? Knowing this may help identify. ## Hello, Tony! How are you? The Oxycodone tablet with 112 on it has no numbers on the opposite side, it is round, white and has the 112 over a score, while the other side is blank. The FDA classifies Oxycodone as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects possibly including nausea, constipation and dry mouth. Are you certain there are markings on the other side?

My Pain Mgt Dr. has been reducing my Percocet 10/325 mg pills down from 6/day to 3/day and my Kadian 20 mg pills down from 4/day to 3/day! I have been on this drug regimen for 7 yrs. due to a poor outcome from my last lumbar fusion surgery. I have heard that the DEA is requiring that all doctors must wean their patients down off of ALL opiate pain meds. Can you inform me of possibly any new developments in pain meds that would be accepted by the DEA??? Thanks so much. ## Hello, Doug! How are you? No, they don't have to take people off of all pain medications, however, they have been directed to limit how much is prescribed per day to any patient that does not have a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer. It's been requested that no one else be given more than the equiva...
ON 09/16/08 my doctor switched me to10MG of oxycodone IMM I was on 5 mg four times a day they were the instant release they were very good except I needed two more a day so instead of giving me more he switched me to these three times a day and they do not work I was wondering why if they are the same as the other ones these are a pink the other ones were white and they worked within 20 minutes of taking to in the morning I have taken five of these today and I am still in tremendous pain I was wondering if these are not dissolving in my system like the white ones did so my question is what is the difference between the instant release and these that says IMM REL ? I have UPMC health plan and they are terrible about prescribing appropriate medicine for my chronic back pain. I'm wondering if any other physicians in the area would be more accomadating? ## If you are genuinely in crippling, horrid chronic pain, as I have been for 25 years, one of two things. See Dr. John Moossy and have an intrathecal pain pump trial, as I did or move to California or Nevada.......where I hope God will let me make it.
I just got my result from a blood test today it was taken last month, I take oxy 30 and for breakthrough I also take oxy 10. Both I take 3 times per day. My blood test does not show that I am taking the med. This is a first time this has ever hàppened. I always take the meds I look forward to the relief. Thanks.PS can I also request them to check my hair I want to prove the truth. Looking forward to your responds thanks again. ## Tell them to do a urine if its not in your blood that stays in for 5 days
Yes I know it's 2016 and everyone is all under fire and very serious scrutinized just for being a pain patient. I can find neither my bottle of Oxycodone nor my bottle of my very small dose ADD med that does next to nothing for a disorganized, ever mind changing, brain numbing procrastination! I'm feeling very nervous and distraught and overwhelmed right now about all of this and I don't know what to do. Please do not bash me about those things I already know, because on top of all of those feelings, I'm feeling downright stupid and irresponsible for not paying attention. I was diagnosed with ADD (runs in the family) just over a year ago and like I mentioned my ADD med dosage is the lowest ineffective dosage available because for reasons unknown to me, my dummy of a Psyc...
I'm prescribed 10/325 oxycodone max 3 daily for breakthrough pain and 15 mg methadone 3 times a day. All's great but I'm not always taking the breakthrough meds. Will there be an issue when getting lab work? I never over take my meds, just sometimes take less oxycodone. ## Make sure to inform your doctor, before they do any lab work. That way they know what levels they should be looking at. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. i found in my brothers room small black pills. they are round and have no markings on them. what are they? they were in an oxycodone bottle, but i think they may be a different type of pill. i'm not sure if it really is oxycodone or if he took those from somewhere and put it in a pill bottle he already had because he has pill bottles all over the place! ## If there are no markings at all I would think that they are either a vitamin or a compounded medication. Either way you wont know for sure what it is. ## Just to add some clarification.... The found pills were most likely some type of over the counter product. The reason I say this is due to the fact that prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have imprints on them to enable their identification, in case of emergency. An...
I'm getting information online stating that it will, then info stating that it wont... Can someone just give me the right info... I don't see how oxycodone will come up on a 5 panel home drug test if its a opioid? Someone help. I get randomly drug tested soon and idk if I will fail or not.. My parents are drug testing me.
UpdatedMy pain mgt MD gives me oxycodone IR 30mg but I cut in two and see if pain goes below 5 of 10 after 1 hr after first dose of half tab, if not I then take the other half. So far since my leg reconstruction surgery 7 weeks ago I have needed the full 30mg every time. Here is my question: Will I get a longer time of pain relief and thus a longer time period of my sense of well being when pain is gone by (1) taking the 30mg at single dose q 4 hrs or by (2)taking 15mg q 2 hrs, of course not taking the 2nd 15mg dose if pain<5? It seems to be cumulative but not in any consistent way that I can get a pattern tracked for optimal benefit? I was an RN for many years prior to CVA a few years ago, so am familiar with some of this but of course individual results vary. Thanks ## If your doctor app...
What color is oxycodone 30 on one side, and M on the other side ## This tablet is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, they list it as being round, blue and having an M in a box on one side, with the number 30 on the other. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have a new doctor my old doctor left and his partner took over.i have been taking Oxycodone for over 25 years for CRONIC cluster headaches. I was taking 12-13 a day with no brake through.he dropped me down the first new visit to 6 a day or 180 a month, he did a saline test and I have been taking them only when I needed them because I think he's going to dump on me and now days doctors don't give out pain meds so I'm trying to stock up. So my Question is since he did the saliva test I took 90 mg will it show I only have 90 in my system? ## I would tell him that with the drastic cut in the pills it was very hard for you to take them as prescribe. you just did not know what else to do but the pain was unbearable. and you certainly didn't want to do the wrong thing. Then I...
I filled my Rx at a different pharmacy to save time and received this version of Percocet a333. It's terrible! The regular ones I receive (by a completely different manufacturer than this or Watson) work pretty well. My issue is just worsening so They just aren't effective. Then when I opened this bottle, noticed the texture was different. It was early morning and dark so I took my normal 1/2 so I can go back to sleep. Felt no relief like I normally feel enough to sleep comfortably. Had to double check to make sure I didn't put Tylenol in one of the bottles for travel. Took the other half. Feels as weak as Tylenol in regards to my level of relief (almost none). Took my next full dose at when enough time had passed. Still, very little relief. This isn't the first time this w
UpdatedWhich one works better 5 325 or the K 18 I have chronic back pain for more than 8years & it's getting worse I have herniated discs, scoliosis, sciatica problems I suffer from fibromyalgia, I get pain all over my body they've done everything but all I can see is, me on a wheel chair in the future I just turned 50 but I feel young which one do u recommend ## Hello, Millie! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in so much pain! It really depends on which one works best for you. The tablet with the K 18 marking only contains 5mgs of Oxycodone, while the other couples it with Acetaminophen, which can sometimes augment the action of the opiate in some people. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause ...
