My mother-in-law didn't tell her dr that she was on Suboxone and was given Targin (which is oxycodone 5mg + naloxone 2.5mg hydrochloride). She is on 2mgs of Suboxone. Will she get sick or withdrawal? Or will it actually help with pain relief? ## Wow! Yesterday, I went to my regular pharmacy, a rite aid to get my oxycodone script filled, I got pills that don't do anything. I have been taking oxycodone or Oxycontin for many years, I have never gotten pills that do nothing. The pharmacy said there was nothing wrong with them. i'm on ocycontin 60mg 4xs daily my break through pain med is either hydrocodone 10-650 or oxycodone w acetaminophen 5-325 which is more effective for pain relief i have to chose one ## At that narcotic dosage, 10mgs of Hydrocodone, versus 5mgs of Oxycodone, they are roughly equivalent. The only way to see which one may be more effective for you is to actually try one of them and see how it works. The Hydrocodone option does have more Acetaminophen in it. so you may also want to base your decision on how concerned you are about that, since it can cause some stomach problems. They both have the same side effect profile, since they are both narcotics, and this may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and stomach irritation. Im 31yrs old now and I been taking oxycodone 10/325 for 17 yts after injuring my L5-S1 and both legs in an auto accident. I seem to be having the same issue as some in this forum. I had been on another brand until this refill & well this Rhodes brand doesn't seem as effective. One of the main reasons I'm here, I thought it odd that I wasn't getting the same relief as the other brand. Found some pills in my sons bag (P500 oblong pill). I asked what it is and he says oxycodone 10/325, but I can not find it anywhere. Is it what he thinks it is? ## No, it is not.
