No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I have used lots of op 40, 60, and 80s and we all know they are chewy and are hard to abuse. Well it's been awhile since I had a real oc 80 and I can't remember what they taste like. Are the chewable? The ones I cam across say oc on one side and 80 on the other. They are a greenish color. Are they real or fake? ## That is the correct color and marking of the genuine Oxycontin 80mg tablet. Hospitals and pharmacies are allowed to continue to dispense them, until their supply is exhausted, at which time they will also be forced to switch to the new formulation. On top of that, with all the diversion that occurred due to theft, I am sure they will still be found on the streets for a long time to come. Are there any other comments or questions?

Well I came across some oc 80's and it's been so long that I don't remember what they taste like or if they are easily chewable or what they taste like. They are green round and say 80 on one side and oc on the other. The look just like the op except they say oc instead of op. Are they real or fakes. They honesty look real burin not sure. Thank you very much- Ashley ## My advise is to be very grateful and stretch them out as long as you can. ## There are still some of the original Oxycontin tablets on the market, especily if you aren'...
I am disabled with several ruptured disks and degenerative bone disease, not to mention arthritis! I am taking oxycodone, generic I think, called roxycodone. I need it for the pain but it makes me dizzy and nauseous so bad that I just dread taking it sometimes. Can anyone tell me if there's any foods that you can eat when you take it that will help? ## Have you been taking it with a meal or on any empty stomach? Sometimes, this can make a huge difference, as food can help keep it from irritating the stomach. Some items that may help could be bread, crackers, yogurt, milk or starchy foods, like rice. For the dizziness, try laying down for am hour or so, after you first take it and always make sure that when you sit up or stand up, to do it slowly. The nausea can also occur if you hav...
yellow round tablet with 40 on one side and OP on the other ## found on floor ## This is a new version of Oxycontin, manufactured to help prevent abuse, it is called Oxycontin OP. These new pills still indicate the dosage, this one is 40mgs, but if you try to abuse them by crushing, they will not release the dosage all at once, instead they retain their time release nature. Side effects remain the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Are there any other questions? ## this is the new Oxycontin OP 40mg. Unlike the regular Oxycontin, if you try to crush or chew this one, it doesn't make a difference, it is specially designed to keep it's time released properties, but still work the same. Side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth
jst wanting to know wat type of pill this might be..my research shows me its a oxy 30 brown oc and blank in the back ## No, the Oxycontin with the marking has OC on one side and the number designating the dosage on the other side. So, it would be OC 30. The new Oxycontin formulation has OP and 30 on the other. The imprint is also embossed, into the tablet, so it isn't something that would rub off. I haven't found anything with a marking of just OC, yet, but I will keep looking. There is always the possibility that its a foreign medication. Does anyone else have any comments or questions?
are all the oxycotins being changed to the op brands or just the 80mg ## They all are, the original Oxycontin is being phased out. The new Oxycontin OP is specifically designed to help prevent abuse, even if you try to crush or chew it, it will retain its time released properties. Otherwise, it still works the same and has the same side effects: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: IS there anything else I can help you with? ## They do not give the same pain relief, an aspirin will give you more pain relief, but they eat holes in your stomach. They took the best pain reliever on the market, and replaced it with the most expensive, and worst pain reliever on thee market.
how are you able to crush the new oxycontin 10mg tablets ## You can't. The new Oxycontin OP has been specially designed to prevent this type of use. IF you try to crush or chew the pill, it turns into a gummy substance that retains its time released properties. Side effects, however, as supposed to be the same and may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Read more: Are there any comments or questions?
I was taking oxycontin 60mg per day almost every day for a few months. I have not taken anything at all in two weeks. For the past week I have been running and drinking a lot of water. I tested myself at home with a home kit and oxy still showed up positive. I only have four days left. I talked to pharmacists and even they told me they dont understand how it is still in my body; What do I do?! ## The length of time it can take to process out of the body can vary from person to person, it can also be affect by how much you took and for how long. Your own body metabolism plays a role. For most people, though, it is processed out in several days, so I am afraid I don't have any advice for you, other than to continue what you are doing. What is the test for? ## taking roxicet IV....... ...
I found a little yellow pill with the imprints TCL 224 on it in my sons room. I would like to know what it is. I asked one of my friends and he said it was a generic oxycontin 40 mg. I looked it up and couldn't find anything on it. Thanks. ## Sorry it has 242 on it not 224 ## I can't find a listing for this, but I am sure that's because it is made by TimeCaps Labs and they make mostly over the counter products, such as generics or store brands of Tylenol, Advil, cold remedies and etc. They make very few prescription drug products and none of those are controlled substances, such as Oxycodone, so it can't be that. There is a pill marked 224 that contains Oxycodone, but it doesn't have the TCL marking on it, which is probably what confused your friend. I'd suggest ...
looking for the generic oxycotin, because the other make me sick and i'am dealing with so much pain ## were are oxycontin in michigan i have look everywhere ## There is currently no generic Oxycontin available on the U.S. market. Even the ones provided by Ethex Pharmaceuticals are the actual name brand, manufactured by Purdue Pharma, they are just licensed distributors. I am very sorry that you are having a problem with them. There have been many complaints that they do not work as well as the original product and that they cause odd side effects. Have you tried contacting your doctor to see if you can use an alternative medication? I also suggest reporting the problem to both Purdue and the FDA at the following numbers: Purdue Pharma number for drug safety/medication issues: 888.72...
its oval light green supposse to be generic oxycontin ## First, I would like to let you know that there is no generic for Oxycontin that is available in the U.S. All Oxycontin tablets are manufactured by Purdue Pharma and distributed by them or Ethex Pharmaceuticals. They all have an OP on one side and a number designating the dosage on the other. That said, I can't find any listing for an oval, green tablet with this marking, or anything similar, in the U.S. prescription drug databases. Do you know if it's from the U.S. or elsewhere?
I was curious as to what effects everyone is experiencing from these new OP's? I know what I'm feeling and thought I was crazy, but here and there I am noticing complaints of stomach problems and such. So I just want to hear what's going on with everyone so when I go back for my RX I can tell my doc that I'm not the only one having issues. ## Unfortunately, there have been many complaints about the new Oxycontin OP either not working as well as the original or its causing odd side effects, so you are definitely not alone. Here are a few links to some other posts on our site with these types of complaints: And those are just a few of the discussions going on, there are many more if you search our site. If you have been having problems with the medication, along with repor...
is oxycontin oc still available through any other maker ## No! The only company that makes it is Purdue Pharma and they have discontinued the original product and now only manufacture the new formulation, Oxycontin OP. 30 mg ms - ?g ## I would like to know if vicodin 750 can help reduce oxy 30 withdrawl symptoms ## That would help with the withdrawls but it's basically the same thing just a lower dosage. If you take a vicodin it will ease the symptoms ## yes
wiped the blue off an 80 and swallowed will it take the pain away annd will I het a buzz? ## Wiping off the blue coating has no effect on the time released mechanism, because it is incorporated throughout the tablets and is not controlled by the coating. Therefore, no, though it may still help with your pain. Oxycontin contains the active ingredient Oxycodone, which is a potent narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any comments or questions?
I've seen several websights selling what they say is Oxycodone, are they generic or what? Most if not all are in some other country. ## Oxycontin is oxycotin, there is NO generic. Believe me I have asked many pharmacy's. The new ones, thanks to our junkies out there, don't work! Now I get to be in pain 24/7. And please don't reply about subsititues, I have liver disease so I am very limited to any other drugs out there. Unless they go back (and they don't intend to) this is what we have been dealt. ## Check again Wtran1.....the real thing is still out there only sold by Ethex Pharm. As far as I could find out they are still in business. ## As to foreign pharmacies, yes. they can have a generic. The U.S. cannot enforce proprietary patents outside of our borders, so co...

OC ONE SIDE OTHER 80 GREEN ROUND PILL ## I can't post a picture for you, due to copyright reasons, however, I can confirm that a pill meeting this description, with those markings is an 80mg Oxycontin tablet. This is the original Oxycontin product. Oxycontin is a narcotic pain reliever, so common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Are there any questions or comments?
