Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 46)
Updatedi have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.
My last post doesn't make sense because I wasn't giving my alternate email but I was hinting. They got my hints. They won't post emails or phone numbers and that's can be frustrating but it's probably a good idea. We just have to help each other the best we can on these posts.
Hi I been following this post for several months. I was n a car accident n 1997. Im n terrible pain. Back legs n headaches. I use to go to a place n Lexington ky. For yrs but my doctor died. N the new one was terrible! So I decided to go to another one n Florence ky. They was worse took most meds from me. N I always passed my test. I got tired of injections every month for 6 months. So I quit going. The pain got so bad I turned to the street. I don't want to live like this. I just want pain meds the right way. I got appt n Lexington at a different place I hope they can help me. I don't want to b on street drugs. Any advice
Don't go to street drugs. A 70 year old man was arrested for that because of these problems. I just wrote to my legislator that is on the health and welfare committee telling him there were going to be a lot more illegal street drugs, alcoholics, and overdoses if the KY medical board keeps being so aggressive. The problem is they have already driven away most of the good doctors because they don't want to risk it. I was told several months ago that Florence was a real problem and many, many people called Frankfort. I'm scared of withdrawals and scared of becoming an invalid but I'm trying the pain clinic in Somerset because that's where my doctor went. He's only going to give injections and they don't help me but they are going to try for a new one. I trust him. If that doesn't work, I'm driving to IL. They aren't one of the nine states that came up with these new laws that they admit hurts legitimate pain patients and doctors. It's also going to make illegal use worse. Something has to change but those are my two options for now. They say they don't want patients going through withdrawals and they don't want to lose doctors because we have a shortage now. I think we have to speak out to Frankfort if we want help. I was told it isn't a Federal thing; totally state (depending on the state you're in.)
I don't want to go to streets! But it's hard living n pain n no one can help. Who should i write? How can I help. Illinois is suppose to not have such strict rule ? Maybe i need to travel thererules
Hey im from indiana and my dr is cutting everyone down I need a dr in ky whats the one u no pls
Hi well ladyann said Illinois wasn't one of the states to pass the harsh rules. Wouldn't u b closer there? Theres several n my area, but they want to do injections! Alp the time! I don't think that's good for u either! But what can u do. I have followed my doctors rules for 15 yrs! N my doctor killed himself. N the new one wanted to cut it all n half for no reason! U can tell they r all scared! I think I'm going to write to the show xalled the doctor's
Street drugs aren't going to help you and the results will just add to your pain. The medical board will not help at all and the person you need to write is the State Senator in your district. Go to the KY Legislature page and it has a list that helps you find the Senator for your district. (I also wrote my representative and they tried to help but there wasn't much they could do at the time. Now that they should be in session, we have a better chance.) The feds urged me to do this. The more voices they hear from the legitimate pain patients the better. They had hundreds of people claiming that people were overdosing on pain pills but there was no advocates for those of us who truly need the pills. I understand how they can be abused but with the drug laws there is no reason for the Board to be pulling files from the doctors (which is making them scared even when they are doing nothing wrong), The Board should have more faith in their KASPAR reporting system. Let them pull those and read them everyday. When I was able to work, I worked with a guy who had broken his back and he kept his pain pills on his desk to take when he needed them. That's a good way to overdose and it's hurting the rest of us. I put my pills for the day in a separate bottle so I knew I never took more than allowed because we all know when we hurt we can forget and just want some relief. I have a friend whose brother lives in IL and he also broke his back. He is not having any trouble getting his medication. But I urge you to write your legislator and tell him or her of the legitimate pain and the results that can happen if aren't able to get our medication. Not every doctor is abusing it and not every patient is using them to feel high. We just want some relief from the pain. To the person who asked about the doctors in KY, this is the wrong state to try. I know only one; they will charge outrageous fees, making monthly visits necesary and require expensive diagnostics every year. They may stay in business but I don't see it happening for very long.

There was someone on here who gave me the name of a medical group that serves Western KY and TN. It's down the list somewhere but I'd like to see it again also. If that person is still on here, I hope she will respond. I tried a group with a similar name but it was for Northern KY and the lady who answered the phone said they did have several pain doctors but they are gone now. Hope that person sees this and responds again. Otherwise, I'm going down through this long list to see if I can find it. I wonder what Disability is going to do when we can't find doctors who will see us. I've had so many that tell me I've tried all they have to offer so I'm not a candidate for their services. Praying my appointment in Somerset works out.
I am still on then hunt for a dr to persrcibe me oxcodone ir in Texas hell imam willing to drive i am in Oklahoma 2 weeks a month also ithe norcos only help so much
what is the clinic in lex. please email me and let me know the best one to go to for legit pain.
I know a few in western KY.
The good ones in Lexington, and there were several, have closed their practice. The ones that are left do injections only and you have to have a referral. There is Bosomworth, the one at St. Joe and a couple of others if you look online. I know a bit about all of them. For meds, there is one called something like Central KY Pain Center on Nicholasville Rd. It is across the street and down a bit from Central Baptist (It's not affiliated with Central Baptist) I've posted this before so sorry for those reading it again. They require a referral, monthly drug test, yearly MRI and CAT scan and PT. There is a long wait to see the doctor and they will give no more than five pills per day but if you have the records to prove it and agree to the monthly and yearly guidelines, they will see you. They charge your insurance company more than any place I've ever been. (I don't understand those yearly requirements) To Cindy; who do you know in Western KY?
Hi LadyAnn- there are two good ones in Henderson, both at the same place. They are in Methodist Hospital. Names are Sanapati and Rashada. I'm sure you need a referral.
The referral is not a problem. Thank you very much.
I know a place very close. Call me when you get a chance. {edited for privacy}.
