Posters (Lynn),

Scientifically we proved years ago when most of you were written opioids that this was the safest way to manage intractable pain. Although this is not LAW the FDA 120 mg. morphine equivalent will not allow what you are asking and the physicians will not risk getting busted. Why? The FDA never did this and the rationale is the HIGH RATE OF OVERDOSE DEATHS on prescription medications. Understand this make no doubt the one's who are OVERDOSING are not prescribed the medication but the physicians due to Odumma and his insanity are not risking it.

If you truly cannot die from intractable pain (I can) the 30's are not even allowed in some states. California stopped them a long time ago; Lynn if you know you are tolerant and your physician is in trouble don't think to expect this again if you cannot do anything but feel "dope sick" on the lower amount then find a good treatment program. Or a methadone clinic.

Methadone clinics can and will save your life until a good physician is again available. The problem for all of us across America is when. Not quick enough to save my life.

I'm so sorry you are in that situation and you are still able to talk and help people on these chats. I just wonder if this dea interference is going to last or will it change when we get new leader? Isn't there some way that the true pain patients can get what they need. I doint know I'm just dumbfounded on these rules.

Hi Lynn,

When Odumma goes healthcare should return to for profit which is why we have the best medical care and cures in the world. We will return to pain management but many of us may die waiting. This is a joke.

Physicians will not be able to tolerate it; they too are human. They will do it for now they anticipate if you are on opioids you will always need more and if they say "No" you move on to another physician.

Now we are a disease spinning in death circles. Those not affected yet will be for the FDA never pulled this move. Ultimately the excuse is the HIGH OVERDOSE deaths due to opioids but actual DEATHS are by those NOT prescribed using our medications illegally. Why under Odumma are addicts glorified.

Lyn,

Currently it's the FDA putting this mandate out for 120 mg. morphine equivalent.

The key is physicians are terrified for this is NEW never happened so instead of "do no harm" we are all harmed irreversibly. Some of us may die. I may die and the best my other can do is file a fatality claim for my workers compensation (old employer) is at the bottom of what occurred in my case. What good is money to him a man who never married waiting in Australia for me to settle this old, old medical claim and come over NONE.

What do my grown children and grand kiddo's say when they grow up to learn that America is not the land of the free, that our Constitution is now a joke; that some minority leader who came in gratis (no brains a true wannabe could I be would I be socialist) only to have government without MEDICAL licensure behind it SUPPORT street addicts abusing our medications?

The government should be arresting those who abuse these prescription drugs. That includes (and throw away the key) those who prop their physicians for higher dosages and sell their medications; they are the worst to hit the streets yet. NO excuse for this not a one. Next in line are family members who abuse the pain medications of their invalid or terminal family members; suddenly becoming attentive and pushing their physicians to write MORE AND MORE so now we have two family members tolerant to ONE's prescription medications. One legitimate and one an addict. Last should be purported DEA and other LE officials who are allowed to obtain dirty MRI's and take classes on what pain is and how to emulate it in order they falsely walk into physician's offices with FALSE records and symptoms to obtain medications to trick physicians. Remember and this may have gone up; a physician hit by the DEA must come up with $1,000,000 within 24 hours of charges, and this is never returned it is kept in the DEA where they likely use this to fund further witch hunts on innocent physicians.

I hate to say this but MANY of our disorders (RSD for example) are 88 x worse pain then end stage cancer (McGill research records Canada), and also along with this fact WE DO NOT GET TO DIE of our pain we are forced to live with it.

Scientific research has shown repeatedly that opioids for intractable pain are the safest medications for treating long term pain that is nonmalignant (you won't die from). Statistics also show less divorce, less loss of work and so forth due to opioids.

The side effects we also cry over and I cry too for I do have no time to replace Dr. Famous I am down so low (after 10 months my friends of having put aside medications as he taught us to do) and on so low a dosage that ALL HE DID to prove me the MIRACLE lab rat in his research is forever gone. I will never stabilize again; at best a sympathetic physician may write what I've gotten myself down to NOW, and that will never stabilize me. I am house bound (again), cannot imagine having to travel to a physician (but due to my rare case may have to), and workers compensation literally paid investigators, and attempted to take my life (we have proof) and not even the Judicial court system in the state where my claim is out of can do a thing. I won against them in August and still have no panel, and they were told by a Judge to get one within 30 days. So I get my own; easier said then done. I purposely am not sending the worst of my records because under Odumma I am the type of case most physicians are afraid to treat now--if I sent them my old prescriptions they would s*** their shorts and will anyhow--it is amazing I have lived through all I have and had the courage, strength, and ability to write referrals for over 10,000 pain patients world wide including some countries where opioids are NOT allowed--but the few with money were able under my guidance to get a home in another country (England) where I arranged pain management there.

My voice is growing softer by the day. I urge all of you to stand your ground because this is a result of the person you elected in D.C. I predicted the opioid shortages he arranged to DRIVE THE PRICE OF OPIOIDS to 10 x what they were just a few years ago. There were no shortages there was only the DESIRE to raise prices and also write cash incentives to physicians to STOP TREATING chronic illness. Physicians already are being offered huge checks to stop treating chronic illness. You could walk into a physicians office and find suddenly he or she does not want to treat your diabetes with insulin but only diet. If you just happen to die it fits the plan. I am sorry people it is up to all Americans to rid ourselves of this plague for he is behind what those in intractable pain now suffer. He is our worst disease my friends.

Peace

The same thing is always on this page. We can't talk to each other through email or phone or it takes ur info down. How is this page gonna help us when ky doctors suck and act like we are all drug addicts. Well the doctors gave us these meds to give us better life and I was thankful. But I can't ride in a car one way 4 hours to set 3-4 hrs at doctor. How can we really get help or get to a doctor that knows difference in people who need and people who want??? I need some help please

Posters,

You will not with the new 120 mg. morphine equivalent suggestion by the FDA likely get 30's prescribed again. I can die. I have progressed to Central Pain Syndrome so now pain is literally embedded in the cerebral cortex from so many years of suffering and have over 400 legitimate disorders. I am also for the past 5 years being seen in California by Dr. Famous (live in Texas). Due to regulations out there he dumped 30 out of state patients so you know what? No one wants us and we are legitimate.

The DEA is not pushing this FDA rule but because the FDA never did this before all doctors are adhering to it. Anyone here without real problems won't get 1/3 of what they ever were given and if they are just pill heads will get dumped.

If you are addicted you better find a methadone clinic and if no one here knows the routine they will make you come daily but it may save your life.
