No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous. My husband and I are having a debate...I take 80mg of oxycontin SR three times daily. Does my narcotic blood level stay at a steady 80mg or 240mg daily? ## Well, it isn't going to say at any 'steady' level, because it's always going to vary somewhat, due to activity, fluid intake, what you eat and etc. But since the doses are split you essentially always have some processing out, when you're adding more, so you'd be looking at close to the 80mgs. Learn more Oxycontin details here. Are there any other questions I can help with? ## Hi Verity, I don't know how much help this will be to your debate, but from what I could gather, the apparent elimination half-life of oxycodone following the administration of OxyContin was 4.5 hours compared to 3.2 hours for immedi...
I have read high tolerance posts before. But honestly none compare to my tolerance. At the height of my addiction I was taking 15 oxy 30's, 3 times a day. Well now, when I occasionally use, not even 30 oxy 30's get me high. That is almost 1000 mgs at a time. This has made physicians specializing in addiction fall out of their seat. It seems like nothing will release a large amount of dopamine anymore. I have studied this greatly and it seems like the only thing that I can do is not use for one full year. Even then, it will only take a handful of times before my tolerance reaches this again. My question is this: Would any amount of Heroin cause euphoria with this high of a tolerance? Or are my days of euphoric feelings over? I have never heard of someone not being able to release...
its a white round pill kinda thick with 10 one side of it and withe letters ON on the the other..help because i tried to smoke some and then it turned black and was harsh on the throat and i inhaled 3 times and notsur eif this actual oxy ten in canada. some lady who i buy off from has sold me 4 and i needed for my withdrawal ## The name brand 10mg Oxycontin in Canada has a CDN on one side and the number 10 on the other side, it is a round, white tablet. Is the marking on them possibly CDN? You should be informed, however, that it is very dangerous to try to use any tablets in this manner. They contain fillers, especially the time released medications and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled as waste. If you use them in this manne...
I have heard that there is a new WHITE pill out that has "cdn" on one side and an "8" and a line on the other?? ## From what I could gather, there doesn't appear to be any information available on CDN 8, but there is a white round pill marked "CDN 10", identified as OxyContin (Oxycodone Controlled Release) 10 mg. Manufacturer: Purdue, Canada Perhaps they are from the same manufacturer if you're based in Canada?
I have a script and have been on the medication for years. I cannot find it in the orlando area and I never misuse the medication ## You're definitely not alone, as it seems like everyone in Florida is having complications trying to fill their pain management scripts, no matter the dosage. I think it could possibly be due to drug shortages or maybe even just a mere reluctance to prescribe it in an area that is so abundant with addicts. As others have stated, people who have been misusing and abusing the medications are apparently ruining it for those who don't. Have you considered trying any legitimate online pharmacies? ## Is that legal? Is there a place that I mail my script too? I am disabled and I do not drive anymore so this is very challenging. Thanks for your help. Is thi...
Thanks in advance to anyone who can advise me regarding safe, home detox! Finally had my last spinal surgery, two months ago. Have been on strong narcotics for many years now, and really want to be free from all the mind/mood altering substances! Insurance will not cover rehab, so I am really hoping for some realistic, educated advice. I'm on many different medications, but the ones I am specifically concerned about are: oxycontin 240 mgs. p/day, oxycodone 30 mgs. p/day, hydromorphone 48 mg. p/day, soma (these I abuse @ a rough estimate of 350 mgs.x 10-20 per/day), ambien 10 mg. p/day, and xanax 1 mg. p/day. Yes, believe it or not, (except for the soma), one doctor has prescribed all these meds to me, on a monthly basis, for the last six years! As you can imagine, my tolerance is ex...
I hope everyone will reply to my post. I 'am like thousand of good people who live in pain every minute of the day. And now since Purdue the makers of Oxycontin has reformulated the OC to OP we all suffer. I like all has called Purdue with my concerns not only a complaint on how this new Oxycontin does not work and its side effects. What I will do if I have enough people to respond is to set up a FACEBOOK page were people can add his or her story about how the OP do not work, what side affects he or she is having. Also where everyone can boycott any medication that Purdue sells. When at the Pharmacy ask the Pharmacist to give you another brand of medication not one made by Purdue. Trust me there are many other drug companies who make the same day to day medication we take. From bloo...
Purdue Pharma website has official statement on reformulation of Oxycontin. They claim there is no difference in effectiveness between old OC and new OP labeled pills. They quote The reformulation has met FDA criteria for bioequivalence to the original formulation, which means there is no significant difference in the rate and extent of absorption of the therapeutic ingredient. Then they go on to say, Purdue elected to reformulate OxyContin® to be bioequivalent to the original formulation and in an effort to make the tablet more difficult to manipulate for the purpose of intentional misuse and abuse, however, there is no evidence that the reformulation of OxyContin is less subject to misuse, abuse, diversion, overdose or addiction. I take 80mg 4/day. (or should say used to take) No...
They are generic oxy's ## Hi Biff, Are these pills manufactured in Canada by chance? I can't seem to find any specific details on them here in the US, so I can only assume that that may be the case. I know Purdue Pharma manufactures round green pills imprinted with OC on one side & 80 on the other side; which are 80mg Oxycontin tablets. But this is the closest match I can find to your description. If you have any more details to share that would be great. Thanks! ## those are apo ocd 80mg bro. those are pretty much the same as the old oxys. its the generics man there whip. i hope i see htem soon to your lucky
can you shot it or sniff it ## has anyone found a sure way to break op/ oxys for injection ## no u can't that is the reason they started making them but i'm sure sum1 will figure out a way ## That is correct, even if you try to crush, chew or dissolve them, they turn into a piece of goo, so it retains its time released properties. However, it still contains the same narcotic and can cause the same side effects: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have any questions? ## yes yhere is a way google how to break down a oxycontin op you will see the forum there its not that hard and it works i have done it 20 times now you jus have to take your time ## this is how you shoot the op In the same situation . I used up all my oxycodonnes and only have OPs left. Plus havi...
Are there generic oxycontin's and if so are they using the same new formula? ## No! There is no longer a generic version available. These were taken off the market a few years ago, due to the frequent abuse and diversion of the narcotic and all are now made ONLY by Purdue Pharma, so you have to use their formulation. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more: Do you have any other questions? ## There now is a generic Opana available. Info tried sueing but lost as they were trying to corner the market. They also are crushable. 2013 looking good! ## I believe it is stupid coments like saying they are crushable is what does not helpus people who are using this pain meds for pain relief. Whether they are crushable is not the isue And if people are ...
{edited for safety reasons} Once completed your ready to go...once on syringe it should look just like smack (brown)...I've never shot anything up but I have seen someone do this with my own two eyes and it worked...how healthy is it for u? I don't know but what's it matter ...cuz chances are if your shooting up anyways lol it doesn't matter as long as it works and it does! ## Injecting medications that have not been specially formulated to use in this manner is a very dangerous practice. Tablets contain fillers and not all of them are intended to be used and broken down by the human body. Some of them are substances that are normally just expelled in your waste. When you break down a tablet and inject it, you are putting these substances directly into your body, in plac...

My Husband had Wrist Surgey11-12-2012,He has been on Oxcotton every since the Surgey,But he has been drinking Bee,rWine,Liquor,Everyday and I'm always telling him about the Alcohol, but he always says I'm 60yrs,and grown.Everyday it is one are the other, ## I understand your concern, but he is right, the final decision is up to him and there isn't much you can do to stop him. Alcohol can intensify the risks associated with Oxycontin, such as increased side effects, higher possibility of CNS depression and liver damage, but if he is aware of that and knowing takes the risk anyway, it's entirely up to him. Learn more Oxycontin details here. No one wants to see anyone we love putting themselves in danger, but it's the same as if you see someone special smoking, you can o...
I can't find a decent pain Dr.to give me enough pain med, to kill my pain or give me Oxycontin or psychiatrist that will give me Dexedrine in St.Louis mo.. It's really frustrating not to find or get what you need. My Dr. asked me why I needed Dexedrine to concentrate since I don't work. Who in the hell doesn't want to be able to concentrate? ## Lol, I definitely see your frustration with these doctors. Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for...
Please im really in pain here the oxyneo makes me sick. Someone should call purdue 18003874501 maybe if enough people call they might do something thanks ## Hi jessica, Sorry to hear about the intense pain you're having to cope with. If it's of any help, you can also try contacting Purdue Pharma, via the link below: purduepharma.com/contact Additionally, these types of situations can even be reported to the FDA, via their MedWatch Program at: fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/default.htm Hope this helps!
Okay so first off I would just like to state that I am 6'2 179 Pounds and in good health. Next I would like to say that I took 4 Oxycodone 5/325 in one sitting maybe 3 weeks back and quit using the medication because my tolerance grew so fast. So now I have this 60 Mg oxycontin tablet that I obtained and I was just curious how it will effect me compared to the oxycodone as far as the time release. Also how many mg should I take to get a good euphoric buzz with out the feeling of throwing up. ## As far as the time-release goes, OxyContin lasts for about 12 hours, but only part of the Oxycodone is released when the pill is taken. The rest of the drug is coated to slow down its release into the body, which is the reason it relieves pain for so many hours. However, there's really no...
I've seen in some social networks Pharexpress show pictures of a Oxycontin tablet with imprint EX 40, EX 20 and EX 10. The 40s are yellow, 20s are pink and 10s white. What I wanted to ask was if these are the same as the old OC Oxycontin formula or is it the new formula? On the networks they mention they are the old formula but, I haven't read it or seen it any where else. Nor seen these EXs in the first place. Never the less I wanted to check if anyone knew or can confirm if these are Old formula OCs. On the social network it shows the bottle and everything that come from south america. ## When I got pills I did not recognize from my drug store I took them back and they said that the pharmacist had made an error and filled my shorter acting form of the drug. You are sharp to pi...
My mother in law has cancer and will die from it, the cancer has been eating at her bones, the doctor has prescribed her the Oxycontin 20mg but her insurance does not cover it and the pharmacy wants $300 for 2.5 days or I guess pills, that's crazy. Until she gets approved for Medicaid we need to find some cheaper place to fill a prescription for it. Does anyone know where we could buy it cheaper with the prescription? ## Actually, what I'd suggest is asking about getting MS Contin prescribed for her, instead of the Oxycontin. It's a time released formulation of Morphine, but it is available as a generic, so it's much cheaper, even if her insurance doesn't cover it. Learn more Morphine details here. I used to be on it and it wasn't even $100 for the entire month s...

Just input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; as some aren't, but most usually are. I hope this info helps and wish you good luck on finding the right doctor!
