Had you taken any over the counter cold remedies, such as Nyquil or something similar?
Some of them do have alcohol in them and the amounts can be detectable is used as directed on the label.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but it is going to be difficult to find another doctor to take you, since you've been dismissed from one. That will be noted in your records.
