One word when going through Tramadol Withdrawal "HELL". I have taken up to 20 a days and been using it the last 6-7 years. If you run out or cold turkey here is a few of what you will experience.

Aggressiveness
Anxiety
Chills
Depression
Diarrhea
Flu-Like Symptoms
Hallucinations
Headaches
Insomnia
Irritability
Mood Swings
Nausea
Nightmares
Poor Appetite
Sweating
Tingling Sensations
Tremors

Please if you are withdrawing and have nothing to take for it then I suggest an ER visit. Be honest because you could most definitely have a seizure. If any of you have ques please post back. I have been through the withdrawals and know a lot about it. I wish I never started and my goal is to get off of it completely.

Hello, JJ! How are you? Thank you for your very helpful post!!

The best way for anyone to come off of Tramadol is via a slow taper, under their doctor's supervision. That helps prevent the withdrawal effects and the risk of seizures.

The FDA classifies Tramadol as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Are there any questions or concerns?
