Is this a 30mg instant release pill? It's a round light blue pill with 224 on one side and a score on the other. ## No, this tablet is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals and they list as containing 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Hi, My wife had surgery and Dr gave Prescription for 5mg of oxycodone pills for bouts of pain in recovery .All the pills are small white round with A04, however It caught my eye that out of them I saw one that has the A04 imprint just like others but letters/numbers seem to be filled lightly in black and all the rest are identical with no black liner in the A04, but this ONE particular pill on the A04 imprint the letters and number are filled in black on the imprint. I thought this to be strange since all the others are not in black. Is this normal? Manufacturing glitch possibly? Not sure and don't want to take any chances in her taking this one particular pill, Should probably call pharmacy when its open just to make sure but thought I may find info online and found this Q & A ...

I am currently in rehab recovering from back surgery. I had three herniated disk in my back. My surgeon preformed Anterior Cervical Interbody Fusion surgery. I have been on 2 mg of Oxycodone every four hours around the clock for two months. I am a former heron user and have been clean for 7 years. I tried delaying taking my meds but after 5 to 6 hours, my withdrawal becomes too much. I cannot get the doctors here to understand how drugs effect me as an ex addict. This will not for be nor will I take that chance with my life. It has been great for the past 7 years after 20 years of being addicted. I got k,9 it's a darker blue than whawhat I've seen before are these real or fake ## @the crazy one, I believe the only honest way to know for certain that what you have is real (outside of getting it analyzed by a lab) would depend upon whether you got it filled at a real licensed pharmacy and not by some other means. Legitimate pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, although sometimes manufacturers have been known to alter the color of their pills without giving any prior notice to patients. So that's something to keep in mind as well. Found my old script from when I had my surgery. The pills I found have rp on one side and 10 325 on the other side. I have a question I missed my Dr's appointment and made another one unfortunently I am going to be out of my med (oxycodone) So she wrote out a script for 5 days. When I go back to get the rest of the month worth will my insurance cover it? I have mass health. i am on oxycodone 30 mg but have a hard time finding them also if it says take 6 a day and i get 120 thats only for 20 days right? ## @stacy, 120 tablets divided by 6 a day, does come out to a 20 day supply. If you feel that you're having a hard time finding a pharmacy to fill your script, I would recommend searching ahead of time; like at least a week or more before you think you're going to run out. However, if it's becoming too much of a hassle, you may have to talk to your doctor about changing scripts to something more readily available. I hope this helps! ## Try CVS . My PM doctor test my urine regularly to ensure I'm taking my oxycodone as prescribed. On two occasions the test was positive for both oxycodone and morphine. I have never taken morphine, so other than a compromised test, how could I possibly be positive for morphine? ## Tell him to send in for confirmation because if u are taking more than prescribed the oxymorphone it metabolizes into may test pos. ## Thanks. I work in Toluca a lot. My script for oxycodone from the states runs out and I have to have a written script and only for US pharmacies. So I have to wait to get back before I can get it filled. I know an anesthesiologist here that wrote me a script for both plexicodim and rolod. I have no idea where to get it filled. No one around here seems to have it. Pisa farmaceutica in Mexico manufactures it but I can't find a damn farmacia that has it. I'll have to cut this trip short if I can't find one around here. im sorry i had wrong dose its 10-325 oxycodone-acetaminophen and morphine sulfate ir 30 mg ## Oxycodone is one and a half times stronger than Morphine, so if you were taking the 30mgs of Morphine and wanted to switch to Oxycodone, you'd only need 15mgs of the Oxycodone. And, in this case, since you're asking about a generic for Percocet, the Acetaminophen needs to be taken under consideration, because that actually potentiates the action of the Oxycodone, making it stronger, so you may be looking at a different of an additional 2mgs efficacy strength, give or take.
