Can a pharmacists change the doctors written prescription or more to the point can anyone other than the doctor alter or write on the prescription face to change the refill or prescribed dosage time. If not then how does one go about filing a complaint. Altering a document and with the Florida law as written would that be considered forgery. ## Of course changes can be made, but they have to be authorized by the doctor and, if the prescription is for a controlled substance, then an entirely new prescription should be written to be on file at the pharmacy. My doc gives me hydro 5s for my back but I ran out and my mom gets. my husband has been using 1 of my pain meds for about a year for his shoulder. he wants to go to a doctor through work to get his own script so he will have to take a urine test. I am prescribed percocet but get oxycodon-acetamino[hen 7.5-325. How long will he need to stay off my meds to pass a urine test ? ## He will need to stay off it for at least 3 full days. trying to keep a regular pharmacy these days to fill my scrip for 30mg oxys - I've been going to pain med doc for over 7 years and unfortunately have been using Walgreens in the past who seem to have simply decided not to carry them with the exception of the 15mg's - anyone in Hillsborough county had luck with other pharmacies? who take insurance?? My Dr. in the city i moved from had me taking 100mg. of kadiam twice a day oxycodone 30mg four times a day and soma 350mg. three times a day. Since my move to San Antonio I have been reduced to 15mg.morphine twice a day and 10mg of oxy. three times a day and treated like a drug addict becouse I told te Dr. the medicine was not helping me. Where can I go here in San Antonio to a Doctor that is not afride to prescribe medician to help me out of this pain. i have all my test results to prove I am in need of help. Trying to work out what a round white pill with raised cursive writing on it could be. There are two letters on one side of the pill. I can not see the back as it is only a photo in a phone. I just got on medicare and had been given my pain meds which are Hydromorphone 8 mg (120) and morphine sul. 60 mg 2 daily. My prior Dr had me on 100 mg of the morphine and 180 of the hydromorphone. I can see a pain specialist who takes insurance but don't know who.. Can anybody to go to. Can anybody refer me to some Drs that will write a reasonable amount of medicine so that I am not in pain. Why do the teal 30mg capsules taste like mildew? ## A lot of people actually think Oxycodone tastes pretty foul and bitter ("awful" may even be a more accurate description lol). I can't imagine being on it for too long if you have to choke it down every time. Although I do wonder if some brands or manufacturers actually taste worse than others... I found a baggie filled with water pills and oxycodine . What does this do ? ## From a logical point of view, I don't see why anyone would have a bag full of water-filled capsules, mixed in with some oxycodone pills. Then again, people have strange ways of abusing their pain medications. Not sure if it could have anything to do with oxycodone being water soluble or something of the sort, in order to help break down the pill. That is just my theory anyway. Whereabouts did you end up finding this bag of pills?

This all seems to have started around the same time Darvon was pulled from the shelves with nothing to replace it. (Darvon & Tramadol combined was finding some success in providing relief for fybromyalgia) I gave up on trying to get Walgreens to fill prescriptions for Oxycodone/Oxycontin. After trying Walmart, several Publix, CVS & most of the Walgreens in my area, I am trying the Morphine based product MS Contin instead. I had an allergic reaction to the generic brand and am now on day 2 of the manufactor's and am experiencing similar problems. The conversion formula from Oxycodone to Morphine isn't reliable either. Meanwhile, the local Walgreens are now out of Adderall going on 2 weeks, because the company that makes it (Corapharma & Barr make the two generics) app...

I have saw these pills as far as I can tell they r generic 80 mg oxy ## From what I could gather, this pill is in fact confirmed to be controlled release Oxycodone/Oxycontin (80mg). I'm in the middle of an appeal for disability with binder & the disability...each day that goes by things have gone down hill... FAST! How dangerous is oxycodone really? I've heard so many stories about peoples' hearts exploding. Can oxys really cause that? Or is it only when you mix it ## Oxycodone is a powerful narcotic pain killer. Basically anybody who takes it has to be really responsible about their dosage. There have been many accidental overdoses, especially when taken with alcohol. Actually mixing this with alcohol is a deadly combination.
