I had a Dr that was prescribing Norco 10/325 1-2 tabs every 4-6 hours for herniated discs in my neck and lower back for close to a couple years. During the course of that couple years I had surgery replacing a disc and fusing 2 in my neck then 3 months later a surgery fixing a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder by placing an anchor in there. The surgeons then took over my pain management for 3 months for each surgery. After the 3 months I returned to my PCP for further pain management. After a few months of this my Dr fired me along with a large group of other patients that were on narcotic pain killers. (I know this because a nurse that no longer works at that office told me about the mass firings.) It has been a year since my surgeries and I have been in double the pain in my neck than ...
UpdatedMy husband is a diabetic just started low dose insulin he is taking norco has been for many years the doctor who put him on sulin does not know about norco he is a different doctor........sugar still up wondered if norco could be raising his sugar levels ? ## Hi Dee, From what I could gather, an insert from the Norco (Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone) product information states the following: "If you are diabetic, acetaminophen can affect the results from some blood sugar tests. Check with your doctor before you change your diet or the dose of your diabetic medicine." Referenced from: Norco Details If this remains a problem, fortunately there are a wide variety of pain management options that can effectively replace Norco. I would bring this up to his doctor if you haven't alread...
ive had same rx for a year now n bern getting my ms conton and norco filled no problem now all the sudden everyone is refusing to fill it please help me ## Hi ks, Sorry to hear that you can't get your scripts filled. You're definitely not alone as it seems like everyone in Florida is having complications trying to fill their pain management scripts, no matter the dosage. Based on the comments of others, I get the notion that it must have something to do with whatever is going on behind the political scenes there. If you can't find anything locally I know there are a good number of online pharmacies that may be able to fill your prescription. Legitimate online pharmacies that carry the VIPPS seal are listed at: nabp.net/programs/accreditation/vipps/find-a-vipps-online-pharmac...
could anyone tell me why a norco325.10 does not help my pain as well as a vicodain 10 does? thank you ## Hi lynn, Both of the pills in question are one in the same drug. The only difference I noticed is that they are manufactured by different companies. Because of this, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may respond favorably with one medication and not the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. When you switch brand names or manufacturers,...
Does Norco come as 20/325? ## No, these medications, such as Norco, Lortab and Vicodin are only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone in them. Learn more Norco details here. In order for someone to have a higher dosage, it would have to have been specially ordered by their doctor and then done by a compounding pharmacy. Do you have a fill your questioning?
I have a script for norco 10s but only last me 20 days so i take 4 10 m morphine to get me through the rest of the month. I have to take a blood test for insurance will they be able to tell between the two opiates or not? ## There are tests that can do so, thus if that's the type of test they use then yes, they would be able to tell that you took something that wasn't prescribed for you. Learn more drug test details here. Why does your insurance require a drug test?
I'm so confused today I did my normal every 2 weeks drug screening, I'm on norco 10/325 2 pills every 8hrs. & most days I still last in bed in tears but will not take more than perscribed. Today, my dr comes in & starts yelling at me, b/c I had a very "faint" line showing OXYCOTIN! I'm not even sure what that is.. & when I said to him "whats that?" He told me "you're not stupid" & never even answered me!! I have never taken this or know one person who does! Now my dr is having a nurse come to my home once a week to "counsel" me! I've been on these meds for over 2 years, every drug test normal... Now I'm confused & lost, & I didn't do ANYTHING OR TAKE ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT I'M PERSCRIBED! I don'...
I've been addicted to Norcos for 2 years. It all started when I got a root canal done at 18 and was prescribed Vicodin. I couldn't take much time off work, do I went back to work and took a Vicodin at work to help me through the night without pain. Then I realized how amazing it felt to be on Vicodin at work; When my script ran out, i tried to buy Vicodin illegally, all anyone had was Norco, so that's how I got hooked on Norcos. I would spend rent money and bill money on Norcos. They were all I thought about. I didn't care about anything else as long as I was high. I came to refuse to go to work unless I was high. So if my source was out I'd stay home and withdraw until they had more. I was taking 10 pills a day. It was ruining my relationship with my fiancee. I was ...

My friend who has a legal prescription for klonapin, due to her being clinically depressed. She gets 60 1mg. tabs and within 4 days they are gone.... seriously! For instance she got 60 tabs at 9pm onTuesday and by Friday they were gone. Now for the last 5 days she has been suicidal, upset and crying, and she wants and needs help. My questions are; Is the depression normal that she is experiencing, in this situation and is there anyway I can help her? Is she withdrawing from the medication? She is loosing her balance and falling. Burning her clothes, carpet and furniture. And finally how long will it take for the pills to leave her system so she is no longer experiecing these side affects. She also has a problem with Norcos at the begining of the month.. ## To be honest, what your friend...
I'm taking Norco for an achillies injury and have developed a UTI was given Phenazopyrid for the stomach pain. Will this be to much pain meds. Will they work ok together. ## well for starters how long have you been on narco !!!have you been under guidance then" it is alright if not see physician immediately "as this narco is combination of two drugs and has severe addiction hazards as well .however the drug prescribed is a urinary antiseptic for urinary tract infections it brings down the burning and pain associated with it and will "always be given for specific period of time " do not worry but my intention is you must not get habituated to "NARCO" ## Barbara stated that she is taking NORCO for an achilles injury! She then stated that she developed a UTI whi...
I have severe chronic spine and back pain. I asked for Norco 10/325. ( lower Tylenol) I recieved Watson 540 light blue oval pill with score on the other side. Can anyone tell me the name of that blue pill before I take it? Thank you to those who reply ## The tablet with the Watson 540 marking contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, so a little more of the Acetaminophen than what you'd requested. Learn more Vicodin details here. Who did you ask to give you the lower amount, did you ask your doctor, or the pharmacy? If it was the pharmacy, they can't change the prescription, they can only provide you with what your doctor has prescribed.
every saturday night i take 15mg of hydro norcos. the last time i did was saturday at like 10pm and i took a saliva test thursday at like 4:30pm. did i pass? ## Hi Nikki, The detection time for Norco in a saliva test is up to 1-4 days after your last dose. So to my understanding you should've passed the test no problem! When do you think you'll find out the results? I'd be interested in knowing if these estimated time frames hold true to their stature.
compare Norco 10mg 5 *day with MSContin 15mg 2*day ## The Hydrocodone in the Norco and the Morphine in MS Contin are actually equal in terms of strength, so if you were taking 50mgs a day of the Hydrocodone in the Norco, then you'll need 50mgs a day of the Morphine to equal it for pain control. Learn more Norco details here. Learn more Morphine details here. Thus, you may not get the same pain relief, since you're not taking an equivalent dosage. Are there any other questions or comments? ## So the 50mg/day of Norco I was taking is stronger then the 2 15mg MSContin that the new dr. put me on?
I have been tested twice and both times they said I tested positive for Dialudid when I know I didn't take, The only time a doctor even gives it to me is if it is in the E.R. when I have a migraine it had been 4mos. before the the blood test that I had a shot, I do how ever take Norco 10 mg.2-3times a day Soma4 times a day Zonegran 400 mg.Mirapex0.25mg and Verapamil 240mg ## Dilaudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphine, which is a narcotic opiate and the Norco that you take contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. Learn more Dilaudid details here. Learn more Norco details here. And if the drug test being used is one of the less expensive, non-certified tests, then one narcotic opiate is well known to cause false positives for its relatives. It happens anywhere from 4 to 50% ...
