Orange Subutex 153 Half Moon Better Than Strips (Page 5)
UpdatedYes, they are Subutex 153 half moon and the are shaped like a surf board. They work way better then Suboxone strips. People keep saying they cut the strips into millions of pieces, if that is the case you don't need them in the first place. This new one orange Subutex 153 half moon surf board shape ones last way longer, and work great (oh my god they work so great!) I recommend them to anyone using the white ones or the strips, they both suck compared to the new ones. Take it of leave it but it's the truth. If you take just a half it will last you two days...unreal.
Re: Anita (# 1)
A cup of coffee will kill the bad taste suboxone leaves.
Tricky.. I've done it plenty of times with Subutex or Suboxone where you take a full one for 5 days and then cut it down a quarter every 5 days until you're down to nothing and you may feel sluggish and still get the depression and anxiety but you're not going to be sick as a dog crawling around on the ground honestly with the good 10 -12 pills I can completely taper off and then you're down to take a nothing done it plenty of times
Re: David (# 2)
You can get the 153’s with your subutex prescription. Just have to go to the correct pharmacy that has them. I get white one month and orange the next.
Re: NorcoJoe (# 58)
That's an amazing story. I'm a few years late (lol) since you posted this year's ago but it's very touching. My child saved my life. I too cried and prayed for it you get better. I'm clean 9 years now with a happy family. It can be done people! It just matters how much you really really want it. And screw you to the guy posting about mother's taking subtext while pregnant. It's easy for men to say but us women have to get clean for the baby. A baby can die from withdrawal in the womb. I wish a guy could see what's it's like to carry another human being. So bias. What a jerk. If it wasn't for Subutex my child wouldn't be here happy and healthy. I wouldn't be happy and healthy. I don't understand why people judge if they have NO CLUE what it's like. Ugh!!!!
Re: Jessyka (# 5)
I don't think you need to be encouraging this behavior in any way
Thank you guys so much. I had just left a few forums of horror stories with the orange activis and was really scared to take mine. I'm now more optimistic about it. Thank you all so much.
Re: Aish (# 14)
I have been taking su item for pain since 2014. I had a bad motorcycle accident that broke 5 vertebrae. They had me on norcos and they made me sick. I did my owne research and found that they have been using subutex for pain in Europe for about the last 15 years. I talked to my pain management DR and asked that I be prescribed subs. He had to do some research and after 2 days filled my first scrip. Tell your husband to talk to his dr and request the subutex.
Re: Jessyka (# 5)
Hey girl, 3 out of 4 of my children where born addicted to subutex. They are all healthy and fine! My dr recommend breastfeeding and weaning my babies off that way. They did not have to go to NICU, we only had to stay one extra night in the hospital. Just make sure your subutex dr and your OB stay in touch! Everything will be fine!! Congratulations girl!
I totally agree ?? w/ you for the orange Subutex moons...... They work so good, that I can break em into thirds and feel great from 1 the whole day. I get rashes from Suboxone and I'm a dude....so that's the only way you can really get em. He is correct.
Re: Jessyka (# 5)
8 mg a day is a lot. Any baby will have withdrawal from that dose. 1 mg of buprenorphine is biochemically as strong as 16mg of methadone. That’s like taking 96 mg of methadone per day. A cut down to 2 mg by week of delivery should lessen the chances of dependent of the baby but there will still be residual effects. Best advice is to not have a baby while dependent on opioids but I know that’s not fair to say. The problem lies in the fact that an unborn baby receiving this drug via the umbilical cord is going to have a neural pathway already carved out in their brain that loves opiates due to this. The first time they take a painkiller like Vicodin for getting their wisdom teeth out or if they hurt themselves in a sport during adolescence is all but guaranteed to create a feeling of filling a void in the kid. This leads to cravings and addiction. Not to mention the fact that they are genetically predisposed to addiction more than others already via your contribution of their genes.
Sorry to get lost there but I guess I’m just warning that you should do your best to ensure they don’t take opiates even if surgery is required. There are local anesthetics that will numb the area for 3 days (IE Experil) it’s like Novocain but lasts for 48-72 hours. Hope all is well with you and your child and wish you the best!!
This is a first for me..since being prescribed buprenorphine since 2005, I have never heard of anyone say they like the orange half moon..wow, they are probably one of the worst generics we have to choose from..most everyone, would agree to this...if you want the best try Rhodes or hikma, brand..I still am in shock of reading so many people who actually like one of the weakest products out there..seriously orange half moon??.....
He is correct, but when I see my dr there is a pharmacy when I walk out so I get my greenstone 120, 2mg xanax (work the best by far). Then he gives me subutex if he is there and I got the 54 111. They work just as good as last month's “surfboard“ orange moons.....they are both equally as good ...but switching it up always makes u think the new one is better.
Re: Cafdog (# 7)
From Walgreens, they last the longest. I never run out when I get these.
Re: BoLtGaNg04 (# 90)
I would feel sorry for anyone having a baby while still on buprenorphine treatments, if I could not detox off before I got pregnant I would not expect my newborn to do very well,..or put any baby through any type of detox..I mean it if I couldn't do it how would you expect a baby to do it...just my options are detox yourself off before you think about bringing a newborn into this world, because if you cannot detox off don't bring a baby into the world of addiction
Re: Johnny (# 52)
Best damn comment I heard in a long time..on top of that coming from a guy, way to go, I agree,..I mean if a woman cannot detox herself off buprenorphine treatment and then she expects her baby too?
Re: Concerned american (# 85)
You are absolutely correct, for any woman who is thinking about having children, please detox yourself first, I mean if you cannot detox for the sake of your baby,..then don't expect your newborn to detox because of your own habbit subutex or suboxone. I know the doctors say it's ok, it's not ok .at all..it almost makes me I'll to think about a newborn going through any type of detox because you couldn't do it for the sake of a baby, yet you cannot detox first..it's a shame
When I used to pick up my 120 Xanax 2mg and 8mg subutex from my primary care physician. (still do) ...the beautiful thing is they have a pharmacy in the drs office which is super cheap and awesome . i got em to order the greenstone 2mg white bars, but anyways if i go to walgreens i usually get the orange moon subutex and those work jus as good or better than the 54 211 or whatever roxanne makes. Doesn’t matter to me, best combo in the world
How much did you take your first day? I've been using and want to stop so badly and I got prescribed the orange half moons and I'm afraid to try them. When do you take them? Do you have to wait until your in full withdrawal?
Re: medMAN (# 18)
How much are you taking everyday? What mg?
Re: Valerie (# 98)
Make sure you are sick, not just runny nose and a few body aches. I would wait a minimum of 36 hours or more since you have taken a narcotic. Otherwise you will go into precipitated withdrawal which will make you want to die. NO JOKE. When you are good and sick break off a small piece of the suboxone and see how you feel and gradually take more until you reach your full dose. It may take ya a couple days. I have been on subs since 2008 and know it well. Good luck.
