Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 11) (Top voted first)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

yea, me too. Ive been lookin for a dr. to and dont know where to look. i live in Kentucky. if that tells u anything. i need to find me a good dr. does anyone know a dr. who will perscribe anything but loricets, or loritab? Ive taken roxicets in the past and they seemed to help!

I live in northern Ky and my clinic was just shut down...desprate to find a new pain management clinic before my meds run out...need one that will prescribe oxycodone 30's ~ PLEEEZZZE HELP!!!!

Hi Im new on here and was seeing a dr in winchester and they got closed down...i have numerous prior breaks in my back and now after 22 years am in agonizing pain...i was in a serious head on collision due to a drunk driver and had 37 breaks..was in a coma for 6mths...i have been being treated for pain mgmnt with 6 oxycodone 15s a day...just need help finding another dr to write my same meds including my 90 aloprazams a month...somewhere in or near to lexingon...can someone please help.....for I am desperatley suffering...thank you.

Hello, I need help finding a pain doctor. I went to one recently after being referred by my family Doctor and 2 specialists and he talked to me for 2 minutes and looked at the fact that last year I had narcotics prescribed 4 times by different doctors (I spent two months with kidney stones and I saw my family doc, urologist and two trips to the er) and said I did not need his help. He did not even see all of my tests, my doc had only sent half, I assume accidentily. I live in the area were all of the pill mills were shut down in Southern Ohio, so doctors are being overly cautious. It seems that means that people who are in extreme are less important than stopping drug users. Can anyone recommend a doctor in the Southern Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia area. I can handle a drive of a could of hours but not to much more. I am willing to try any therapy they want, and injections anything to give me a quality of life, or just let me walk down to the bus stop to pick up my kid! I just need a doctor who is willing to help me, not just assume I am a drug seeker and send me away. I have never tried an illegal drug in my life, I do not drink, and I certainly do not abuse pain killers. I just happened to be saddled with a painful condition that has taken over my life. Thanks for any help.

well where do you live brother i am in pa i travel so i need from pa to florida to tennesse i mean i want to find atleast a good dr for me my brother and father so we can stock up, these guys are right they are trying to cut us off completely .brother please hook me up with all the drs you can i have crohns disease and live in pa but travel doing construction also have mri/\,s with degenerative disc disease!

I have been a pain management patient since my injury onset in September of 2000. I lived in Indiana at the time of my injury and was able to eventually get the pain under control to have a reasonable amount of relief most of the time. Since I got my Worker's Comp. and Social Security settlement and moving to Ky in 2005 I feel like I have had to start all over proving my case to Dr.'s that seem intimidated by the prescription drug problem in this state. I started taking Opiate medication June, 29 2001 while living in Indiana. Since I have lived here in Central Ky. just south of Lexington, my meds have been reduced to about half of what had helped me function in 2001. I am struggling to take care of myself and maintain a decent quality of life. My home is in need of repair and my hobbies are a thing of the past. I have MRI films showing the 4 buldging discs in my neck and the 3 in my lumbar spine as well as narrowing of my spinal canal. Depression has set in and I know that is making the pain worse as well. My case was proven to Ford Motors, Indiana Worker's Compensation, The Social Security Administration and my initial doctors had no problem recommending that I take medication to IMPROVE the quality of my life. Any recomendations to a physician or clinic that will take a new patient and is actually concerned in improving the quality of my life. I understand the epidemic but I didn't create it, am not a part of it and just need to take care of myself and my home. I am open to any drug test at any time and random pill count or whatever it takes to gain the trust of a qualified physician that still cares about human suffering. Just doesn't seem right that a politician or even physician is to determine what level of pain I am to endure... Any help or productive suggestions are welcomed. Also, I would like to start some sort of Peer Group Support System with people that have any of these issues in their lives.

I need help finding a doctor I am running out of medicine and I live in pa and i am getting told to go to another pain clinic the pain clinics in pittsburgh dont believe in writing oxy 30 its horrible and wont even take me as a patient cause thats what my docotor had me on. I mean i am not asking them for anything and they wont even listen to me I never said will you wirte me, they look at my problem there like ya that looks like that is painful but we cant help you. please if you can help me {edited for privacy}.

A Lot of physicians (but the ones in south Fl), don't like to write Rx's for 30mg oxycodone because MOST, I did NOT say all, shoot them up..........OMG no surprise! Plus they are NOT A LONG ACTING MEDICATION, they are SHORT acting, same as lortab, percocet so on. Sounds to me like most of the ppl on here would benefit more from a long acting opiate, as to oxycodone,( a short acting opiate) although this is just an opinion, and some may need no pain meds, it may be they are getting them JUST TO GET HIGH! Which is so sad,because when you REALLY NEED THEM, they aren't going to work, or not very good, and you CAN NOT SHOOT THEM UP IN THE HOSPITAL!

I am curious if any of the folks on here would be interested in a peer group support system in dealing with chronic pain. This isn't about any of the people that want to slam people with legitimate physical issues that have changed their lives, a little or alot. I am not talking about seeking drugs here, just moral support, feedback and understanding from someone else that knows what you are going through when you have to totally redefine who you are because of a work related or some other injury or illness. This isn't about feeding anyone's drug addiction or anger. Just maybe working through some anger or addiction issues that may have developed as a result of life changing experiences that sometimes go hand in hand with living with chronic pain. It can happend to anyone, especially if you are employed in a physically demanding or high risk job. Remember, before you judge, "But for the grace of God, there go I".

I have/had MRSA and Narcotizing Fasciitis, both are flesh eating disease's. I had 9 surguries cutting out my insides it was eating, was on life support for 2 months, and was supposed to have died 4 times. Most of my right side is cut out! It's been HELL! Among other things, but the first is plenty enough!!
