Old Kidney Remedy

I read on this website about an old kidney remedy that might be able to help my ankles, calf and feet swelling. Please, I don’t know what to do! The calf has black marks that my doctor thinks are clots, as my fingernail touched one after a shower and blood spurted out of it; and then after I cleaned it up, light pink fluid ran down my leg. The OTC med had 2 initials before the rest of the name!

I am sorry, I don't know what medication you are asking about. Can anyone else that's familiar with it chime in?

As to your issue, if your doctor thinks you are having clots, or some other issue, it would be best to follow their instructions for further testing, and take whatever medication they recommend. The FDA warns that not doing so could cause a clot to break loose, which may result in a fatal medical condition. An anti-inflammatory, whether prescription, or over the counter, is not going to do what you really need, if you have clots.

What do the marks look like? Are you on any medications?
