My friend goes to a substance abuse treatment clinic she says that she has not taken any oxycontin but that her urine screen keeps on showing up positive for this drug her boyfriend crushes them and swallows them and she kisses him is it possible that this is the reason why? I'm brand new to this..my fiance is in the verge of being diagnosed with colon cancer we have just seen oncologist recently he has prescribed him 10mg of oxycontin sr 2times per day and percocet 5/325.2 every 4 hrs as needed his pain is tremendous and has debilitated him he was prescibed 90 for now and that was 3 days ago he is now down to 45 left he will run out quickly in the next few we are new to this and I think he is takin well over the recommended dose but his pain is so bad and its the only thing that gives him any sort of relief and not even that much. Os therd anything stronger we could ask the doctor for that may help..somebody said ask for dilaudid but I don't think that comes in pill form he had that as an Iv in the hospital and it helped soo much. I have had migraines since I was 13. Recently, last 4 months, found that Oxycodone takes the pain, auora, and naseau away in about an hour, and keeps it away for up to 8 hours. This is a miracle. No other migraine drug ever worked like this. Now, with the new laws, my primary won't prescribe this. I need to locate a migraine doctor that will treat me. I only get one or two headaches a month, and take 1-2 pills for them, so I am only needing 4 to 6 pills a month, but still impossible to get them. They really are a life changer for migraine sufferers. I wish someone had tried these on me 30 years ago. If so, when it comes to drugs, there isn't really an allowable limit, per se. The way any medication can affect any given person varies, which is why such markers are used to determine someone's level of impairment. I take oxycodone 15 mg, 3 times a day and I take fiorinal with codeine, 4 times a day. I take a over counter allergy pill called diphenhydramine 25 mg. my husband broke his back his L 3 Vertebrata two years ago and was prescribed oxycodone from his sergeant and has been on this narcotic every since. And now he got a letter stating that he can no longer recieve his prescription from that sergeants office anymore and that he needs to go to his primary care physician and he does not have one.. If I took one .5 oxycodone will I pass my drug test tomorrow ## IF you drink a lot of water you might not show hot but it is only a chance. just make sure you drink a lot of water before your test. If you aren't suppose to have this drug then stop it before you need more and more. If you do need it than it shouldn't make any difference what you test shows as long as you have a script.

Well I was in a car wreck and broke my neck in 3 places and also have suffered from severe panic attacks and anxiety. I had a doctor who really helped me we went through several medications and we found the best combination of medication for me that actually made it possible for me to maintain a relatively normal life. Then he had a legal suit against him for supposedly touching a female in a unprofessional manner and his license has been suspended. Is Mylan not offerring this drug in the u.s. anymore? The pharmacies are now saying they can only order from a manufacturer with the imprint "224" on it. Any answers would be appreciated. I have used Oxycodone 5, 10, and 20 mg. The trouble with the slower active Oxycodone is that you cannot tell when it is going to work, and it also slows down your GI function. I also find I am short of breath. Why is it getting so difficult to fill a prescription for 5mg? And why is it so much more expensive? ## Are you referring to the time released? If so, it starts working within 15 to 20 minutes of taking it. And which 5mg formulation are you asking about, the instant release, or the regular release?

They are very new to the market, but many people have posted about them on various sites and identified them as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone, generics for Roxicodone. Just wondering how the script would be written for K56 BID or PRN ## Hi Sara, Depending on the description of your pill, a round pink pill imprinted with "K 56" is identified as Oxycodone hydrochloride 10 mg. Manufacturer: KVK Tech Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 10702-056 With regards to that information, I'd imagine that your doctor would simply write you a script for Oxycodone with that specific drug code or manufacturer in mind. Different doctors may write their scripts differently though, so I guess it's not really for anyone else to say how he or she might go about filling out a prescription form.
