Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 10)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

Chrissy yes methadone works a lot better for my neuropathy . I was getting 5 point trigger injections with percocet for 4 years. I then was put Duragesic or Fentnyl patches which worked good minimum side effects but always have to worry about patches coming off or sweat and get a high dose at once and then a lot of neurontin 300mg 3 x's a day!! When I was put methadone I didn't have as much break through pain and got to stop injections even though I was on lower dosage of methadone than my other medications. Then my doctor up and left went to Germany and the doctor that replaced him only prescribes tramadol and neourontin. It's true to that it's cheaper I had to pay $350 a month for patches not counting everything else. I hope that helps Chrissy it does work well for me as compared to all other things they did. Chrissy I went on and on but wanted yes Ky has gotten rediculous and think that all patients are seekers. I had a good relationship with my old doctor so I just explained to him that the percocets etc. helped but didn't give me continuous relief because I would always be right back in severe pain and would have another 3 to 4 hours before my next dose was due. When he put me on Duragesic it worked well but after years of being on same medication I was worried about going up and up until there would be no more to go up! So I set and told him I had done my research that more and more people found relief with methadone luckily I had a good doctor that listened and knew me. I'm not sure these days that there is a doctor left with all the intensity of getting into trouble I don't know if just talking to them straight up would work telling them that your neurontin and loritab help but just does not provide long term relief although we all know you will still have pain just not continuous. If I'm fortunate enough to get a good doctor will tell you where to go sorry to go on and hope some of this helps.

@kycarol I really appreciate you taking the time out to write back to me about what your going thru. It's just nice to find someone who has the same disease and knows what I'm going thru. so def let me know how the dr. willow (thanks willow) referred u to works out. I'm just tired of trying all these medications that don't work just because dr.s have to proscribe them first. Tramadol didn't do shot for me either. So then they gave me nucynta, telling me this is a new drug and it will work and it's the same as morphine. That gave me severe headaches. They just want those extra perks for selling there new drugs to there patients when the old drugs work just fine with way less side effects. Hope to hear from u soon and thanks for listening.

The Richmond clinic gave me the dones I wanted but cut me WAY back from 180 to 112. So I ended up running out. I am looking around again for a dr. who might put me back up to 180. The Dry Ridge clinic was closed down when I drove up there to hopefully get my MRI that BG MRI took 3 weeks ago. I managed to get the MRI and consider myself lucky that I got it. Wonder if they were shut down and where their patients are being re-routed to?

@willow. Im glad to hear that things went well for you in Richmond. i had a couple deaths in my family & havent been online for a while. its gonna be tough to find a Dr to give you 180 anymore. Too much beaurocratic bullshiz around here. My Dr retired but left me in pretty good hands.Just wanted to say glad ya found somebody to help ya out. The new hot spot seems to be Tennessee but I for one aint willin to make that trip every month. I highly recommend you try to get in to see Dr Noe in H-burg. I know you said he wasnt taking patients when you tried before but keep trying. It will be well worth it for you. He writes up to 240 of the dones. Good luck. Let me know if you need anything as Im somewhat of an expert in this field. Lol.

I have a question for ya KYBOY, I've been going to PM for two years, was on tabs for five years before that after an accident that left me needing a knee replacement but had no insurance then (not a car accident, I fell down a cliff at the lake) I now have insurance but they won't touch my knee because I'm "too young" (41!) I also have two bulging disks in my neck and DDD in my back, my PM Dr has had me on
Perc 10/325 4 times a day, they help but not as well as they should, what can I possibly say to get him to switch me to either Roxy, or something like it, I don't even care if it's Oxy's as long as I can get some relief, I've been trying but he keeps telling me "maybe next month" any advice??

@KyBoy. Thanks for writing back. Sorry about your family. I've had 2 close friends hang themselves in the past couple of weeks, so am counting my blessings. The 112 the Richmond Dr wrote me weren't enough and I ran out. I am going to call Monday and try Dr. N again. I am going to ask the Richmond Dr to bump me up more but I'm betting he won't. He commented that I was getting WAY too much when he wrote the 112 last month. So I'll see what happens with him on Tuesday, but am still gonna try until I get in to Dr. N. If I can get 180 /month, that's all I need. I'm good to go. Sometimes I have to put in a 12 hour day and I need the 180, not some measly s*** like 112. I'll let ya know what happens. robert just reading your post and i was driving 12hrs for my meds and cry every time i go im in a wheel chair but can walk long as its not over 20 to 30 min then i have to take my chair if you can please help me by giving me the name or number of your dr i would greatly appreciate it i am 50yrs old and have a bone disease the pain is chronic thk you and GOD BLESS

@kygirl. About the only thing I can think of for you to do is tell the Dr that you been havin stomach problems & you've read on the internet that all the tylenol in your meds is probably the problem. This causes a prob for lots of pain pts. My Dr wouldn't dream of writing me anything with tylenol in it. Hope this helps ya. I ain't a Dr but I play one on TV ya know.

Well I went to my appt in Richmond today. This was my 2nd appt. He would not up my dosage. I ran out since I only had 112 and had to pay street price of $15/pill. If I hadn't had any in my system, he would have dismissed me. So time to call Dr. N and do my BEST to get in to see him, especially from what all you told me.

Yes, I am interested in trying to locate a doctor. I live in pa, here i only get 180 roxi 30s, 90 xanax 2mg, and 30 100mcg fentanyl patches a month (2 every 2 days). I used to go to broward pain center and rehab and got a lot more oxycodone which works best, my number is 215xxxxxxx {edited for privacy} i would like anyhelp i can get if you can give me some information on a doctor that could help me. (2 car accidents, spinal stenosis, rsds, cyst growing on l3-l4, protruding thoracic disc in t1-t2) anyhelp will be greatly appreciated

@willow. Sorry to hear that they won't increase ya dosage. Yea do your best to get into good ole Dr N. He'll do better for ya than anybody else I know of. I know of another one that's been hookin people up on the dones lately. If ya don't have any luck with Dr N let me know and I'll help ya out. I wish we could talk in a private way. There's a lot I could tell ya but not in this setting. I believe you're looking for help for the right reasons so I will do all I can do to help ya out. Have a good wkend Willow.
