I GOT A OXY WITH P ON ONE SIDE AND 80 ON THE OTHER SIDE IS THIS A FAKE ONE ## From what I could gather, this is more than likely a fake version of the "OP 80" Oxycontin tablet. There appears to be virtually no information to be found on it anywhere online.....other than another person trying to figure out what it was as well. Lol The real Oxycontin (80mg) should also be round in shape and green in color, matching the info below: Manufacturer: Purdue Pharma LP National Drug Code (NDC): 59011-0480 I hope this helps to answer your question! ## Are you in canada? Cuz that could be one of the generic oxy's if you're in canada. If so, then that could very well be the PharmaScience controlled release oxycodone tablets. ## The oxys with a "P" on one side and the 40 or wh...

I just moved to Daytona Beach/Port Orange FL and need to find a reputable doctor who can work with my doctor to make sure I get the medication I have been taking for over 20 years. I suffer from severe, chronic pain due to Fibromyalgia, DDD, chronic migraines, sciatica, COPD, neck and ankle injury and rheumatoid arthritis without my medication I cannot function. I do NOT want to end up at a pill mill as I take my medication and condition very seriously. My doctor will refer me to the right doctor but cannot tell me which one to choose. I take Oxycontin CL and Dilaudid along with other medication I have no problems getting filled. I have a narcotic contract with my current doctor and want to stay on the same meds but need a Florida doctor to write them, working alongside my doctor. I do ...

Oxycontin mixed with acetametaphine 5 mg or 5 mg of oxycodne, or zanax. O ne other point of interest the pill is made by Mylan which is qwritten on one side along with 345. What drug are these? ## THIS IS NOT OXYCODONE NOR ANY TYPE OF NARCOTIC! This is Diazepam 5mgs, a generic for Valium. This is a Benzodiazepine used to slow down the central nervous system to alleviate anxiety and other nervous conditions. ## i believe its a generic brand of xanax my mom takes those ## hi i wanned to know if mylan 345 its same is oxycodon or vics?

Cant aford my prescription so need help ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Purdue Pharma does have an assistance program for those that can't afford their medications. Your doctor needs to request an application for you by calling them at 800-599-6070. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I get sick from pain meds and never taken it before! I'm on oxycodone 10mg immediate release, well my doctor added oxycotin 10mg extended release to it. ## Hello, Lucky! How are you? No, you can't cut or break the Oxycontin tablets. They must be taken whole. These new ones are intended to be tamper proof, to prevent someone abusing them, so it you try to cut or break them, you just end up with a pile of gummy goo that retains all the active ingredient in it and keeps its time released properties. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How are you? Oxycontin is only available as the name brand that is manufactured by Purdue Pharma, it should be a round, red tablet with the OP on one side and 60 on the other. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Just prescribed Oxycontin op 20 for the first time for chronic lower back pain from two bulging disks that are inflamming S1 and causing severe pain. I've been takng hydrocdone 10-325 for the past 5 years or so along with the injecions. I just took my first dose of Oxycontin op 20 and about 10 -15 minutes after ingesting my heart rate increased tremendously and was pounding through my chest. This lasted about 5 minutes then would return with less severity every 10-15 minutes later for about the next hour. Is this normal? Breathing was ok and I never felt I was going to pass out. Very scary after reading the warning pamplet that came with the script. It did help relieve the pain after the initial side effects but leary on taking anymore. ## Hello, Harley! How are you? Are Oxycontin ABG 80 mg.still made? ## Hello, John! How are you? No, the only time released formulation of Oxycontin that is currently available are the name brand tablets manufactured by Purdue Pharma. Due to the increasing theft and diversion of this opiate, the generics were removed from the market several years ago, in order to enable the manufacturer, FDA and DEA to keep better track of the supply. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. My Doctor is afraid to prescribe pain pills even though she's been prescribing them to me for the last twelve years for Chronic Intractable Pain. I have been going through hell. She finally gave me two low dose MS Morphine tablets a day just to shut me up but is very insistent that I find a new doctor even though she has said herself that I will have a problem finding a doctor to take over prescribing my amount of medications. I am going to look in to hiring an attorney and suing for Medical Malpractice but I don't really know if a lawyer would even feel that I have a case. Does anyone have an opinion about this? I am in so much pain. I have not been able to get up from my bed or couch since January that's how bad the pain is. Please tell me what you think? ## Hello, Robin! ...

My PM MD just prescribed Oxycontin 15mg 3x to replace the too-many hydro & oxycodone pills I've been taking for severe back/hip pain. Just saw a UM surgeon who says surgery is not an option; its scoliosis and arthritis. Anyway, I've called over 10 pharmacies, including CVS and Wal-Green 24 hr. locations - and NOBODY has any Oxycontin. Having to call all over the place makes you feel like a degenerate junkie - when you mention the drug the phone goes silent. I'm simply trying to find relief and stop killing my liver! Anyone know why there is such a shortage? ## There is a policy in S. Fl where many pharmacies do NOT stock OXY. They will order it for a patient, and while the first fill may suffer a delay of a few days, thereafter they can reorder it in advance of your refi...

I have Lupus, joint pain, chronic back pain I've just moved to the area and have been being treated prior by a pain management specialist who has me on 15 MG Oxycontin time release and 7.5 MG Percot for break through pain. I need to continue my meds for pain , however with all I've been reading about this area and Texas, (of which I love ), it seems no doctors are prescribing? I need help to find a great pain doctor like I had in my previous state. Can anyone help? Does anyone know how long it take might take if someone has been kick out of a doctors care for violation of contract? To be able to go to another doctor from pain management? ## It's for a friend who violated her contract with a hot UA, positive for meth. It has been 3 yrs. She was seeing a PCP. She wants to start to see a pain management doctor. But she's afraid it will come back to haunt her. Also if the doctors notify the PDMP as well? I have a pain doc that I see monthly, but I'm not going to recommend her if that is in her past. ## Hello, CeRa! How are you? Been seen and treated for over 15 years same doctor with oxycontin and methadon , he relocated and now wants me to go to pain management doctors. Would like to find other primary care doctors that prescribe pain narcotics in Seattle ## Hello, Marc! How are you? Due to the new DEA recommendations that were issued last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist to continue receiving such medications, PCPs will no longer prescribe them, unless its for a patient with intractable pain from a possibly fatal condition, such as stage 4 cancer. They could continue to prescribe them for patients they were already treating, in some cases, but most will not do so for new patients. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming ...

Hey! In all the other threads about the new oxy's -- everyone is stressing the new coatings, it seems. I have found the easiest and most efficient way to get BOTH coatings off is {edited for safety reasons}. Thought y'all would like to know that. ## I called Perdue today and BITCHED! I have been taking the 80's for years at high doses and i just got my script filled and i got 540 of the new ones. I broke out in hives the size of lemons. I called this number 203.588.8000 and told the woman what happened and she transfered me to a nurse in the medical dept. I just asked her what the heck they did to my meds. It's the damn binders they're using that did this to me. She asked my name and address and how many i take at a time and IF i swallow them. I would guess if enough...

The strongest pain killer in pill form is the OXYCONTIN 80mg or the morphine sulphate 150mg.It sounds like you are in agony May i suggest that if you are taking up to ten percs a day then you should be careful and your doctor is not doing you any good bye prescribing this will destroy your liver.I don't know how much pain you get from Lyme disease but I am on fentanyl 150mcg every 2 days I have been on the patch for near ten years. Before that it was perks,Oxycontin 80mg two tabs three times a day and i became so addixcted i walked into a hospital and the doctor saved my life I have not taken any pain killers pill form in over 5years no lies.I am much much healthier but my pain is daily I already have had spinal surgery and more will be needed sometime in the future.I can tell you if...
