No, it is not a good idea to add anything else. The Norco already contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, as listed by the FDA. The Acetaminophen augments the action of the narcotic in some people that take it.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
If your pain is no longer being alleviated, then it would be best to speak to your doctor. You may need a dosage adjustment or to try a different medication.
