Received prescription for oxycodone and experienced the worst side effects. Made me stay awake for extended periods of time. Chills, sweats, headache, anxiety it was horrifying. I disposed of. This should not be given without supervision. ## Hello, Lola! How are you feeling? Some people do experience those side effects, when they take this medication, since it is a narcotic. I have a serious question id like to be answered by a doc or pharmacist. So my mother is a stroke patient she has severe pain on a daily basis her doctor prescribes her 5 milligrams of oxycodone every 8 hours for pain 90 quantity at a time well this week because she also fell in rehab and dislocated her shoulder and sprained her ankle she gave me a prescription on the 22nd for 90 and on the 26th 4 For 90 I was a little bit confused and I don't want to get anybody in trouble or get flagged or whatnot but is this legal and will I get in trouble? normally she gets 90 a month and that's it but again she prescribed 90 on June 22nd and 90 on June 26 what should i do can I fill them both or will I get in trouble somebody please help? My Oxycodone 5mg does not contain Tylenol. Can I take the Oxycodone with over the counter Tylenol? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? You can do that, as long as your doctor approves. I work in the log woods doing hard labor. My back has been hurting me badly for about 3 months now. I need a doctor close to Oklahoma/Arkansas area that will try and get me some kind of prescription to help me through work. I tried Hydrocodone and it makes me sick. I have not tried going to the doctor because I'm young and feel they will most likely laugh in my face. it's a form of oxycodone + acetaminophen ## Hi rudy, Are there imprints on the tablet as well or does it not have any markings? Reason I ask is because I actually came across several different pentagon shaped yellow pills. However, all of them happen to have imprints of some sort. My findings of pentagon shaped yellow pills include the following medications: Cyclobenzaprine 10mg Dexamethasone 0.5mg Effexor 50mg Flexeril 10mg If you could please post back with any additional information on potential markings and maybe even where the pill originated from, this may help narrow down our search efforts. I have had Script of 15 mg. oxycodone for years. 3 a day. I was moving and took a couple more than I should have so I ran out. I borrowed 2 30 mg. blue with 215 on one side and used a pill splitter to cut them in half. I usually never overdo it, because I don't like the high feeling, I just want my knee pain controlled. These things do not react on me the same. They made me nervous, dizzy, short of breath. It is actually kind of creepy! Does anyone know what the problem could be? I have been on to oxycodone 5 milligrams 325 4 times a day sometimes 5 times a day for 10 years now I have liver function problems my alt and Alt are in the seventies my doctor is switching me to percocet 10 5 times a day is that the same dosage and is the Tylenol lower dose. I have severe lower back pain from having fifteen different surgeries plates and screws in my neck rods in both my arms and knees deteriorating and a number of other stuff from the USMC. need a pain medication that doesn't have aspirin in it but is effectice i am taking oxycondone ## You can always talk to your doctor about prescribing generic Oxycodone as apposed to Percocet (Acetaminophen + Oxycodone). Aside from that option, generic Hydrocodone is a common substitute for Oxycodone. There is a decrease in potency however, so if you are on a high dose of Oxycodone you may want to taper that dose down a little and start with a slightly higher dose of Hydrocodone. I have this pill that is marked A/51, but the Capitol a is rounded at the top, when I look it up it says oxycodone 30mg, but the picture has the pointy capital a, not rounded at the top. I am prescribed 80 mg of xycodone and 8 mg of dilaudid a day. My urine came back as >4000 of oxycodone and 82 of hydrocodone and hydromorphone, codeine, morphine, 6_AM, all came back <20. I've recently fractured my hip and am taking 5mg Oxycodone,but don't really feel the affect of it and want to know if I chew it will the affect be stronger. ## No, the effects will be the same. You can't get more than 5mg out of 5mg. You should see your doctor if it isn't helping. The goal is to minimize your pain not to "feel it." Hope you do well. ## When a medication as strong as Oxycodone can't be felt, then you have to figure that something strange is going on with the tablet itself. I am on a liver transplant list. I normally take 10 to 20mg daily. I recently have had very severe pain and have been taking approximately 40mg daily. My liver doctors tell me I can only take tylenol for pain. That obviously doesn't work. If I go to the ER they will give me morphine and I am going to have dental work. They said its ok then. Liver transplant doctors tell me today I'm not allowed oxy which is a joke. They are more fearful of addiction .... over severe pain ? I need help.... I have to urine test monthly. Please respond. KVK Tech's round pink 10mg Oxycodone (imprinted with K|56) represents the only close depiction of this I could find. Not only that, but brand name Roxicodone tablets don't appear to come in the color pink...at least in today's current US market. One could speculate though that maybe they did at some other point in time...I just haven't come across any specific details to verify this. All I would say at this point, is if you got this filled at a licensed pharmacy you might want to contact them for an explanation. I've been taking oxycontin 10mg for 2 years for chronic nerve pain after back surgery. I've gotten a few different kinds from different manufacturer's. I noticed that a couple of months ago that they didn't seem to be working. More pain, along with some pretty awful withdrawal-like symptoms. Also, they were coming out exactly the same as they went in. (not sure how to put THAT nicely-sorry!) After I did some checking, I found that the manufacturer was different.
