I would like to chime in here. If all possible do not take oxycontin er. I have been on them for 7 years now. I was taking Norco for a muscle disease I got for chemicals when I was in the army. I had a heart attack later on and my doctor at the time said I had to take these OXY. That it was safer if I knew what I know know I would have punched him in the mouth. I was on 140 mg er. I am now chemically dependant on them. It's miserable up and down wake up in the morning in full blown withdrawals. I have been self tapering myself off of them. This is a very very miserable. I am now down to 10 mg 3 times a day. Getting ready to go to ir's. I dropped 10mg ever couple of weeks to get here. I will never take another opiate when I can get off. You shouldn't really be able to do that with any tablet, but it sounds like some people will go the extra mile to give a false appearance. I currently take 20mg methadone twice a day with MSIR 30mg tabs 4 daily=120 total. I am trying to find which dose of oxycodone would be the equivalant of my current dose of Morphine IR. Its been VERY hard filling that script for approx 6 months now and is getting worse. So one option is switching to another medication. Some of the problem is that medicine isnt used as much as it once was. My monthly appt w/ nuerologist is in 2 weeks...so please answer this ASAP Also if any brand names are know thats fine...my insurance will prob substitute generic but brand names help when talking to doctors. I take a timed released med and have one for breakthrough pain. I have a lot of problems upper and lower back, herniated discs, pinched and damaged nerves (sciatic nerve) very bad, running down my left leg from my lower back on left side. I have scoliosis , arthritis and stenosis in my spine. I have had an unsuccessful surgery on the back on just one problem. The doctor did not shave enough off the vertebrae to relieve the pressure. I also have fibromyalgia. Having surgery made my back worse and now I have nerves tingling and bothering me that didn't before. I had a dirt bike accident and broke my pelvis. It is a permanent break. Can not be fixed. Had surgery to bore 2 inches of bone out of my bladder. I take 15 mg . oxycodone 2 twice a day. I now have scoliosis because of this break. I have actually shrunk 1inch because of scoliosis. I cant find my 15s anywhere in Braxenton. Is it a 5 mg oxycodone pill, used for pain? I've taken oxycodone for 3 years until my pain management doctor bumped me up to 10mg oxycodone. Thanks for posting any information you might have. ## A round white tablet with the marking of M77 is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Amitriptyline, which is an antidepressant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and headache. There is no Oxycodone with this marking. Are you sure that's what you were prescribed?

My Pharmacy wants to charge me $30, but I cannot afford $30 for my prescription so I was trying to talk the pharmacy down to like $10 for 10 pills. I have been taking oxycodone acetaminophen 10/325 for some time; now my pharmacy has changed to oxycodone hydrochloride. It bothers my stomach and doesn't seem to work as well. What is the difference between the two? ## The second one you've listed just lacks the Acetaminophen, going by what you've said in your post. What is the dose of it? The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The Acetaminophen does help it work better, for some people.

I am allergic to acetametephin and break out in watery sores that itch and burn. I was perscribed an oxycodone 5mg after dental surgury and after about 3 days I broke out in the sores again. Does Oxycodone 5mg have any additive that would act like acetametephin. I can take no pain meds with tylenol or ibuprophen so is there any opioid out there that I can take that wont break me out in these sores? ## What are the markings on the tablets in question? Hello, I have been taking one Oxycodone 10/325 three times a day along with 15mg of Morphine 3 times a day for a year now. I am now in need of something stronger for my chronic back pain. I can take Oxycodone 10 with no problem~but every I take a half or a quarter of a Oxycontin 30 I throw up exactly 4 to 5 hrs after I eat~it is projectile vomiting and then as soon as all food is up its over~it is like bile very sour~is there a reason for this~i used to take 12 hydro's a day~ no prob~but this blue pill is a sedation feeling and makes sleepy and I throw up all 4 hrs after I eat~can take a half 12 hrs b4 I eat~im fine~but as soon as I eat I throw up 4 hrs later? Has anybody heard of M 30 oxycodone being reformulated? My mother has been on oxycodone for quite a while now and recently had an rx filled and had a few M's that almost instantly swell up and turn into mush when she takes them. I was in a horrible accident. My Dr. Put me on Dillaudid 4 mg. After a half month I cut myself down to Dilaudid 2 mg. When that was gone, my Dr. Put me on Oxycodone 10, to keep down withdrawals. I've been on these for approx. 2 weeks. Is it safe to now cut my dose down, and how should I go about it? I was in an auto wreck and nothing else has worked, not the chiro, inj's., diclofenac, nothing. Methadone for pain kind of worked, but not like oxy. My doctor before moved, and now I have one who wants me to have painful inj's. which I am not really wanting when a pill is simple and I can stop and find out how I am doing any time. Most legitimate patients have recently been getting viewed as addicts or junkies, just because of the type of medication they were prescribed. Doctor's should be more sensitive to the nature of what's going on here, so they don't hand out scripts that can't be fulfilled.
