Nuzak Preassure In Head

Hi there...i am a healthy 28 year old lady with no head preassure and dizzines in the past. i have been on lexamil 20mg for 6 years for anxiety. After talking to my psyciatrist as my anxiety got worse he prescribed nuzak 20mg. I have been tampering off the lexamil while using the nuzak 20mg for 2 months now. I stopped the lexamil 20mg a week ago and my psychiatrist upped my nuzak to 40 mg. I understand that i am still withdrawing the lexamil but have had pressure and dizziness since i started using 40mg of nuzak...is the head preassure and dizziness normal and when will it go away?

It could be due to the combination of stopping one, while starting the other, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dry mouth, and weigh changes.

Things should improve with time, as your body adjusts, but it may take 4 to 5 weeks.

If they don't start to improve, or if the symptoms get worse, you should have it checked out.
