I have been on sever chronic pain meds for almost 14 years. upon moving to Oregon I discovered I had to get a new doctor. After several attempts with several doctors i am now with a pain management specialists, Covallis pain and spine. However, they have denied interest in keeping my meds anywhere close to where they have been for the past 13 years. I am not a doctor, I have however done everything I know to do to try to explain that what they are doing is only making my pain and my life more difficult to live with. I am not a drug seeker or an addict. I hate having to take drugs to have a shot at having some semblance of a "normal" life. But after having to endure so much for so long I am very close to throwing in the towel. I have been taking oxycodone, methadone and corisapro...

I just had a bunionectomy today and the doctor have me oxycodone - acetaminophen 5-325 and meloxicam for pain and inflammation. I have already been taking the trazadone 100mg for sleep at night. In the mornings I take effexor for depression and topiramate for migraines. Please let me knowif ii can take the pain mes with the trazadone ## Hello, Based on my research there are potentially unsafe drug interactions listed between Oxycodone and Trazodone; as well as Effexor (venlafaxine) and Trazodone. Apparently, taking either of these drug combinations together can increase your risk of developing serious symptoms associated with serotonin syndrome. Due to the severe nature of serotonin syndrome, it sounds like your best bet would be to sit down with your doctor and talk about these concern...

I have been managing my chronic pain illegally for a long time because I have not had insurance. I was originally prescribed oxycodone 15mgs years ago after an injury. Roughly two years later I changed jobs, moved to a new state, and am now self employed and for the first time in years I have insurance. Total it has been about 8 years since I last had medical coverage and seen a Dr., this whole time I have been "self medicating" illegally. I know that sounds really bad and I am ashamed to say it BUT the reality is I am in constant pain and I couldn't afford insurance OR the mandatory monthly visits to maintain a prescription to a narcotic pain reliever. Not to mention the $200+ bill to fill the prescription monthly. Now that I am insured and starting to become successful I a...

I have taken 30 mg oxycodone for chronic pain for three years. a small blue pill. Medication has been successful in pain control. Had to go to different pharmacy. I was given a round white pill, one side scored with 114 imprint. Are they the same/ exact same/ i cannot tolerate acetiminophen ## Hello, Barbara Jean! How are you? Yes, the tablet with the 114 marking does contain 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'm a cronic pain patient going on 10 Years. I have had multiple surgeries on my lower back. I have been prescribed Oxycodone 30mgs up to as many as #240 a month -As low as #90 a month depending on which Dr. I was seeing at the time. This has been extended over a 5 yr period. I do not misuse, sell, give or abuse my medication In any way. I work a very labor intensive job with heavy machinery daily and have found other drugs such as: fentynal duragesic patches, morphine, dilaudid, methadone and Opana to greatly reduce awareness and complicate an already complicated job due to side effects. Now, I'm on Morphine #120 mgs a day.. both immediate and long acting release.. and can't function due to drowsiness and a "head in the clouds " type of feeling. At work, I have notice...

Can a mrphine extended release 15mg hurt you if taken with oxycodone ## Hello, Liz! How are you? Yes, it can if you aren't tolerant to narcotics. They both cause depression of the central nervous system, so combining them could result in dangerously lowered heart rate, blood pressure and shallow breathing. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Morphine details here. Learn more Oxycodone details here. However, it should be noted that the tablet with the marking you asked about, 93 1118 is not a narcotic of any type. This tablet contains 600mgs of Etodolac ER, this is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory in a time released formulation. It's used...

I have really bad back pain and I have been seeing my doctor for about three years. I have tried just about every med that there is. I finally settled with oxycodone 30mg. It has been a life saver for me. I now can work without pain. Lately, I have been experiencing it not working and that disappoints me because now I am starting to have more pain. Is it possible that I have become used to the medication and it is not working anymore??? Is 30 mg the maximum dose? I am now taking 30mg every 4-6 hours. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas? ## Lakeka, unfortunately i had the same issues. After time, it seemed my tolerance for the oxycodone grew, and it became less and less effective. At this point, i take a 40mg oxycotin (which is time release) in the late morning along with my 30mg oxyc...

It look like a peach tan oblong an has 29 an a half sidways moon on it ## Hi Jessica, I located a match to your pill, except that this pill is shown to be a mid-toned yellow color as opposed to peach. I suppose in certain lighting it could appear peach colored, but you can view a photo of the pill on the manufacturer's page (linked below): As you can see, it was identified as Oxycodone 5mg + ibuprofen 400mg, and is manufactured by Actavis. NOTE: If the color does not match your pill for some reason, at least you can be sure that the manufacturer makes this same pill and it is likely that they are the same ingredients, with different dosages. I hope this information helps! ## I found a half of a pill on the floor and have had no luck figuring out what it is. It is about 4mm in length...

9 am. Took one oxy 30 m box. Had a very brief oxy therapeutic effect then bam! Heart rate skyrocketed, got restless and pupils so dilated vision was effected. This lasted for 4 hours, considered going to the ER it was that bad. This was mixed in with a batch from a VERY reputable pharmacy. I believe they may have gotten a mixed fake-real batch. I felt like I was gonna die. Be careful every one, fake roxies are here on the west coast.

i have been on the 50mcg patches for about 2 yrs. also take breakthrough of 4 10mg. oxycodone. i've noticed the past few months i need to take more of the pills. the patch has worked good but it is possible it needs to be uped to 100mcg.s? i have a good dr. i've been told that if the patch is increased that the other pills need to be raised too. i have chronic pain. i have a high tolerance. i looking to only get more relief not a high. ## Hello, Merle! How are you feeling? Sorry about the problems you're having. No, it isn't necessarily true that raising one requires raising the other. That is entirely up to your doctor and how well each one works for you. They may just raise the patch and leave the tablets as is, or vice-versa. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Learn m...

The pill that I have has 05 and 32 on the other side there is a letter M. I have seen the other postings of pills with this same number. You ask them if the markings are 05 52. What type of pill is the one that has 05 32? ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? There is no tablet with the 0532 marking. I admit that it is hard to see the imprint and it can look like a 3, instead of a 5, but I think you do have the one with the M 0552 marking and it does contain 5mgs of Oxycodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I also suffer severe chronic pain with RSD (not too many know what it is), which is something you never want disease, back surgery and because of walking awkward from the RSD in my leg/foot causing even worse pain and osteoporosis, I just felt the need to reply. Listen up, I worked in medical for years before my crippling injury, and I take 10mg oxycodone (percs) x4 a day. Please read. If your meds lessen your pain and not totally relieve it, be grateful. If YOU TAKE TOO MUCH OR INCREASE YOUR DOSES TO FEEL NO PAIN (which we all desire), you are really messing up. If you are in a really bad car wreck, any severe injury, then you are SOL. nothing will relieve any pain because you take so many meds and your body is used to it, NOTHING is going to help you. Another point is these kind of me...

I really need help finding a new doctor around south philly. All I can find is epidural shots and I do not like them, they make me feel paralyzed all day. All of a sudden my dr who was prescribing my medication wanted to cut back, I've had 3 surgeries on my foot (8 screws) also have fibromyalgia. I used to take 30mg oxy. Please email me, it would be extremely helpful. I do not want the shots!! {edited for privacy} Thanks!! - Karan ## Hello, Karan! How are you doing? Sorry about the problem that you're having. However, if you're calling around to new doctors to ask if they'll prescribe Oxycodone, which is a highly addictive controlled substance, they are all going to tell you no, or that they only do the shots. They view that type of thing as being drug seeking behavior. ...

IN NEED OF MEDS WHICH PARMACY HAS THEM IN LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA ## Hello, Tischa! How are you doing? I'm sorry, but there is no database of pharmacies according to what they have in stock, such a thing would be very dynamic and impossible to keep up with, anyway. The best suggestion I can make is to just keep trying various pharmacies in your area. However, you will have to go in person, because if you call you will not get an honest answer, since they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. I have undergone a total knee revision. My local pharmacy refuses to fill my prescription for roxicontin 5mg that my surgeon has prescribed to manage my pain. Why is this a problem? ## Hello, Lester! How are you? Sorry about the problem you had with your doctor. I think the biggest issue here is going to be that there's only so much any doctor can do to work with you, regardless of your work schedule. They aren't allowed to give refills on these types o...

Just looking for a doctor that will perscribe pains meds preferably 15 or 30 mg oxycodones. I have had four knee surgeries, currently don't have an Acl and lost 30 percent of my meniscus and have osteoarthritis and am in pain quite a bit. If anyone knows of any doctors in the Albany area it would be greatly apprecaite. Thank you. ## Hello, Kneepain! How are you doing? Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. The only thing you can really do is set up an appointment with a pain specialist, make sure they get a full copy of your current medical records, then keep the appointment and discuss what they can do to help you. If you feel they won't help, then you'll need to try a different doctor. Ho...
