Oblong White Pills

I found some small, oblong white pills and I was wondering if anyone knew what they were. They have no prints or scoring on either side, they are totally plain. If you lick them they taste sort of tangy, and bitter. Does anyone know what they are? I don't think they could be E because they are not round, and have no prints on them...

I have some at the moment they are generic for Tylenol. Hope it helps...

Actually, without a marking, it is very difficult to say what they are with any certainty.

There are many over the counter items that meet this description, some are Acetaminophen, but not all. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication.

It can, however, be ruled out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required to have markings to enable their identification.

Just as another example, I have a bottle of herbal supplements that are sold to help with insomnia, that also meet this description.

Does anyone else have any ideas to add?
