The doc says my UA is "inconsistent" bc I'm not showing positive for Versed. I see him in 2 days to discuss this, meanwhile my meds are gone and I'm very concerned. My question is, why would I test negative? The UA is taken within 30 min of IV administration of Versed after epi injections. ANY info you can provide is welcome. I'm very disappointed in my Dr as I truly thought he cared and to leave me in withdrawal and even 4 days out until he has me scheduled to talk about "inconsistency" is a heart breaker. ## Thanks for your reply! I already posted a detailed message and you didn't bother. Really appreciate it!!
I have been on oxycodone 30 mg 4 times a day for about 10 years or more. Recently my pain management doctor did a urine drug screen. I take the prescribed dose faithfully, but the day I got my urine screen done was a day that I only had a half left which is 15 mg. I took it approximately an hour or so before my appointment to get my new script. The doctor dropped me as a patient because he said my urine drug screen was only "faintly positive" for the drug he said. I took all 4 of my prescribed 30 mg all the days before that though. I just don"t understand how this happened! I need a doctor and my meds for my back! I drink Red Bulls and I took Motrin for a couple days and I also took Amoxicillin for an abcessed tooth a few days before my test. Can any of these factors alter m...
I take the perc 10 and opana 10ER..along with steroid injections every few months and I am not getting the relief I hoped for. My pain doc has been great so far and has adjusted my meds several times. I want to ask for stronger meds.. I work 10 hr days and I'm starting to struggle more and more. I want to ask for higher dosages, but I don't want him to get a bad impression of me. What is the best way to ask this?... Thanks ## Actually, the best way to go about it would be to bring up the subject of your pain levels, how you're getting less relief than you expected and let him suggest any changes to your medications. If he doesn't follow your train of thought, then it may be necessary to ask, but if he's a pain specialist he should be thinking on the right track. Whil...
I have a white 30mg oxycodone pill with an imprint of rp 30. Are they just as effective as the other smaller oxycodone thirties that I am used to getting? ## Have you tried taking it, yet? The only way to find out if it will help alleviate your pain is by trying it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
I have been on two 60mg Ms contin, with 15 mg morphine ir 4x a day. It's not working as well since my surgery. Now I have changed to two 60mg Ms contin with 10 mg oxycodone 3x a day. Will this combination work better and last longer? ## Have you tried taking the new combination, yet? The only way to discover if it will work better for you is by actually trying it. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
Following Rotary Cuff surgery, my husband was given Oxycodone 5-325. Some of the things he experienced were nausea, vomiting and heartburn, in addition to extreme constipation. After drinking massive amounts of water, suffering, discomfort, etc., it took a Linzess capsule, and two large doses of Milk of Magnesia before he finally was able empty his bowels the next morning following extreme discomfort. I was prepared to have to go back to the hospital, but THANK THE LORD, he finally got relief. The on call person allowed us to change to Hydrocodone 7-325; he had taken a few of those until the cortisone shot took effect while being scheduled for surgery. He did not experience a problem with the Hydrocodone, even though I’m sure it can be bad as well. He has not had a pain pill of an...
Due to present eligibility to medicare, finding a drug plan to cover oxycontin is a real problem. The amount does not appear to be the problem but the brand\type is. Any idea what I could switch to ? Currently take four 60mg per day along with oxy IR 20mg for those sudden pain spikes. ## There is no generic for Oxycontin, which could be why they don't want to cover it. However, there are other options that are available as generics, such as MS Contin, Opana ER, Zohydro, and Fentanyl. The FDA warns that all of these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Those are just a couple of the options you could ask your doctor about trying. Does anyone else have any suggestions to add?
I have been taking Percocet in different doses shapes & sizes for the past 15 years. With APP & without... I find absolutely have find very very very little difference (I say three times) between the different generic on the market & I find it bizarre that these people say they find drastic differences between them. I see a Less then 5% difference between manufactures.... Living in south Florida,Surviving thru the Pill Mill fiasco & swept clear thru the other side. The Tamper resistant Oxy-Contin & the unavailability of 15 & 30 mg IR has changed the market here in Florida. God luck to my brothers & sister here in the sunshine state.. ## I agree 100%. all are very similar ## The only Oxy IR brand that I find to have no relief, and actually puts me into withdra...
In Aug. of 2016, I fell and broke my arm. I took Oxycodone for pain for about 3 months. It was the best sleep I'd had in 13 years (since my son passed away). Then my doc took it away. On Feb. 13, 2017, I had a trigger finger repaired and he gave me Oxycodone again. This time, I have a headache and trouble sleeping. Why is this? Oh and I only take it at night. If I take it more than that, I get very sick and sweaty. Thank you. ## Those can be normal side effects of this medication, so your body may have changed with age, causing you to experience them, now, though you didn't before. The FDA also warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and you may also experience dry mouth, and constipation. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
what are the fillers in oxycodone 30 mg by Mayne? Are any made without the fillers? Thank you for your time. ## Hi Shyly, According to Mayne's product catalogue, the Oxycodone 30mg tablets contain the following set of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers): microcrystalline cellulose lactose monohydrate corn starch silicon dioxide stearic acid sodium starch glycolate type a potato You can also click on the following National Drug Code link for verification: 68308-112 I hope this helps!
Are Oxycodone Oxycontin or Roxy Light Blue coating with white inside?? I found half an old pill of mine..Soo Idk if any print on 1 side & other side can barely see part of what looks like may be M?? I Have had in past Roxy 15 & 30. Also had Morphine 15mg?? Thanx Much ## I think without knowing the actual imprint, the pill could literally be anything from A to Z. However there is in fact a light blue oxycodone hydrochloride 30 mg pill with an [M] inside a box on one side and the number 30 on the back (sitting above a horizontal score line). This particular tablet is made by Mallinckrodt and carries a National Drug Code of 00406-8530. If you click on the NDC link here you'll be able to see an image of the pill in question. Hopefully this will help you determine how closely its...
My Son, who has Cancer, has been taking Oxycodone, 30mg for a little over a year, he says when he is out of his meds, he feels washed out, no energy, he hurts in his legs and body, and so tired. His Dr. cut his Prescription from 120 a month to 60 a month. Does this sound like he's addicted? I think so. Thank you all. ## Actually, from what you've described, that would be considered dependence, not addiction. Dependence can happen with any medication that someone takes for a long period of time, whether it be a narcotic or a blood pressure medication. It just means that their body has gotten used to having that substance added, so it reacts if that substance is suddenly removed, because it basically forgets how to work without it and it takes awhile for it to readjust. Addiction,...
I'm just trying to get some information on test levels because I'm in a custody suit or if there is any way to dispute it ## 300 is the general cutoff level I believe, so not really that high. Was it urine, hair or blood? ng/ml or pg/ml? ## Hello I have gone threw a custody battle as well and been tested for 2 years people don't understand the cutoff level # determines if your positive if you test above them numbers ## She definitely uses but it is not that high. 500 would be an every day user or above. ## Dispute what? You can ask for a non mro test. It will not allow for prescription drugs to be passed. Will show up positive for everything. ## My ex was prescribed (50) 10mg hydrocodone in October 2016. And he is possible drug addiction. For custody purpose hair test was re...
I have been on 5mg oxycodone for about 4 years. My doc switched me to the 10mg oxycodone tablet. I took one 10mg tab and NOTHING. It was as if I swallowed air. 4 hours later I took another one 10mg tab...Again NOTHING. I don't understand this. When I was on 5mg, I took 2 of them and it worked. I live in Indiana and the laws here are the 2nd most strict laws in the country. So he did this so he could give me the same amount. My medical history is this: I have severe fibromyalgia, RA, severe restless arm/leg syndrome, sjogrens syndrome, interstitial cystitis, sarcoidosis (it's been in remission for about 10 years but had done damage to my lungs, submandibular glands, and lymph nodes), meralgia paresthesia on my right thigh, occipitial neuralgia, hasimotto's syndrome, sciatica,...
I bounce between two Wal-Mart pharmacy's (a few miles apart). My regular Wal-Mart pharmacy has not had my prescription of OxyCODONE more than three times in the past 36 mounts (3 years) It seems to be very lazy pharmacy employees. These two of three (all three) Wal-Marts in my city, dispense different medications for the same prescription. I cannot get a straight answer from any of their employees why they dispense different medications from the same pharmacy group. I believe the KVK activate quickly but do not last as long as the RHO. The RHO seem to work a little longer but not as strong. Beside constipation, side effects are small. But I am running into problems as the medications are not working for a long. The pain relief is not as powerful as 6 months ago. My doctor, a very go...
I ahve been going to a family orientated pharmacy for my oxycodone 20mg they have the prescription always for me but I have used other pharmacists and it seems that the others have better quality meds are better than the one I go too is it because of different manufacturers and why is that?? ## Yes, it could be, there can be differences between generic medications as allowed under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984. They are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20%, but they do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand, so it is conceivable that the one you've received is slightly lower in the amount of Oxycodone than the prior one you were taking. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may caus...
I am new to the greensboro, nc area and am looking for a primary doctor that will write my prescriptions for oxycodone 10 mg and tremadol 50mg. I have bulging discs, arthritis, and degenerative discs with MRI showing this. Please help me. I'm trying to avoid going to a pain clinic but will if I have to. Thanks!
UpdatedI have been taking oxy codone tab act the last ones were oxy codone tab rho and the last ones I got was made by Rhode the side affects are awful and I am having to go a Dr. today I have bee very ill since i started taking them I want to know what the filler is. ## Hello, Meme! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you're experiencing. I'm sorry, but I need more information in order to check the inactive ingredients for you. What are the markings on the tablet and what's the dosage that you're taking? Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I have taken the...
I have been on prescribed Oxycodone for 5 yrs now for back surgeries with nerve damage. My dosages have never risen over the years. I take Nucynta ER and use the Oxy for break-thru pain. My question is, I will be taking pre employment drug screening tests and want to know if there is a time frame that Oxy usually goes undetected in a urine test? ## No if you have been taking anything for 5 years it's going to show. Unless you stop then 4 to 7 days , it won't be in your urine , but I wouldn't wont to be you for the first 14 days after stopping ## If you have a prescription and show to testing facility they should say test result ok to potential employer ! That what i do and never failed a preemployment test
Are there oxycodone 15/325? I was shot and the 5/325 or 10mg oxycodone doesn't work. Any suggestions? ## No, the maximum dose available is 10/325mg. Oxycodone itself, without the accompanying Acetaminophen/Tylenol is available in higher doses, though. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Actually i take oxycodone and they are straight 15.
