The Vicodin caused nausea, weight loss, only yellow Norco worked. What Pharmacy in Sonora, California area (Tuolumne County) or Calaveras County has them?
UpdatedMy GP gives me 2 scripts for 120 7.5/300 Norco every 4 months. I fill them within the 28-30 day rules. My dentist gave me a small 20 pill script for 5/250 xodol (which I have never heard of). Can I fill this script or is it illegal? ## I am very sorry that you're in pain. No, it would not be advisable to have them both filled. The government dose keep track. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I'm on pain management and worked very hard to be off pain meds except for a pain patch. The upstairs sewage stopped us and overflowed into my home and flooded, you get the idea, all on a Sunday. I'm retired on a fixed income and did the clean up myself and hurt my back which I am disabled with many problems. I had a 10 day med of Norco, but it did not help. I also had oxycontin and I did not take them consecutively, but when it was so bad that I couldn't sit or lie down I nor sleep, I did. Will the urine test they give at the Dr's office find it? I try to use exercise, stretching and yoga for pain and take very little meds, but what I do take I need. Still in pain, but trying to cope.
UpdatedI live in near Aurora,IL. PLEASE SOMEONE HAS TO KNOW A DR. AROUND AURORA, IL OR W/IN 10 MILES OR SO THAT WILL REALIZE I'M NOT JUST TYING TO GET HIGH. I'VE TRIED AT LEAST 7 OR 8 DIFFERENT MEDS. THE NORCO10'S OR EVEN STRONGER (FEWER PER DAY), THAT DOESN'T MESS WITH MY STOMACH (NORCO DOESN'T, IT JUST TAKES AWAY THE PAIN), I'VE TRIED ALL THE OTHER NON NARCOTIC AND THEY DO NOT WORK OR I FEEL LIKE A WACK FROM DRUGS LIKE LYRICA. ***IF YOU CARE TO READ THE REST OF MY STORY****I have been an athlete all my life and just completed 2 Ironman Races 08' & 09' (2.4mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run) and 2 months after, no back pain, but extreme nerve/sciatic pain. I've had 7 injections in my spine and surgery, still have SAME pain! My surgeon wants to cut ...
I have been taking Norco from a toothache, is it okay to take norco before vasectomy ## Hello, Rob! How are you? It would be best to check with the doctor performing the procedure, before taking it. Some medications can interfere with the anesthetic. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I would like to know if norco 10 325 and tylenol 4 the same as far as pain relief ## They are roughly equivalent. Tylenol 4 is listed by the FDA as containing 60mgs of Codeine and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. To be equivalent to the Norco, you'd need 66.67mgs of Codeine. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
narcotic pain pill ## I have been taking norco 10/325 tablets 6 a day for 2 years I would like to get zaboxin ## I believe you have misunderstood the name of this, it is Suboxone. This is a narcotic pain reliever, that is also used to treat addiction problems. To obtain this med, you will have to find a doctor in your area that is licensed to provide treatment with it, your regular family doctor is not allowed to prescribe it. Here's the monograph info: ## What ingredients are in zaboxins
I know its not my imagination. The new white Norcos give me about 10-20% (if that) of the pain relief my former pills did & for an 1 hour vs 3. They primarily make me sleepy, nauseous & so far there is no alternative. My old pills were fine but just 2 wks ago I got these white ones M366 by Malincroft & noticed a huge difference that first day. I had quality-of-life with the old ones, Its hard enough living with pain, now Since then life is so difficult! I'm discouraged & barely functional. It feels like a placebo! Im not a comspiracy theorist but with all the news about pain pill addiction & drs being sued, I cant help wonder if this is a way to force us to detox, bec since taking these white pills Im in a near-constant state of detox. Are we with legit pain issues
Updatedwas taking generic Norco was always feeling very stranged, like I was sluggish. Now was given brand and all of those feeling have disappeared and is working better. is there a difference, for some say it's all the same ingredients. ## Hello, Sue! How are you? The ingredients are the same, but the amount may not necessarily be equal. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, a generic can differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients. While that's not really a huge difference, it may be enough that the name brand works much better for you. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there any...
I have been having problems with my back for about 5 months now. This is after back surgery 10 years ago where the surgeon fused my L 4 and 5 discs, leaving the plates and screws in my back. My doctor put me on Norco and of course the regulations for this is that I have to get a written prescription for a refill, usually not a problem. But my past couple of call in to the doctor's nurse have been impossible. I signed a form explaining thirty day prescriptions giving a 24 to 48 hour response. And if the refill falls on the weekend it will be before that. Well before this I was only receiving a 22 day (90 quantity, 4 pills a day) prescription, taking 1 pill every 6 hours. I have not received a 30 day prescription yet after signing this form. When I tried to call to get my refill becau...

I have been on suboxene for a little more than a year and my doctor won't taper me down ski need to find out a successful taper that will work and hopefully pretty fast. Please help. ## Why don't you just change doctors to someone who may be more willing to work with you? As a paying customer, you have a choice with whom you spend your money, and in the end it's his loss for not wanting to help you. I would strongly recommend seeing a pain management specialist since they are at least more knowledgeable and understanding of these types of medications and what true chronic pain patients really have to go through. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several week...
I was forced into taking Caraco Norco. This cheap manufacturer should be banned. Mallinkrodt lasted all 6 hours. Caraco when there was some relief with 2 pills lasted only 3 hours. This is how patients O.D. How do we get this ineffective brand banned? Can we get a legal case going against pharmacies for pushing ineffective meds? We have to pay for these meds, we are patients suffering and should be able to trust our medication is good quality. This has to stop. ## The whole premise behind brand vs generic is when the patent runs out for brand a generic is made by the same or another company . The absolute rule from the beginning of generic's is that the are suppose to be exactly equivalent to the brand name. Something extremely dangerous is happening with what some of the cheap comp...
Do I put patch on and continue to take my norco till the fentanyl patch gets in to my system at full strength? I take two nor ps 10-325 every 6 hrs and they wear off at 4-5 hrs so pain comes on strong. I've read that it takes 12 to 24 hours for fentanyl to reach its peak so till it kicks it will I be safe to take reg dose of norco? Do not want to go to sleep and not wake up! Scary ## It would be best to be cautious and check with your doctor, before taking the Norco with the patch, since there can be some risk of increased sedation or overdose. However, in most cases it is prescribe that way, the time released patch is meant to control most of your pain, then a regular release medication is prescribed for breakthrough pain. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic,...
I was in a bad accident 13 years ago and broke a lot of bones, some badly. A lot of them are displaced and never healed back together. There are like 24 fractures including pelvic fractures and scapula. They move, pop, stick out and my collar-bone bends in the middle where a non union bone is. Even with 2 norco 7.5 325 I haven't been able to sleep on my back since the wreck. I take one in the late morning and one in the evening. I go 18-19 hours every day intentionally between evening and morning dose. I am feeling pretty rough by then. Is that withdrawals I'm having? I have always taken less than prescribed and been at 2 a day for a long time, years. I have never abused it and never felt high from it, only less pain but not gone. Have always had a prescription for it. I'm h...
Can I take a 10/325 Norco it's been 4 hrs since I took a fiorinal still have horrible migraine ## Hello, Sue! How are you? The Hydrocodone and Butalbital can both increase sedation, which may be risky, so you shouldn't take it that soon afterwards, unless your doctor approves. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have they both been prescribed for you?
I tested negative for norco 10 - so now what can I do? I don't think she my (PA doctor) will stop seeing me for other medical problems. She just said she can't prescribe any more pain medication to me because of the norco not being in my blood test. So now I don't know where to turn ... I don't have a bad record of abuse but now it's probably on my medical records right? Can someone please help me actually understand this whole thing I am in a lot of pain & I know she won't see me for my pain so what now :( ## Sorry to hear about your challenges. If you don't mind me asking, why do you think you failed the blood work? No judgement either way, but was the test result legitimate? In a case like this it sounds like your doctor needs to protect herself from l...
Do urine tests identify the difference between norco fentanyl and morphine- are they metabolized differently or do they read as the same metabolites? ## It depends on the type of test. There is a basic test that just looks for the presence of opiates and, if that's the one used, it would just show that you'd take something, not specifically what. However, there is a more in-depth test that can detect the metabolites and let them know the specific ones you took. Norco Fentanyl Morphine Are there any other questions or comments? ## Yes I take both Fentanyl and Norco, and I have been using Quick Fix Urine and they are telling me my last two tests show nothing. The reason why i did this is because I was smoking a little bit and they were telling me I was testing positive for smoke. ...
Mine are labeled "sub hydrocodone acetate 5/325. They make me very sleepy and never used too. Makes it difficult to go to work on this medication, let alone drive. Thoughts? ## Hello, Kris! How are you? Yes, that means that your prescription was written for Norco and they substituted the generic Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen 5/325mgs. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What are the markings on them? That is what would enable me to check the inactive ingredients for you. Can you please post back with this additional information? Thanks!
This pill is suppose to be a low dose Norco. White, round, flat on two sides, one side has a line, the other side has an imprint of OU? or ON? On it. ## So far, I've been unable to find anything that matches this description. However, what I can tell you is that there is no Norco or generic equivalent on the market in the U.S. that matches this description. The FDA classifies Norco as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet?
