Orange Subutex 153 Half Moon (Page 4)

I use these and they work great. I was on the Roxanna Pharma ones that were circular in size and these orange ones work way better. Wish I had been on them from the start.

I'm so glad that I can relate to at least one other person experiencing that the orange actavis pills do not work the same. I do not live in FL but around here the Walmart pharmacies carry the large white ones. I will try my best to never get the orange again unless they for some reason discontinue the white because this is ridiculous

I know that everyone is different and can react differently than others to the same medication but I have been on the large white round bup. 54/411 for over 2 years now and they worked really well for me. The pharmacy I normally get them from suddenly stated that they only have a partial amount of them for a few days worth but that the manufacturer is not giving them (nor any other pharmacy locally) a date as to when they will be able to deliver the rest because they do not have any to deliver. The pharmacist as well as myself called around to at least 10+ other pharmacies and he same response was given. I was due to get my script so I had no choice but to go to another pharmacy chain and they gave me the light orange oval pills with the half moon on one side. I don't understand why because they state they are the same but they do not work the same for me at all. Several hours after taking them I am very anxious and feel cravings that I have not felt for years. I took them not expecting to be any different than the white I normally take so I did not go into it with my mind already made up that they would not be as good. So now I am stuck with a partial and then the rest of my months supply will be in in a few days and I'll be stuck with that. I am worried that I will be dealing with this all month and I honestly just want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience with them and if there is any reason for it? :/

This is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. Meds don't get discontinued bcuz they maxed out sales or sold too many. Whoever told you that is obviously not educated on this topic. Ask your pharmacist or call the Roxanne manufacturer before posting a bunch of bs on the internet.

No. That's why subutex is only buprenorphine.. Suboxone has the blocker. The blocked is naloxine. Hence why they give subutex to pregnant women so they can take pain meds without getting sick and withdrawl.

The orange surfboard ones are available at Walgreens..... but I'm telling ya, they DEF SUCK compared to the white round subutex (both are sublingual--under the tongue)... and I would MUCH RATHER HAVE MY WHITE SUBS BACK!!! They last much longer. The orange ones don't do anything for my pain, and they both are expensive!! But at least the white ones work so I feel normal throughout the day, but the ORANGE ONES DO NOT. I'm so damn frustrated and pissed off this happened to me at the beginning of June. I'm already out and need to pick up a few more (as I used to do with the other ones).... your girl would be lucky and better off to stick with the white round generic subs..... I hope I helped you a little bit from my experience thus far from this month!! I'm Samantha...... and my pleasure to help. Anybody know which pharmacy carries my usual white ones? I'm in fort myers, Florida. Zip code to me is 33916.... ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!! Thank you!

I've never seen these orange subs before,... I've always taken the white round one and I would split it up into pieces..(4 pieces ) am I supposed to do the same thing with these new oval ones? Are they the same thing? Or is one better than the other.....? Anyone??? Thnx for listening have a great day! From Samantha123

This has been over 2 yrs now and a buddy of mine still gets the round white 54 411. So what your saying about them no longer being manufactured because they were being sold in excess is false.

I just switched from strips to subutex and i hated it at first too. Your body just has to adjust to the different medication. It took about 3 weeks for me to start feeling better from the switch.

The white ones are called Subzolve I'm pretty sure.thats how you spell it these have no naxloxone (opiate blocker) so yes they are much better

That i totally agree with i take strips daily but i also take the tex on days when i feel as if its needed but i know that when you said that the tex is okay to take with meds to help with pain bc they interact with each other to help cure and or prevent the pain but the strips however do not.

I think you may have misunderstood what Forealist is saying, I don't think they called a person retarded in any way or form. I'm pretty sure that they were calling out the way people claim one pill is stronger than the other, even though they are both the same medication. For example, the argument was that two different brands of 8mg's of Buprenorphine or Subutex are somehow different in the way they affect you when in fact, when it comes down to it on a scientific level, all 8mg Subutex is the same. The reason why certain brands might feel stronger or better is because it's all psychological. Look up the placebo effect if you don't believe me. I went through this same thing with generic 2mg Xanax and now generic 2mg Clonazepam. I was taking 2mg's of the Purepac brand of Clonazepam 3 or 4 times a day, and then one day I went to pick up my meds from the pharmacy and they gave me a brand called Accord that I have never heard of before and I swore that there was something wrong with these meds because I was taking them just like I was supposed to, but yet I was suffering from benzodiazepine withdrawals. I was absolutely furious and wanted answers immediately!!! I found out that Sam's Club had began to order this s***ty Accord brand straight from India. Lmao! Instead of ordering my usual Pure Pac which was always effective in helping panic attacks caused by Ptsd that I acquired from 3 very long combat deployments. So I was very angry but there was nothing I could do because I was told by a pharmacist that they were all the same chemical compound. And you know what? It's the truth. It's our brains telling us that they are stronger when they are the same chemical makeup.

The reason y 2 mg of either suboxone or subutex works but u can still get some relief or high from opiates is because its covering less than a third of the opiate receptors(miu receptors) which means 2/3 of the receptors are open to receive the opiate. It takes about 8 mg to fill the receptors completely and anything higher is just a mental thing. Just like after lowering from 8 to 2mg slowly it is more of a mental than physical thing in order to get off completely.

Forreal...

For one, don't put people down, or call them retarded! Now, on that note.. There may not be a difference in what they are supposed to do, but there is a huge difference in how they make you feel! Subutex vs Suboxone. I personally don't like the Suboxone, the naloxone crap makes me sick, as well makes others sick at times. Also, Subutex is straight up buprenorphine, it's easier for me to dose etc..also, Subutex to me lasts longer.. Remember, when having anything mixed with something else it can cause differences in how they work. Just because the next person has issues with Suboxone doesn't make them a liar..If you do fine on Suboxone..Great! Continue on!

That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. No matter which one you have or even if it's suboxone or subutex it is still 8 MG of bupe!!! All of this one is stronger than the other is just retarded. 8mg is 8mg. If you think you feel different it's just you letting your brain play tricks on you. I know all this from YEARS of experience!!!

In my opinion they are better than the white ones, I'm thinking because when you're taking the white ones on a regular basis you build a tolerance. I'm guessing these are a little different even they buprenorphine 8 mg. Also yes you use them the same way.

As I previously stated, I was in the hospital (hospitalized for three days), due to a severely painful stomach condition. Yes, at the hospital they were giving my regular prescribed daily meds(8mg Subutex 3× a day, although I definitely do NOT take three a day, and my Klonopin 1mg 4× a day) as well as 2mg morpheine IV every 4 hours.... The Gastro surgeon did my procedure and found out I have gastritis, 3 ulcers, & inflammation of the pylorus. Although I am prescribed 8mg of Subs 3 times daily, I only take 4mg of my Subutex 2-3 times a day, so in total, that's about 1 &1/2 pills daily, to which I told the nurse to only give me halves. In closing, I was given the morpheine along with Zofran(for nausea) IV due to my severe amount of pain as well as the occasional vomiting associated with my stomach conditions. Who says if you're in legitimate pain you can't get narcotics along with SUBUTEX, not SUBOXONE?! Besides, if taking bupenorphine combined with a narcotic, you don't feel "high", but you do get the pain relief!! In my experience... Thank you :-)
