Oxycodone #15s are color coded which color is strongest... To be specific; Does any color contain more medicine ## Hello, King! How are you? Generic tablets are not color coded, the colors actually don't mean anything, they are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And any fluctuations are minimal and insignificant. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Well i have sort of the same kind of question about the 30mg oxycodones because I was taking the 20mg oxycodones np 14's for a few years and now my Dr increase me to 30mg oxycodones but the one's I got from th...

I currently take hydrocodone 5mg 4x, albuterol inhaler, ranitadine, vistaril, chantix, mobic, gabapentin and i have a medical marijuana card. I was recently on doxycycline, and nizoral cream. I'm also a caretaker for someone. I handle their medication on an almost daily basis. I went to my doctor and she said i tested positive for oxycodone....there has to be some mistake. Could i have absorbed any from handling the medication ## No, you shouldn't absorb enough for it to be detectable on a drug test, since the tablets are coated. It was more than likely just caused by the Hydrocodone you are taking, if the doctor is using a less expensive, non-certified test. Semi-synthetic and synthetic opiates are well known to cause false positives for their relatives on those types of tests ...

My docs office sent in my prescription for 10 oxycodone. Walmart says they are waiting for prior authorization. From my insurance? What if that is not given? Would the pharmacy allow me to pay out of pocket? Or is that considered addict behaviour? This is not a med I'm trying to fill early. ## Yes, you should be given that option, as long as you aren't trying to get it early, which you have already stated you are not doing. My husband was recently out of a medication, and they said our insurance said it wasn't time for a fill, yet, but we were welcome to purchase as much as he needed, out of pocket, to make sure he didn't run out, until they authorized it. Unfortunately, sometimes, insurance companies can be very strict about prior authorization, and not take into accoun...

My primary care physician said I need to start getting my medication from a pain management Doctor as he is not willing to prescribe for more than 2 months. Can anyone here refer me to a good doctor? I have tried a spinal inj. and had a moderate allergic reaction to it (hives, sweats, nausea). ## I need a good pain doctor in Orlando. I have a few bad disks and the national pain institute wasn't working for me. I was just someone to gain money off of. I travel for work often and it would be nice to have a script to get by, but long term I need to be fixed. Anyone have any suggestions that can help? ## I too had issues with NPI. Did you find another PM doctor that was able to help you?

I have no idea what this tiny pill is. Many years ago when I broke my hip, I got smallish pills like this, but I recall they WERE white, had a capital M inside a square on one side, and a score line on the other side with "15" printed on the upper half scored side of the pill. I’ve read that oxycodone 15s are real light green in color. Oh really? Mine is definitely white, and conforms to all other stated characteristics on this site. Could the color fade over time? Or am I just unable to pick up an alleged light green tint? Would love to know what I found here when trying to clean out under my dresser. Help appreciated. PS: if this IS an old oxycodone 15 mg pill like I used to take, it would have to be from pre-2012. Maybe 15 mg oxycodones were white back then? I always ha...

I need a pain management doctor in Mississippi that will write my pain meds! I have oxycodone 30 and methadone 10 on my pharm print out. If anyone knows of a dr, please let me know, I don't need both meds, just one or the other! Please help ASAP!! ## Do you have a current doctor that you see regularly? Because you are most likely going to need a referral to pain management. Under the new laws that went into effect at the beginning of the year, regular doctors aren't going to be allowed to prescribe such medications for long-term usage. Learn more pain management details here. Except for certain limited exceptions, they will only be allowed to prescribe them for short-term use, such as for a few weeks after someone has had surgery or been injured. ## Dr Robert van Coleman in Flor...

Been taking oxycodone-acetaminaphen 10-325 for about 5 years for chronic back pain. Had the best control of pain from Malinkrodt Manufacturer of this Med. Pharmacist gave me Qualitest once and it failed miserably in controlling my pain. Now they want me to try Rhodes brand. How does Rhodes really compare with my favorite Malinkrodt? ## There are many variables that come into play when determining if one brand is better than another, and the answer to this question tends to be different for each individual based on things like tolerance, age, weight, metabolism, digestive health, mentality, body chemistry, how their body responds to different binders/fillers, etc. Any number of these factors can affect one's perception (without them even knowing) of which tablet they prefer and why t...

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008. Over the years my nerve pain has gotten a lot worse. The pain has gotten so bad that it's ruining my life. I cant walk due to my legs not working correctly and experiencing a loss of all balance. I have pain everywhere but it's the worst in my feet. My Dr. has me on 10 mg oxycodone for about 5 years now. I was on percocet prior but I worried about my liver with all the acetaminophen. My problem is I'm not sure if I have built a tolerance or if I should be taking more at a time but it's not doing much for me. My pain never goes away. The pills slightly take the edge off for about an hour. That's it! I have tried 3 different types and strengths of pain patches and they didn't do anything. I tried morphine with the sa...

I'm trying to identify a pale yellow capsule-shaped pill with T 134. Was told it is oxycodone, assuming 7.5 since this what the person usually takes. Just doesn't seem like that's what they are. ## Hi Stephany, Is there any chance your pill says T 194 as opposed to T 134? I located a yellow capsule-shaped pill with T 194 on one side and blank on the other, that's reportedly identified as Oxycodone hydrochloride + Acetaminophen (10mg/325mg); made by a company called Camber Pharmaceuticals. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 31722-0194. If your imprint is indeed T 134, I still believe it to be a product of Camber (if it was obtained legally through a licensed pharmacy), since they mark all of their generic Percocets in this manner. Hope this ...

I just got an rx of oxycodone. I don't really need them that bad but want to continue getting them. I don't want to become addicted either. So when I go back to my doctor I need to to do a urine to prove that I take them. Are there any suggestions to this eg... Like take a quarter pill two days before urine test? ## You may not get the type of response you are looking for, by saying that you want more oxycodone, but don't really need them. This implies that you are trying to sell your prescription, and is not supported on this forum. Many others truly need this medication for pain, but can't get it because of so many abusers and drug dealers alike. If anything, I would suggest donating your prescription back to the state so that others who need the medication can actuall...

Hi there, Who among us was getting generic percocet by actavis mfr up until walgreens switched to Camber mfr. (RECENTLY) Well...here,s my question....We were getting generic actavis and for many of us, it helped us. I think all of us have heard that a "BRAND NAME" Holds it's patton for 20 years? Then, it goes generic..RIGHT? Well, I have been told by numerous places that the "GENERIC ACTAVIS PERC" went to a "BRAND NAME" How in the world does that happen??? How can a generic suddenly go to a brand name that insurance will not cover? Think about that.... ## The patent is held for 18 years, but there can be some exceptions that allow for additional time, or for a generic to come to market sooner. And no, a generic does not become a name brand, a generic stays a ...

I am 36 weeks pregnant and about a week ago i tested positive for opium when my doctor drug tested me. I took what i thought was a over the counter pain med cuz my back went out but apparently my "friend" had given me a 30 mlg oxy. now child protective services are involved and i was told once my child is born they will test the placenta for drugs and was wondering how long do oxys stay present for that kind of testing? please help i dont want to lose my kids. ## Oxycodone would test positive for Oxycodone and its metabolites, it wouldn't test positive for Opium. Did you mean opiates? The placenta can keep and show what you have taken for the full term of your pregnancy. They will be able to tell, by the amounts detected, if you have just taken one accidentally, or if you ha...

Hi, I've never looked for help on the internet regarding my medication, but I'm at a loss. I'm a 46-year-old, healthy, strong and fit female. Three years ago I was pushed from the top of a 4-story building, falling 80 feet. Subsequently, I still suffer from severe, chronic back pain. I take Oxycodone 10/325 every 4 to 6 hours to help manage my pain. When I last filled my prescription, 3 days ago, I noted that I am getting zero relief. I never take more than one pill in a four hour period. But that first day I took 4 pills within 6 hours and still didn't have relief. I called the pharmacy to see if the manufacturer had changed and she informed me that it had not. In fact I looked at the pills and they looked identical to the pills I got the month before. I don't think...

What is a round white pill with RP on one side and 7.5, 325 on the other side? ## Rhodes Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is oxycodone hcl ir 5mg tab habit forming and if so, how bad? ## As with any highly regulated narcotic there is always a demand for it, whether it be for some sort of chronic pain, or for abusers on the black market. From time to time it goes on backorder because there may not be enough to meet the demand. From working in a pharmacy it doesn't seem to be as commonly used whether it be for legal or illegal purposes as percocet, vicodin, or oxycontin ## Yes, Oxycodone is a narcotic, so it can be habit forming, however, how much really depends on various factors. Such as how long someone is taking it, how much they are taking and the person's own body. People that abuse it are going to have more problems than those that just take it as prescribed. Are there any other questions or c...

I was given a round light green pill for pain. It's imprinted with K8 on one side and a score mark on the opposite side. All I keep finding is Oxycodone 15mg, but all of those are scored through the K and the 8. Any ideas? ## The real version of this light green Oxycodone hydrochloride 15mg tablet has a score line in between the K | 8 on the front and nothing on the back. For verification, the manufacturer is KVK Tech Inc. and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 10702-008. Additionally, the pill is approx. 6mm in size. Anything outside of this description should be observed with caution; especially if you didn't receive it from a licensed pharmacy. Hope this helps!
