Which oxycodone is the strongest, that relieves the pain. I was just prescribed the U 17? ## I BEEN TAKING OXYCODONES 10/325 4 TIMES A DAY AND THERES TIMES I HAVE TO TAKE TWO. PLUS I TAKE 15 MGS MORPHINE ONE EVERY 6 HRS IT JUST DOES'NT WORK THAT WELL AFTER TAKING THEM FOR 2 YRS ## The U17 have been prescribed to me on and off for about a year. I've had a generic Percocet prescription for several years. The U17 seem to have no active ingredient in them. I go through withdrawal-like symptoms (chills, tiredness, nausea, vomiting) for about 3-5 days when this is all that my pharmacy has to give me. The difference between this pill and others is rather scary for patients that have valid reasons for the prescription. A sugar pill may be more effective. The FDA needs to look in to the ...

My pain clinic uses an icup test. I'm pretty sure it is a 12 or 13 panel test. Does oxycodone and oxycontin show up as an opiate and under oxy? ## Yes that's what they are. Hydro is a opiate also but it shows up as morphine for some weird reason. ## Yes, just as Thomas said, Oxycodone is an opiate narcotic and can be detected as such. The NIH warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How did your test turn out? ## Can oxycodone show up on a drug screen for opiates? Or does oxy have its own spot on a screen?

Hello. I was just given a refill of 5-325 Oxycodone/Acetaminophen (Percocet). These pills are much smaller than the large white pills I normally take (8 yrs). These new pills have RP on one side. So far I have taken 2 and they don't feel as strong as what I'm used to. Can anyone comment if in fact this is a good generic or should I avoid getting them in the future? ## Hi Tom, I can't say for sure whether or not their quality/potency is comparable to other manufacturers, but if they aren't as strong as what you're used to taking, one theory I had is that the manufacturer (Rhodes Pharmaceuticals) may be using a different set of binders and fillers (inert ingredients) than their counterparts from other manufacturers. According to numerous patient reviews I'm seeing ...

I've been driving around this god forsaken state for days trying to fill a legit prescription. 15 mg Oxy. About to start withdrawal soon because of this state "cracking down" Pharmacies are not allowed to order it and as soon as it's in it is gone in hours because everyone who needs it is desperately searching. I have cancer and also have 6 herniated discs and been on this for a year. 8 per day I have one pill left and I seriously can't live or function w/out this at the moment. I hate this state. Withdrawal is terrifying not to mention the physical pain is unbearable. Anyone have any advice? I've been to 8 pharmacies in two days... Back order, no idea when it will be in. Not allowed to order it for me. If I drive to another state do you think I will be able to f...

I live in southern New Jersey. I am currently prescribed roxicoden 30 mg, every 4 hrs. My family doctor has been prescribing them for me for the last 4 years. Due to new laws, she can no longer prescribe them. I'm having a hard time finding someone who will take my insurance. I have NJFamily Care. ## Hello, Jammie! How are you? I'm sorry, but due to the new regulations, no PCP will be able to prescribe that for you. You'll need to see a pain management specialist. Is there a chance your current doctor may be able to refer you to someone? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? ## Jamee did you ever fin...

Alvogen 10/325 any one else feel it is not controlling their pain as well as other brands. Thanks for your input. ## Hi Annie, I have not tried the Alvogen brand specifically, but according to other related threads on here, Endo Pharmaceuticals is touted as having one of the best working Percocet tablets by comparison. My theory is that one or more of the binders/fillers that Alvogen tabs are composed of aren't able to sufficiently metabolize in our body, thus leaving part of the active ingredient(s) lying dormant within. I don't know if this makes much sense to anyone else who may be reading, but it seems like a feasible possibility since each manufacturer uses a different set of inactive ingredients. ## Thank you very much for answering my question, in your opion it will work ...

light blue round tables - less than 1/2 inch in diameter - they look as if they have little specs of something brown but very smaill and not may - any info would help ## Sorry, if there is no marking on them, then there is no way to positively identify them, unless you would pay to have them tested by a lab. ## I found a round blue scored pill with not imprint. How do I find a lab that will analyze it? If it is something illegal, can I get in trouble? ## If you are unsure what they are do not take them. Yes you can get in trouble if they are a narcotic,. ## Me course I would not take them. My concern is that I found them in my daughters car on the passenger side. That is why I need to identify them. ## Possibly oxycodone (oxycontin). Sounds like what my husband was taking/prescribed for...

why is the 224 twice the size as other blue roxi's? ## The reason some "BLUES" (street name) are larger than others is because every pill contains a "filler" wether it be a pain reliever like asprin or even just a simple substance that helps keep the pills shape and strength so it doesn't crumble to dust very easily. Another reason they are different sizes are for safety reasons so you can't easily get pills confused with one another and accidentally take something that could harm you. Last but not least they are different sizes and shapes so they can be found and described by anyone who knows enough to use the Internet to check to see what you are taking,if all pills looked the same this would not be very easy. Hope this is one of the answers you were lookin...

I am a 34 year old female that has osteoporosis / bone disc degeneration disease, also hereditary problems. I am in pain constantly and need to find a doctor that will help me. ## Did you find a doctor? Please let me know as I'm in a similar position. I've got 3 bulging discs, a pinched nerve and a few other things going on with my back and neck. I've tried everything from physical therapy to injections and no real relief. My doctor refused to give me any more of the pain meds he'd had me on unless I agreed to back surgery and at this time I don't want to do that and I feel he was only after insurance money. But anyway I've suffered ever since. So I thought someone out here could help me find doctor. Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated. ## Did you ...

Running out of the 5mg oxycodone the Dr. prescribed me 15mg every 3 hours. Now I do have 10/325mg percocet for my damaged back and the 15mg oxycodone was for my urinary tract relocation surgery which I had less than a week ago. My question is, can I take one 5mg oxycodone and one 10mg oxycodone with 325mg Tylenol to help with pain and not overdose? ## In general, that should be safe, but it depends on your overall health, other medications you may be taking, and etc. Have you contacted your doctor to ask what they feel you should do? Looking for a doctor in Delaware/PA for pain management of severe migraine headaches who will prescribe oxycodone liquid. Have been to migraine clinics all over the country and tried Fentyl patch, Botox injections, triptan medications, morphine, diladid, with no relief for chronic dibiltating migraines. ## Has your doctor done any checking to see what's causing your migraines? The reason I'm asking is because Fentanyl is the strongest opiate available, so if it didn't help, it is unlikely that Oxycodone will help, regardless of the form its in. The FDA warns that opiate medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. I had a dr who was prescribing me 150 30mg roxycodone every month. He decided the past month that he no longer is writing them and is only writing subs. I cannot find a dr who will write me my script. Can anyone suggest anyone? ## Who was the doctor ## I'm sorry about the problem that you've run into. However, you're not going find a doctor to just write you your prescription, as a matter of fact, if you're contacting doctors to ask them about prescribing such a medication, they're all going to be inclined to tell you no and not even let you get in the door, because they consider that to be drug seeking behavior. Have you tried asking that doctor to refer you to a pain management specialist? ## i know plenty of drs in nj who prescribe oxycodone and other pain meds 2 ...

I have a drug test tomorrow. I took a single dose (5mg percocet) 2 weeks ago this is the only oxycodone ive had in several months. My daily routine includes very little activity and im slightly overweight but for the first 3-4 for day after taking it i drank gallons of water, cranberry juice and coffee, and urinated several times an hour. After four days though i stopped, until yesterday when i started drinking alot of water again. I got paranoid about the inactivity and worked this morning, however I'm worried now that that may have done more harm than good because the test is tomorrow. This is going to be a very sensitive court-ordered lab test, and may even include a hair follicle, but most likely just urinalysis. Will i pass? Any advice? ## I know the standard is 2-5 days. All the 10 mg Percocets work the same unless they are fake. U shouldn't be messing with pills if u don't know what you're talking about!! If u got an rx from a real dr then u got nothing to worry about. I've had every single 10mg there is and they all work the same so stop crying! ## Unfortunately, this is not true. According to the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient(s). The FDA considers this to be an acceptable therapeutic window and it was put in place to help bring generics to market faster, to create competition and try to keep prices lower. They also do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand. So, while the differences are small, which mean...

Hello. For some reason when I take the yellow 230 oxycodone it always gives me a headache or severe back pain, but when I take the white RP 10 oxycodone they work just fine. Why is that? Is there an ingredient in it that I may be allergic to or something? ## I take the pink 10 mg and the last prescription I felt was that at Walgreens and it was this weird fat tablet that I’ve never seen before. It has an M on it but the manufacturer begin with an S, something is definitely wrong with it it gave me terrible stomach pain. I have stomach problems anyway but it gave me the worst stomach pain ever. I’m actually going to report it to the FDA medwatch but I think the pharmacist did. If not I’m going to. Somethings wrong with them.

There is a pill that is oxycodone that has a different name. What is the name of the pill? ## Hello, Patricia! How are you? In spite of the way it is pronounced, it actually starts with an X, the medication is called Xtampza. It is new time released formulation of Oxycodone, similar to Oxycontin, but using a different time release and abuse prevention mechanism. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
