Just wondering what it might be. with ## Hello, Bananas! How are you? Is the marking possibly A333? Can you please double check and post back? Thanks! If it is A333, the tablet is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
I went to my Dr. and got my refills of oxycodone and my diazepam and recently let my 25 yr old son move back in. It's not allowed to be filled till October 31st. Called Police who said they couldn't do anything. My Dr. couldn't write anyone, SO what do I do? ## Chris, I realize you posted this back on October 22nd and I'm really sorry to hear about what happened, but it sounds like the situation between you and your son should probably be dealt with on a more personal level, considering that he's your roommate. Don't let the tension build up without disclosing your feelings to him, at least for the sake of adding some closure to what took place. If there was any risk of undergoing serious withdrawal symptoms (god forbid), it seems to me that the emergency room wo...
I have worked in Hospital Pharmacy for over 15 years, and have NEVER SEEN a 5/325 tablet this small. Makes me wonder..... ## Hello, Matthew! How are you? The size doesn't mean anything, that just depends on the active ingredients and whatever inactive ones the manufacturer chooses to use. However, I can tell you that there is no Oxycodone/Acetaminophen tablet listed in the NIH databases that has only GP on it. Are there any additional letters or numbers on it? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## Found out the nursing home my mom is at was giving the WRONG DRUG.! Not too pleased! Matt Dodson, DD, PhD
My friend is worried that she was given the wrong medication. She usually gets the green 15 mg oxycodone but this time its green with the only marking on it is a v, 7 or l.,she is older and can't tell exactly but has no numbers on them. It didn't sound right to me but told her I would check. Thank you for your time and valuable information!! ## Hello, Lilly! How are you? I couldn't find any dark green Oxycodone in the NIH database, nor any listed by the FDA. However, colors are a matter of perception and relativity. Is there any chance you could go look at the pills to double check the color and markings, then post back, or perhaps someone else do so? She could also have them double checked by her pharmacist. The FDA warns that Oxycodone is a narcotic analgesic, so it carrie...
My mom had knee replacement surgery five days ago and is now home and managing her own medication. Her prescription directs her to take 2 percocet every 4-6 hours. She finds that taking two at a time makes her sick to her stomach. But she can't quite make it a full four hours if she takes just one. Is it safe for her to take one pill every 2-3 hours instead of the 2 pills every four hours? ## That should be fine, unless her doctor says otherwise, it really amounts to almost the same dosing, just staggering them. The area of concern would be if she was taking more than prescribed during any given time period. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Another i...
I took 10mg percocet on thursday at 7pm..had a random test monday at 9 in the morning..I'm 6'3 220..I don't drink sodas..drink several glasses of water a day..the total time from consuming the pill until urinating in the cup was 86 hours..its the only one I've had in about 5 weeks..think I'm ok?? ## Sorry it will show in your blood and urine... traces stay for up to 30 days depending on the mg you take ## NO, It doesn't stay in your system for 30 days! It depends on your body type. But usually it is in your urine for 70 hours give or take a few. Any Oxys!! ## I have a drug urine screen on Monday. I took two percocet 15 mg on Friday. I am having knee surgery Thursday and was in alot of pain. Will I pass the urine test on Monday. ## I'm thinkng of askng Dr abou...
I have a pill that says RP on the back and 10 325 on the front. It is round and white. ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
what pharmacies will fill my georgia script in Indina. its for 160 oxycodone 30mg tablets. ## I'm sorry, but there is no way for us to know this information. It can vary, depending on the pharmacy's policies, how much they have in stock and etc. Since this is a controlled substance, some pharmacies won't even fill it if someone lives outside of the county they are located in. Have you tried visiting pharmacies to ask? ## i had to go to ga to a pain doctor and he wrote me loratab and oxycodone and i can not get them filled just because i have a ky id. ## As long as your script is typed out and not hand written, any pharmacy should fill it. ## How about getting them filled in GA? Neither are refillable. They both are Schedule II opiates — and why HYDRO (Lortab)- and OXYC...
There are a lot of people saying how taking Oxycodone is a great high--a feeling of euphoria. All it does for me is makes me sleepy and a bit drugged, and I hate that feeling. Is that the feeling they are getting that they say feels so good? ## This is the same person that posted the question about Oxycodone making me sleepy if I take it, and what kind of effect people get out of it that they say is euphoric. I inadvertently forgot to put my email address, so I could get responses. I know it is against rules to post something twice, but I hope that I can be granted an exception in this case. I'd really appreciate replies. I started doing it at my regular dosage--insufflating the Oxycodone I mean, because taking it orally with water, at 30 mgs still doesn't relieve the pain of my...
Does anyone know of a new (or new to me) Oxycodone 30 mg with a coating? The coating is just like what's on Oxycontin. The only ones I've been prescribed so far are the blue M's. Look identical but have the coating. They really don't taste like any type of oxy. They are very strong. I can feel it all the way down my arms to the tips of my fingers! I wasn't really looking for these effects - just need pain relief for my hip and back. Anyway I am having trouble finding info on the Internet about these "new" 30s. I just need to know that they are in fact oxy and are safe? They're so strong that it worries me a little. Any comments are much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!?? ## Hello, Charlotte! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. What ar...
My last 2 months of taking Alvogen 10/325 are turning faint yellow and look like they have been in water as the shape and medicine doesn't seem to be that effective. Can you tell me why the pill is changing its color and not effective as of 3 months ago? I may have been taking the Watson brand or some other brand. ## Hi Judy, Are you meaning to say that the new prescription is yellow when you get them filled or that the pills gradually turn yellow [perhaps through oxidation or other unknown causes] while you have them in your possession? If the latter, I think that is really strange and this is probably the first time I've heard of something like that happening to any pharmaceutical. If I were you I'd consider contacting the pharmacy who filled your prescription and ask them...
I'm prescribed to take 6, 30mg Oxycodone a day and I normally just take one. I have a Dr. appt. in 8 days for them to check my levels by blood tests. How far in advance do I need to begin taking all 6 for my levels to check out correctly? ## Dr. gave me order for oxycodone level blood test. He knows i run out about 4 days begore appt.I took 2 15 mg about 3 pm day before. 2 15 mg at 6 am took test at 8 am. Will my level be okay? ## hey how are u how did ur apt turn out? i take a lot of them so if u ever need me i can always get urine for u...... i don't know where u r from but if u wanna talk u can let me know i would rather talk on the phone instead of this ok hun
Trying to find an over the counter pill that looks like a pink oxycodone. I suspect that my roommate might be taking some of my prescription so I am hoping to use an OTC medication as a diversion which would not cause them harm. ## Well, what are the specific markings on your prescription pills? The thing is that you probably won't find any over the counter products to match the look of your rx since they are required to carry unique inscriptions per the FDA. With that said, and I'm not advocating this behavior, your best option might be to press fake sugar pills which will basically do nothing for them but look like your original prescription. But of course this is not nearly as good of an option as confronting them, or even filing a police report if it becomes too out of hand....
I tried to be cute & see of I could stop taking my meds & gauge my pain levels without it for a week. Then I remembered I probably would be having a drug test this month at pain management. If I begin taking the oxycodone 4 days before my test, as prescribed, will my levels be as accurate as they would have if I had taken it every day for 5 months?
UpdatedMost of these people are just whinners. I've been taking oxys for 15 years or more. Recently the pharmacy i used switched to this brand. There isnt a difference - if blindfolded u coudnt tell the difference. Only beef would be not being able to cut it in half. Again these work as well as thee others. People just like to complain. I have pain from my neck to my toes. If they were not working i would surely complain about it. So quit crying, it's in your head! ## Hello, BruceG! How are you? While I am glad that this medication is working so well for you, what you have stated is not correct. Since there can be fluctuations from one generic to another, which is permitted under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, not all medications from every manufacturer work for everyone that tries them...
Blue V 48\12some are smaller and darker are they placebos? ## Hello, Ria! How are you? Quite a few people have posted about these recently and I must admit that I don't have any information on them. There have been no changes reported in the prescription drug databases, so far. That means there's a chance that these may be fake. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Where were they obtained? ## I bought what I thought was a 30mg Oxycodone with the V on one side and other side has the 48 score 12 on it and the pill was a very thick pill, it tasted sweet and a little bit of soapy tasting but more of the sweet taste so it had to be a (PLACEBO) an I thou...
what color do these pills look like? ## There is no 60mg of the instant release Oxycodone, it is only available in 5mgs. There is a time released tablet in 60mgs, called Oxycontin, which would have the marking OC or OP on one side and a 60 on the opposite side. The tablets should be red. This is a potent narcotic, so it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## there is oxycontin 30mg instant release but that is as high as instant release goes. ## oxycodone does not just come in 5mgs. They also come in 10s 15s, 20s, and 30s. I know cause I've had all of them within the last year. I suffer from chronic pancreatitis. Oxycodone does not come in 60mgs. There is a oxycotin extended release 60mg tablet. It is ...
Pill that is red and has an X that goes from end-to-end on one side and blank on the other - Does anyone have any idea what it might be? Oxycodone maybe? ## All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required by law to have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Therefore, since this one only has that score line, we can rule it out as being any type of prescription product, which means that it is most likely something that's available over the counter. That leaves it open to many possibilities. I haven't found anything that matches this description, yet…but I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## Hello i have the same pill . but it came in a perc. Pouch. Punch out . but do...
Taking 5/325 hydrocodone & ancetamin for fractures in leg & arm. Even though this is small dose I am experiencing itchy face & some shallow breaths or longer time between breaths. I notice this at night . Only been on med for a week but read that these side affects are dangerous. Now afraid to continue pain control with these pills. I was wondering if this is because I take zoloft at nite with the pain med? The pain can get severe so dont know what to take anymore. ## Hello, Mickact! How are you doing? Has there been any change? I think it would be best to consult your doctor, because yes, those could be danger signs, and you might need to switch to a different medication. The FDA lists the typical opiate side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mo...
My pain management doctor just cut me off of oxy because I neglected to tell him my dentist prescribed pain meds after he removed 3 dental implants and pulled 3 teeth. I am in the process of having the remainder of top teeth pulled for full dentures. I had a total left hip replacement in December and continue to have pain in my back and hips. My right hip is now starting to show the same symptoms as my left before it was replaced. I'm not abusing the drug; I take as prescribed. However, because I didn't inform my doc of dental issues AND because I had the script filled at a pharmacy closer to my home (after dental surgery), he thinks I am trying to run a scam. Can anyone help me?
