Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 4)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

A Lot of physicians (but the ones in south Fl), don't like to write Rx's for 30mg oxycodone because MOST, I did NOT say all, shoot them up..........OMG no surprise! Plus they are NOT A LONG ACTING MEDICATION, they are SHORT acting, same as lortab, percocet so on. Sounds to me like most of the ppl on here would benefit more from a long acting opiate, as to oxycodone,( a short acting opiate) although this is just an opinion, and some may need no pain meds, it may be they are getting them JUST TO GET HIGH! Which is so sad,because when you REALLY NEED THEM, they aren't going to work, or not very good, and you CAN NOT SHOOT THEM UP IN THE HOSPITAL! GOOD LUCK, AND MAY GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU & your family.

I am curious if any of the folks on here would be interested in a peer group support system in dealing with chronic pain. This isn't about any of the people that want to slam people with legitimate physical issues that have changed their lives, a little or alot. I am not talking about seeking drugs here, just moral support, feedback and understanding from someone else that knows what you are going through when you have to totally redefine who you are because of a work related or some other injury or illness. This isn't about feeding anyone's drug addiction or anger. Just maybe working through some anger or addiction issues that may have developed as a result of life changing experiences that sometimes go hand in hand with living with chronic pain. It can happend to anyone, especially if you are employed in a physically demanding or high risk job. Remember, before you judge, "But for the grace of God, there go I".

I have/had MRSA and Narcotizing Fasciitis, both are flesh eating disease's. I had 9 surguries cutting out my insides it was eating, was on life support for 2 months, and was supposed to have died 4 times. Most of my right side is cut out! It's been HELL! Among other things, but the first is plenty enough!!

Sorry to hear that, sounds rough. Everywhere we look someone else is in worse shape when we can get outside of ourselves....

Nicely said.I am not addicted but stay in pain.I am only on 5mg.percocet,sure hope my orthopedic Doc.puts me on something a bit stronger.

Hi Folks,
Has anyone here had the procedure or know someone that has had Radiofrequency Lesioning performed? Did it help? Would you do it again? Sounds like it makes sense but the potential risks listed are alarming to me considering paralysis, permanent numbness, increased pain and death are all listed, when my experience shows that oral medication has given me acceptable relief. However; precribing pills doesn't provide the same amount of income to the Dr. as performing this procedure would. Forgive me if I offend anyone here but that is a matter of fact that it happens. One Dr. told me in the begining that spinal fusion was not a good option for me and yet another would lay me down asap and start the first of a series of procedures.... One Dr. says my spinal cord is pinched too bad to risk his method of injections while another acts like it is not a big deal at all. Mind you though that the release forms that require my signature would relieve Dr. of liability for such a disaster...

What's really the matter B, YOU CAN'T handle people telling the TRUTH!?!?! Yeah I know most people on opiates don't like to tell the truth too often. Seems easier for most to lie, than it is for them to tell the truth. It's a shame too that grown ass adults feel they need to be liars, to the physicians as well as everyone else. The truth is ALWAYS BEST, as I just got another months supply on both my pain meds, because my physician, knows that I will tell her the truth.....no MATTER WHAT the out come could be. It does make a difference, and matter to them. I have ALAWAYS been able to do this, for the last 6 years, ALL BECAUSE I CHOSE TO BE HONEST!!!

HEy you, im from pa too and my doctor got caught giving a girl a script for sexual favors. I mean i had been with him for 4 years. The guy did have his wife just leave him take half his money a year ago. And he f***ed up. he wrote her something for a sexual favor, she gets in trouble for some other s*** and sets him up! now how is that any patients fault? i want the lady on her knees. And i have all my records and mris.... but they see his name and as you say deny me before they open my records! its like damn i seen other drs before him that ordered mri's....... why should we suffer for a doctors poor action! thats such bs! i dont know what part of pa your from i put my email on here but they took it off so lets try and find a good dr together! pa has to have one who will look at us as a person and not our past dr! let me know where about in pa dnt have to be specific if you want me im north of pitt

ughhhhhhh!!!!!!!! u people are all raging f***ing addicts!!! I know, i have been there, and i feel sorry for ALL of you....i have been clean for almost 2 years and at least back when i was prescribed meds, you went to your primary care physician, and you got them, none of this pain management bulls***...i would never list every damn thing that is wrong with me on a website to strangers...being of clear body & mind, i read your posts and see one big pissing contest of who is in the worst pain and who has the most wrong with their bodies...also, I can NOT believe so many doctors Rx opiates and benzos both....that is absolutely criminal and very dangerous...oh, and if you are one of the "lucky hooked up" "pain" patients who are sucking down your percs, oxies, opana, vicodin, norcos, lortabs, what freakin ever, I hope to hell you are not drinking on top of it, cause u will be dead soon...or maybe that is what you want...no wonder so many physicians are being black balled...it really has gotten bad...people talking to strangers and giving out private information regarding physicians, locations, meds, is all a violation of the 1996 HIPPA Act.......at least admit you need them because u are addicted...opiates do not help your pain, they mask it....ASK YOUR DOCTORS FOR SUBOXONE instead and save your lives and most of all, your self respect...it's a better way....tough love from one recovering addict (who still suffers with pain but has found alternate ways of dealing with it, and they work and i don't have to worry about wanting to put a bullet in my brain when i am ready to run out too soon....) good luck.....suboxone....not methadone, screw that crap, that was not even a consideration for me....it's the junkies "make believe" i am doing better now cause i am not booting dope....methadone needs to be abolished....trust me, suboxone....helps for pain as well and chronic pain suffers are dosed appropriately for pain, and addicts getting clean are dosed accordingly as well....slow wean....much easier IF you have insurance that covers it...yes, sometimes the cure can be worse than the disease, speaking from the wallet, of course...but u can't put a price on sanity and not being afraid to wake up anymore....the planning, the worrying, the anxiety, the lying....it's physically & mentally exhausting and kills u....it can be done....suboxone...not subutex either, screw that crap, suboxone, the original, the name brand....u can get it in sublingual tablet or film...if u opt for the film, in many many cases u can get it for free thru the manufacturer...Suboxone.com/patients/about_suboxone/copay.aspx.....

hey Dan, I live 5 minutes north of pittsburgh. I know it is horrible. get a hold of me heyucmeat live dotcom. I am in serious need I am running low on what medicine and am so scared. I have 6 people that i am responsible for, i am not even able to function mentally this is just terrifying me to death. I can not get up and walk in the morning to get my kids to school I drive them and they are young . My ankle is messed up i let the operate on it and they THEY messed up my ankle failed. Now I can not even walk on it. So now I am getting well you need to be weened off this medication and go thru occupational and physical therapy. They told me that medication is not the answer to pain. Blows my mind what am I like super woman. I am so afraid to go thru another surgery and they dont care. I just really dont get it. Then I tried one of the paid service thing I guess if I have like 700 out of pocket I could go thru them, but why I am already disabled with medical why I can not use it is beyond me. Medical is just a paper trail they use against you, I hate this I never asked to live in pain like this and I found a dr. that gave me the cpapbility to function and now this. Im sorry for being so long just very scared and very frustreated..
please help me.
