Hello, I too hate the new white norco's. Has anyone found a good replacement with out high Tylenol like the norco's? Thanks ## Hello, PandaB1! How are you? There will not be any available with the higher amounts of Acetaminophen as of the end of this year. Due to the risks of liver damage or failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts, as well as the dangers of overdose, the FDA has requested that all of these combination prescription medications be changed to contain no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose. And actually what this means is that they're not widely available right now, because there is a shortage. I really think that most people are going to have to wait until after the new year to see what's available and which one of those wor...

will one norco taken 28 hours before a drug sweat patch is applied show up as positive on the results? ## This is for my concern of my grown trial and alternatives. In order to understand the concept of this detox procedure as well. ## @Karen, For a urine test, apparently Norco can be detected in your system for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. For a blood test, it can be detected for up to 24 hours after your last dose. For a saliva test, it can be detected for up to 1-4 days after your last dose. For a hair test, it can be detected for up to 90 days or so. With that said, I do believe that it would show up within the time frame you mentioned. Although I'm not too familiar with sweat drug tests, it does seem like it would stay in your system for the duration of a few days if you...

Will mixing methodone and norco lnduce withdrawls?? ## Hi Melissa, Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Methadone and Hydrocodone; so you shouldn't experience any strange problems in that regard. While it is possible for there to be an additive effect, some people have had incidences where they noticed a decreased efficacy with Hydrocodone when they administered a larger dose of either medication. I'm not a doctor, but from what I've read, I don't think it reacts quite as strongly as Suboxone would in this type of scenario. None the less, it is something to pay very close attention to if this is your first time using either of these medications together. It may also be best to discuss proper dosing protocols and any other concerns with your...

If i were to take Clonipin after detoxing from Dilaudin 4mg x 4 hours, Yet I am back to Norco and Fenenyl patch, would Clonipin help me avoid the horrible anxiety and all that goes along with withdrawal? Also if I took it for a short term, would I then have to detox from Cloipin? ## Hi Irishlass, Due to the fact that Klonopin (Clonazepam) can cause very serious withdrawal symptoms on its own, I wouldn't advise you to use it while you're withdrawing from the other medication. The only way I would recommend this would be if you are under the care of a licensed psychiatrist who can provide you with a tapering schedule and other necessary safety information. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Klonopin Details Have you considered using any supplements to avoid anxiety...

Have you tried a place called "Southwest Pain Clinic" in San Antonio, Tx? I went ahead and posted their webpage in the link below: southwestpainclinic.com/map Google seems to have several more listings in your area when running a search for "Pain Clinics San Antonio Texas". I hope this helps and wish you healthy recovery! ## Hi Adam, I have heard that Dr. Hernandez at Southwest Pain Clinic is very good. However he does not accept Medicaid or private pay. I have tried and tried to get in and can not. Good luck ...

ive been taking the 10/500 mg loratab I was changed to the Norco 10/325 this month...and it feels like im taking aleve it does nothing for my pain I understand the the switch for the acc but is the pain meds the same...I don't think so ## Hello, Angelia! How are you doing? Sorry about the problem that you're having. The amount of Acetaminophen is lower and since it augments the action of the Hydrocodone, the new pill isn't going to be as strong as the old one was. Learn more Norco details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor?

I'm looking for a doctor in portage, lake station, merrillville, Gary area that will prescribe either norcos or percets to ppl with pain issues. any suggestion would be of great help! thank you ## Hello, Riley! How are you? I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with those places. What state are you seeking a doctor in? If you need such medications for long-term treatment of chronic pain, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. General practitioners have been severely restricted on what they can prescribe, how much they can prescribe, why they can prescribe it and how long they can prescribe it. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that could refer you somewhere? If so, that may be the easiest w...

I need to know witch pill is the strongest Norco 5-325 or oxycodone 5mg my husband had a double knee replacement and is in a lot of pain.... ## Hello, Tina! How is he feeling? The Oxycodone is stronger than the Hydrocodone, but in this case, since the Norco also has Acetaminophen in it, they are probably both about equal. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Learn more Norco details here. They are both narcotic opiates that have the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Qualist manufacturer has a pill that states it to be a 5/325 the reads reads v 3604. To my knowledge I thought anything with the # 325 in it is usually a norco ## Hello, Reb! How are you? The V doesn't stand for what the tablet contains, that is just the manufacturers logo, so having a V on it does not make it Vicodin. The V stands for Vintage Pharmaceuticals, they were purchased by Qualitest several years ago and there are many pills with the V logo that don't contain narcotics of any type. Additionally, Norco is just a name brand for a certain combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone….while it was originally ones that just contained 325mgs of Acetaminophen, with several doses of the Hydrocodone, since it is available as a generic now, they are pretty much all just us...

Is there anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area (200 mile radius) where I could get Yellow Norco 10/325, produced by Watson? I was told by Watson customer service that the yellow are no longer made, and that there is absolutely no difference. After reading comments on different medical web sites, it seems that many are having a miserable time of it, and several mentioned Walgreen's as having the yellow tablets. If this is not possible, what other drug might have the same properties? My doctor is OK with trying something new, but he's Kaiser - with 1,350 patients. He just does not have the time to research what may or may not work for me! ## Hello, Ann! How are you? That is correct, the yellow ones are no longer being manufactured, any pharmacy that still has them is just selling...

My doctor suddenly stopped prescribing my Norco 10/325 after two plus years. Sent me to a pain med doctor who didn't even look at my records and gave me nothing and told me to come back in two weeks, after charging me $250.00. What options do I have now? I am in Florida. Thanks for any feedback. ## Hi Kittkatt, I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. I don't know of any doctors to refer you to, but I just thought I'd ask if you've considered trying any other methods of pain management besides medication? The medication may help take the away the pain temporarily, but won't necessarily heal the underlying issues that could be causing your pain to continue. Some people have had success with acupuncture, acupressure, CBD/THC from cannabis, raw vegan d...

I would like to know how many 37.5 mg of tramadol is equal to one norco 10-325mg. ## They aren't comparable and one cannot be converted to the other. Tramadol is derived from an opiate and shares some similar properties, but doesn't actually work the same as one and isn't as effective. Learn more Tramadol details here. However, Norco contains an actual narcotic, Hydrocodone, coupled with Acetaminophen. Learn more Norco details here. Thus, it is actually much stronger and more effective at treating pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

personally i think, the DEA, is cracking down, i know the doctors are scared their gonna lose their license, where i live they are getting ridiculous about it! there is an epidemic, which in return is ruining it for us folks who really need the stuff to just even feel a little comfort from excrutiating pain, there is even a brand called "qualitest" for God sakes! not positive, but i believe, food and drug adm., are lowering the strength, to get american's off the drug!!!!! ## From what I've seen, Watson does have a yellow and white version of their "853" generic Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone tablets. They list the dosage as still being 325/10 in the newer white ones, however, there have been numerous complaints from patients who have tried both versions, saying tha...
