Oxycodone Shortage Scam (Page 4) (Top voted first)

Guys, i hate to tell you this but its all bulls***>>> after 3 weeks trying to fill my Oxy 30, 140, i finally got to speak to my Pharm Manager who Ive used for 12 years. He told me straight up, that all the calls and people have hurt their regular business, so they decided to stop ordering Oxy in any amout to avoid the crap I was floored as all of a sudden he filled my script on the spot not 30 secs before they were all telling me they didnt have any. He told me last that would be the last one filled as hes not ordering anymore. I discussed with him about just oredering for me, as I'm legit and trying to follow the rules by using only one doctor and one pharmacy. He said he"ll consider it just for me. What a bunch S***!!! This from a guy Ive known for 12 years. It is a Walgreens, This is a conspiricy to avoid all of the drug seekers at our expense. They should go back to getting it off the street and leave us alone. How many more of us have to suffer? Im dag gone tired of being looked at as a druggy as I limp up to the counter. I spent 30 years as a cop on the job in New York, shot in the leg and arm for the citizens I swore to protect and now to be treated like the guys I put in the slammer? Im sure there are plenty of us on the blog. What the hell? Anybody know a good attorney? I guess I should start taking Morphine or Herion and sleep all day since I cant get the medication that works and this is America? Sound off you guys its the only way were going to be heard. I cannot find any online pharmacies that will do schedule ll, at all. Can anyone tell me one that will fill them?
It is getting almost impossible for me to fill my script, at local pharmacies.

Is there a pharmacy to fill oxycodone 30 mg I will wait 5-7 days to not have to run around for 3 weeks and 20 pharmacy's to be told they don't have any!,,,

I feel the same as u I work 10 hr s a day 6 days a week and the pain in my feet r excuaiting I have the same problem with these pharmacies

H doesn't necessarily make you sleep all day, as a matter-of-fact it wakes me up. You would be surprised to know how many H addicts are around you working and living a "normal" life.

Who are you to decide what someone is tolerant of taking? Are you a licensed physician who specializes in pain management patients? I'm assuming that would be a no. Don't down someone for what they do because it isn't your place to judge 'Gizmo' or anybody else using opiates. Give him props for actually trying to go about it the legal way. Small minded people who don't understand tolerance, dependence or addiction shouldn't voice their opinions until they have done extensive research or been through it personally.

it's not a scam, conspiracy or anything else, google Walgreens, $80M and you will see why everyone is having a problem filling prescriptions for oxy. real simple.....

Amen!!! Sorry about ur husbands pain, I to was on almost the same amount before my back surgery & when I woke up from being cut stem to stern, wasn't thinking that was gonna happen, they had me on 15 mg morphine & 5mg oxy for 2 weeks the just 5 mg oxy... We'll 3lbs of titanium later & a screaming tail bone I'm back on 30s after almost 3 months out, which will change every month as my surgeon & primary seem to think this is a walk in the park but the surgeon is always puffed up about how he did this & not many people have had there near entire spine fused! Hmmm they seem to know my pain? Psychic too wonder if he or they can tell me what #s to pick for lotto! So anyway it so depends on tolerance & length of time you've gradually went up…so those who say we r druggies I pray for you that you don't ever need a pain pill of have to live with chronic pain.

You are so right I'm in Erie Pa and it's the same here I've been suffering because my Dr . of 13 years decides he doesn't want to prescribe it to me anymore and it works it gave me my life back isn't it our doctors job to help us not judge us I wish for just one day the #ss holes could feel what have too feel everyday they take an to help us and they've failed us miserably and it's time some light gets shined on the subject.

Also my pharmacy told me the oxycodone I can swallow without sliding into a sinus trap & melt they won't order anymore because try cost to much...I live in washington state I'm not a f'n druggy either ask the new 3 lbs of titanium in my spine! God bless those who need them, those who don't? Why do you even come on this chat forum? Odd balls!!

you are soooooooo wrong, i am on same .. people like you make me sick.. i have severe problems and without med i can not walk nor sit a period of time nor work, maybe i should just remain in pain and sponge off the welfare system

I had to travel to 15 different Pharmacies till I called my pain mgmt Dr who gave me a compound pharmacy that deals with cancer patients and are used to fill my type of rx 240-40mg oxycodone. Get them every month no problem. L.I. NY

Was taking 30 malinkodt, pharmacist said no more cost to much to order, tripled in price, Carries 15 mg though don't know what to believe with all these opioins

i feel the same way you do we in so much pain but we have to suffer for the drug heads out there it is not fair to the ones who realy need the meds for pain i live in pain every day of my life i hurt my back 13 years a go i am tired of people looking at me like i am a drug head i take my meds like the doctor tells me to and thats all i do not abuse them i need them to live a little from some pain it dont take it all away.thank you for your time.
