I really need help finding a new doctor around south philly. All I can find is epidural shots and I do not like them, they make me feel paralyzed all day. All of a sudden my dr who was prescribing my medication wanted to cut back, I've had 3 surgeries on my foot (8 screws) also have fibromyalgia. I used to take 30mg oxy. Please email me, it would be extremely helpful. I do not want the shots!!

Hello, Karan! How are you doing? Sorry about the problem that you're having.
However, if you're calling around to new doctors to ask if they'll prescribe Oxycodone, which is a highly addictive controlled substance, they are all going to tell you no, or that they only do the shots. They view that type of thing as being drug seeking behavior.
In order to really find out what they offer as treatment options, you'll actually need to go in for a consultation appointment and make sure that they receive a full copy of your most current medical records.

Do you have a PCP that could refer you to someone? That would most likely be the easiest way to find the help you need.
