I found a pill in my boyfriend's pocket that is yellow, round and has a funny-shaped "E" and a "6" beside the E. So my little brother just got off drugs and we're sharing a room and I found this little weird pill, it's like a yellowish orange circular pill and on one side it says "OX" & the other side says nothing... if anyone happens to know what it is I'd like to be enlightened. Please please please someone direct me to a doctor who will listen and prescribe the amount of oxycodone my son needs. Pain management clinics are a joke and fall short of what we know will keep him comfortable until they can do the therapy or procedures that may be able to get him out of pain so he doesn't have to take it. He only needs 60 mg a day in 4 15 mg doses. That is what we've found works and makes it so he doesn't get sick from the meds and is out of the considerable pain he is in. He can't work because they won't give him enough to function. I have spent so much money I dont have to take care of him! He has Ahccs healthcare coverage! I have been prescribed 10mg oxycodone for the passed 2 years, 4x daily and have never had any problem with the ones I usually get (pink). This last rx the pharmacy gave me the RP 10s made by Rhodes Pharm. And I have never had a oxycodone make me so sick, sweating nausea, headache, chills. And to top it off no pain relief what so ever. So they come to florida and jam up our local doctor offices and our local pharmacies, and we Floridians have to wait on them. Hello and first thank you for any helpful replies. I just moved to SoCal from NorCal and cannot find a pharmacy that carries generic Actavis 30mg IR Oxycodone. It has been my experience that generics made by KVK and Mallinekrodt make me sick. My doctor has heard other patients say this about Actavis products working better and the pharmacist I spoke to said it could be different binders/fillers/dyes that could be making me sick even though they are supposed to be inert. Meaning I cannot get an answer to this after much research over the years here and there. It’s always the same questions, what’s better, what’s more powerful (which is Oxy of course) or what is the difference between the two. My question is this. Does Hydro hit DIFFERENT receptors then Oxy and vice versa? If Oxy is more powerful, then “assuming” it fills receptors that Hydro does not??
