Not Working For Me

This is only day 3. the first two days made me have loose bowels but only on time a day. Now today I took it at 9am then waited to eat at almost 10. I still haven't used the bathroom. I have tried twice to no avail. Its very frustrating. I feel a little rumbling and a bit of gas but that's about it. I thought this medication was supposed to relieve you of constipation not team up with it.

Hi Eve,

Sorry to hear about the Linzess not working. Your not alone though, as I have stumbled upon several reviews reporting similar issues in that regard. Some medications just don't work well for certain people and it may just come down to trying a number of different options until you find one that works best.

Some remedies I've had success with in the past for alleviating constipation are: Epsom salt (baths), digestive enzymes, probiotics, foods high in fiber, slippery elm, marshmallow root, etc...to name a few. These items are typically available at most health food stores as well as online.

Does anyone else have suggestions to add?
