Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 73)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

I'm in Valdosta, Ga. and I moved here because I bought a home...I've had several neck sugerys and hand surgery. I stay in pain from my back also. I need my meds but can't find a Dr. Here that writes them...please help me?!

There are almost no oxycodone clinics on Fl, Pam Bondi made sure of it. When u finally find a pm in fl, and actually get a scrip..good luck trying to fill it. The original poster posted in 2011, when Fl had pill mills on every corner, ppl from all over the US were going there to get meds.. Going to Fl is the last state u or me or any other pain sufferer would be helped. The er's treat u like s*** and no more family docs can prescribe. You have to go to a Pm clinic.

My name is Bama boy. I was in a 18 wheller acident. I have had problems up to to this day. I was getting my pain medication from Birmingham VA 6 month's ago they were going to stop my medication. So i went to a pain management center in Birmingham. They cut me down to were i cant funtion. I recently had back surgery. The Surgon gave me pain med after my surgery my Pain doc said not get no more from them. I had apt 10 days after surgery . My pain doctor not even give me pain medication she cut my dosages from 3× a day to 2 × a day . I am fed up with this. Can you find me a pain doctor somewhere in Alabama. Birmingham. Tuscaloosa. Or Huntsville area. Thank you Bama boy.

No one here will have any better luck seeking an appropriate medical provider/specialist then you the patient and the one suffering is always best at articulating their history,treatments and possible meds to be prescribed. It's frustrating and exhausting but no one can fight better for yourself then you. Hope you find relief ASAP.

Ok. I know this post is for a much stronger med but I am hoping someone on here can help. I am looking for a PM clinic in Ky. I personally live near Hazard but willing to drive. I recently began having severe back and leg pain. I began seeking treatment and my CT revealed I have two herniated disks, two bulging disks, and degenerative disk disorder. I also needless to say, have extreme sciatic pain in my leg. My dr put me on two norco 10's a day along with a muscle relaxer but nothing for the nerve pain. Honestly the norcos help me a lot but 2 a day is not helping enough. I am just trying to find a Dr that would maybe increase to at least 4 a day plus something for the nerve pain. I however can't find a place that isn't booked out forever and a day. I can't wait forever because I am a single working mother of 4 and have to work everyday but the pain is getting unbearable! I need a PM clinic fast!! Please Please Help Me!!!!

Hi

I would like to join in the conversation if I could. I am travelling to the USA. Numerous states. So I am open to anything.

I did speak with a pain clinic in Ariz that said the Dr would see me. I asked them about medication. And there were no problems. I just needed to bring a copy of my last Doctors report. Which is not an issue.

Please read this first. Before asking me the name of the clinic Dr etc etc. I know we all are looking for a great one. Either to fix or to get rid of the pain somehow. 1 or 2 or both. Sometimes I miss Walmart in Mexico where get just get what you need.
I have not been to this clinic yet. I don't know what the Doctor will give me. Nor do I think its a pill mill. ie get what you want. With Cash and no help for your condition. I do not think it is a pill mill.

But I do think there is a lot of misinformation out there. So I believe it would be best to check with your Pharmacist first before asking questions. Not trying to be rude. But we all have to be careful not to relay anything unless we know it is 100% true state wide.

Also, yes the general public is going crazy. 1. It is the voting public that is dying. 2. There is a huge over reaction. The T in T3 kills more then the Codiene 25x more per year on average.

My question when people switched to Oxycontin and not Perc's did that save more liver's and lives or did the oxycodone kill more people. I have not seen the News think to do a full report on that.

Or how many people would have died from NSAID's (ie Aleve) etc if it was not for all the Opiates.

And yes there has been a number of Doctors who have abused us. And there have been a number of patients abuse the Doctor patient relationship to no end. But the facts are 2-4% at the highest of those who are prescribed an Opiate end up addicted. Which is lower then cigarettes. So if you think the government is overreaching and you are taking opiates and no one at work knows about it. Maybe someday we can be open to others about how these medications help use not hurt use.

Sorry for the long message. I hope that we all remember not to be too quick in the blame game. And remember that there are more people without treatment then those without.

Best of luck on a lower pain day. I won't say free. But a lower score.

Hi

Is that the same for all opiates or just oxy's. I have been prescribed them all. Oxy is the best for those with constipation I have found. But I always find it gives you a lot of energy then you crash later on.

Here some information. In Canada on the Toronto Stock Exchange the head of Purdue who make Oxycontin. He started a MMarijuana company.

I thought that was interesting.

Can you let me know if there are any good pain clinics left in Florida.

Any information would be helpful. I will share anything I find. I am travelling across the USA and I will find out how every state works by the time I am done this new work assignment.

It sure is hard to travel now.
