Anyone ever heard of ONAX 2mg, and is it an effective generic for Xanax (Alprazalom)?

Whats a joke is when you don't have legitimate organization like the FDA to monitor what is actually in the pills you take.

@Denise. I am dependent on Xanax, but of course you don't tell the provider this. The insurance companies don't mind Xanax as it is dirt cheap. Yes there was a time when I too would count my bottle of 30. Then my doctor doubled my dose and doubled my prescription. Now I couldn't count my Bars if I had too, ironic!

Actually my experience has been that not much else had worked for the anxiety except xanex. I took very small doses 1/2 mg only periodically - the medical and insurance industry make us out as addicts. I have had long discussions with my doctors who can see my use has not increased in four years and tell me they are not bothered by my perscription - but when I had a difficult time - I might need more than 30 a month - so i end up counting and watching them which is exactly what addicts do. Between the insurance company that says you can only get x amount vs what your doctor has told you - vs what is put in the system - my refills are always screwed up - run out re-fill - takes lots of calls, to both pharmacy and dr. Sometimes this happens in the middle of a trial - the last time it was so bad - i felt no one should have to go through this. I am now taking zoloft which has helped with the panic attacks - especially in AM - but it has not solved all issues. As others have said when you have panic attacks or anxiety attacks you need something that works fairly quickly and doesn't put you to sleep or make you feel drugged.

I bought some & didn't look them up cause they had the right taste but I let them dissolve under my tongue & they didn't dissolve like they normally do. They crumbled up & made my tongue go completely numb. I felt nothing whatsoever off of them & am super disappointed about this! Any idea what they could be???

So typical of someone obviously living here who can't spell and criticizes Americans. Granted, there are problems with this country and a lot of Americans have an arrogance that is not warranted, but if you're SO offended, then leave. Or is this the only place where your terrible grammar fits in so well. I'll be the first to say that we issues that we need to focus on yesterday, but I'm sick of people who aren't Americans - but live here - and criticize the country. Get the f*** out if we fat, stupid, lazy Americans offend you so much. The entire country is not stupid my friend, and you've managed to stir up an educated one. Americans are currently building the SLS (space launch system) that will take us to Mars and beyond. It's the most advanced propulsion system in the world, and it was a joint effort between Boeing and NASA - which is comprised of many different peoples. I'm not saying lose the attitude. I'm upset too with where this country is these days, but griping about won't change a thing. You have to get off the sidelines and become involved in making a difference. This usually starts on a small scale - the people you interact with on a daily basis. You have to get people to exercise critical thinking again, instead of always blindly believing what the mass media tells you. And by the way, some ONAX's are good, and some don't even taste like Xanax, so even though I'm not a fan of the FDA, they do allow for more of a constant than in some other countries. Sorry if that offends you, but the world isn't flat either. It's called facts (not fax), and while we are slipping on many fronts, we are still able to do a few things. Anybody that thinks we are the only country that can accomplish similar things is also foolish, but love it or leave. And if ONAX's were regulated by the FDA, this silly thread wouldn't even exist. Dude - you're obviously a passionate person - find some real causes to get involved with because this country (as well as the world - and whatever country you come from) needs its citizens to step up and speak out, but about issues that matter, like why are children dying in the streets instead of "Oh my God, I didn't feel high and the silly American is saying that my country can't make pills". Come on. I could go on, but I've wasted enough time on deaf ears.

I don't understand why folks don't work out their issues. You can, if you try. A doctor won't prescribe xanax forever, you can count on that. Especially with the new laws and protocal starting. Xanax is not meant to be taken on a long term basis. You will find fewer and fewer doctors who will give it. There's lots of ways to work on anxiety other than drugs. At least try. Prayers

Theres two different Kinds of onex on the streets the majority are placebos (booze bars) containing absolutely no alprazolam. And then there's the legit onex (vertical 2 on one side onex on the other) that contains 2mg of alprazolam. Both the booze and legit onex i have personally test with my controlled substance test kit. The variant of booze onex stay pink after cracking the solution. And the vertical 2's turned pink to blue confirming that they contain benzo.
