Been taking oxycodone 10-325 by another company called alvogen and I got these 10-325 with m523 on the back with this company's name (mallinckrodt). Are they the same as hydrocodone? I've been on oxycodone 15mg and oxycodone 40mg long acting for over ten years. My pm Doctor drug tested my urine and is telling me I'm testing positive for hydromorphone and wants to stop giving me my pain medication. I have never taken anything except oxycodone as required by my pm contract. How can I test positive for hydromorphone? ## I also take 40mg oxycontin twice daily and 15 mg of oxycodone three times a day and have been in pain management for almost 17 years. The general answer is 72 hours unless you have liver problems. I take a urine test every two weeks at a clinic, very high level testing. They are looking for .001 nanograms of oxycodone in your urine. I took 200 mg of oxycodone on Sunday night and passed with ease on Thursday afternoon. You can calculate the half life detection time by taking the total miligrams of oxycodone you took most recently in a 24 hour period (i.e, 100mg) and divding by 2 until you get to .001. For every time you divide a number by 2, add 4 hours. So it would look something like this 100/2 = 50 4 hours 50/2 = 25 4 hours 25/2 = 12.5 4 hours and you keep doing this until you get to .001. I have a script for opana and oxycodone. My doctor uses a really expensive lab to send the tests too and they take at least a week... So i know they are intense. If i took an Op 80 (oxycontin) how likely is it that my doc would catch it? ## Oxycontin is Oxycodone. On a urine drug screen, Oxycontin will show up as Oxycodone. Also, Opana's are Oxymorphone, which is Oxycodone and Morphine so the Opana's will also show up as Oxycodone and Morphine. I am not a Dr or a nurse yet but I am in nursing school so I know that if you took an Oxycontin OP 80mg, it will only show up as Oxycodone which you are prescribed. Will I be clear for a urine test wednesday afternoon? ## I would think you should be fine since it is generally out of the average persons system in roughly 2-4 days (based on a number of sources I've read). I am prescribed 10mg oxycodone(percocet not roxy) and take those and oxymorphone. My urine gets sent to a lab if they take it. I dont know if they test levels but I was wondering if they can tell the difference in the 2 medications or not. I was just curious and just wanted to know? About more information about these medications and what their are for, ## From what you've listed, both are the same medication, Oxycodone, just in different doses. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I am taking 30 mgs. Oxycodone up to 3 pills per day for severe back pain. Years ago I was on Oxycontin and don't remember the mgs. What is the difference between these two medications. So I have a high tolerance and I'm trying to figure out how much I can take of the liquid to be safe? Ok, so I was a long time opiate patient (percocet, dilaudid) and went to rehab in July. I am on 14mg of Subutex (buprenorphine) and was clean.... until yesterday. I unfortunately relapsed and am deeply regretting my poor decision and poor judgment. I know that going back to opiates is definitely NOT the road I wanna go back to. I was taking hydrocodon 10-325 and now my dr switched me to Percocet 10-325 and when I take it it puts me to sleep for hours and keeps me drowsy all day is this what it is suppose to do when my other hydrocodone didn't do this to me I was able to stay active and alert and do my daily duties. ## Hello, Ricky!
