Norco and Vicodin both contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, so why do you need Vicodin, rather than the Norco? ## It's not legal to buy on the street, so maybe you'll have to wait until the the original script is supposed to be gone, the way is was prescribed...Good luck, I 've switched back and forth between 10/325, and 10/500, when I am using the hydrocodone only for pain I prefer the 10/500, now however I'm using the Norco 1'0/325 for breakthrough pain.. ## I have a dr appt with a pain clinic and I'm 9 short on my lortab I need to find a OTC...
I am in the Covington la. northshore of new Orleans. I have unrelenting RA and sciatica because of spinal stenosis. I have been on an antiinflamatory and Norco 5 a day for over a yr. my orthopedic says I have to go to pain management. I don't want shots in my spine. does anyone know of a pain dr. in this area who can treat these conditions with opiates? I sleep maybe 3 hrs a day, neverat night because the RA is too painful. constant panic attacks! ## There is no way of knowing how a dr will treat you until you've seen them a few times. If you call and ask if a dr only uses pain meds, you will be told no because thatis a red flag for drug seeking behavior. Have you seen a Rheumatoligist for the RA ? Have you seen a Neurologist for an EMG for the sciatica ? You will need a copy of...
I am on Norco for Pain management, I took a urine test in office and after a few mons it cam back no Norco and positive for benzodiazepines. I have not taken any for at least 6 months and that would have been a 0.5 mg Adavan. I demanded a Blood test to prove I was not taking the Benzodiazepines and was taking my Norco. Is there a reason it would do this on a urine test. (The doctor canceled my lab on my urine and messed up my original blood screen and when I went back for a retest she tried her best to refuse me blood test and demanded a urine test I had already taken). I have anxiety, depression and bipolar and have not taken any meds recently and was told by this doctor not to take my mental meds. Things are crazy and I need to know how to make sure I get the test that proves I am ok....
I have been on Norco 10-325 for pain management. Today I went to pick up script. My doctor did a urine test. She came out and told me that my urine showed traces of a stronger drug and asked me if I had taken percocet. I have not and told her that. She said that she was going to send it to a lab for more extensive testing and if it came back positive we would have to talk again. My question is how can this happen when I have taken nothing except my perscribed meds. My dr had tried me on 800mgs of neurontin earlier in the month which I was allergic to and had to stop after about a week and a half. Also just recently I have had a severe kidney infection and have been taking Cipro and peridium for about four days. Could any of those mess with the results? I am so confused and afraid my doc...
I have been taking the QUALITEST 10-325 for pain I have incurred due to Scleroderma, Osteoarthritis, Raynauds, PPAH, ETC. When I went to pick up refill this month (November 3, 2014) I was told they could no longer get the QUALITEST and I was stuck with these pills manufactured by MALLINCKRODT. THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!! The pill is white, oval shaped and the bottle says Norco 10-325 but I can guarantee you these are just compressed white powder. THEY DO NOT WORK at all. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in the Disneyland area of Orange County, CA that still has the QUALITEST brand? The pain is unbearable. Thank You. ## Hello, Jade! How are you? I'm sorry that these tablets aren't working for you. Unfortunately, there is no listing of pharmacies according to what medication they carry f...
Which is better norco or hydrocodone for pain ## Hello, Kelsey! How are you? They are actually the same, Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I was on suboxone 12 mg a day and was took off n put on Norco 10 mg how long should I wait after last dosing of my subox ## Hello, Raerae! How are you? Unless your doctor has instructed otherwise, you usually have to wait at least 72 hours for other opiates to be effective, due to the Naloxone in the Suboxone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Took sub first time today. Out of my norco. How long will it take for norco to start having an effect on me after taking a small amount of sub? ## Hello, Jerry! How are you? You usually have to wait about 72 hours, unless your doctor instructs otherwise, because the Naloxone in it will block the effect of other opiates. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
What numbers would I need to look up for Norco 5 mgs? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? I'm sorry, but there are far too many on the market for me to be able to list all the descriptions and markings for you, since Norco is available as both a brand name and generics. Are there any markings on the pill in question? That is what would enable me to check what it contains for you. Can you please post back and clarify? The tablet you mentioned in your subject like is manufactured by Physician Partner and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache.
Do they still make the qualitest v 36 01 yellow norco and can you still find pharmacies that carry these or have they been recalled and are they only making the white ones now? ## Patrick, they stopped making them a while back. It is highly doubtful that you can find any of the yellow Norco. They took the coloring out due to so many people having allergy problems connected to it. ## They still have the yellow qualitest...I get them everytime I fill my script. ...Save On Drug store, on Ford rd and Lilly.. All Save on Drugstores carry them,
My opinion is they are pressed on a s***ty pill press. I believe that cartels are using hydrocodone and making narcotic products. This explains the reason they seem weaker than the Norco. It's definitely an analgesic pain medicine, but with it being made on the black market they are a little weaker with less resources; the bootleggers use fake packing to give it a brand name look, similar to how the opium and coco is inconsistent.
UpdatedHi. My sister has had a problem with norco for several years. She and her husband moved to Texas for his job and she finally wanted to get help. They found a wonderful doctor in Sabine and she has been on suboxone now for five months. The problem now is that the job is over and they are back in ms and she can't find a doctor. There are waiting lists and prejudice everywhere she goes. Please if anyone can help her and knows of somewhere she can go let me know. She doesn't have internet where they live and it is very hard for her to do research. I am so proud of the progress that she has made but I am afraid if she doesn't get a doctor soon she might backslide. She has a daughter that doesn't live with her and won't see her until she is straight. She has been clean for fi
UpdatedI'm prescribed 10mg. Oxcys. I went out of town 3 days ago n forgot my med, so I took 5 leftover Norcos I had left in my makeup bag from when my pm doc changed me from Norco to Oxycodone. Does Norco act differently in my body than the Oxy? ## Does it act differently? No, it is also a narcotic and has the same action for alleviating pain. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if you have a pain contract, you might have violated the terms, so it would be best to inform your doctor of what happened. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is an alternative or an additive to 60mg of Norco/day? I have severe pain and after 7 years, I must have...
I was prescribed norco for back pain but I can not find a pharmacy that has them. ## I have a prescription i had now almost a month and i cant find no one to filled it. I went to 5 places and they all say the same thing: We dont have it, keep checking back. ## Do you know which pharmacy in the LA area has norcos in stock. ## I would like to know where the pharmacies are located in the California area Gilroy Morgan Hill Gustine California Watsonville do you know of any that carries the yellow norcos 325
Wanting information on a while oval oblong pill. On one side there is an M366 nothing on the other side. Can y'all tell me about this pill? ## This tablet is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else you need to know about it?
I broke my ankle last night and the emergency room prescribed norcos for pain and I advised them multiple time that I exclusively breastfeed my 12 week old and they said it was okay . I'm just wanting to make sure I didn't get bad information . Thanks ahead of time ## Hello, Tara! How are you feeling? The Hydrocodone in this medication has been known to pass through the breast milk to the infant, as reported by the FDA, and it may cause them to be very drowsy, to sleep for long periods of time and to become constipated. There have also been cases of infants getting too much of it and experiencing fatal overdoses. Thus, I think it would be best to consult your personal doctor to see what you can safely take. Is there anything else I can help with?
round thick peach/tan pill with markings HYD30 side one&no markings on other side,i was told it is a norco without any tylonal in it? ## Hello, Tish! How are you? That is correct. This tablet is manufactured by Purdue Pharma and they it as being a 30mg Hysingla ER tablet, which contains the active ingredient Hydrocodone in a time released formulation, so it's the same opiate that is in Norco, but without the Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
I have to give a urine sample in 3 days. I am going to take qcarbo 16 to clean my urine for marijuana, but i still want my regular prescription drugs to show up. Is that possible? ## I'm in the same boat. Did you figure this out? Any help would be awesome! ## Does anyone know with the new drug test law at doctors offices are testing for levels of prescribed medications or just illegal drugs? I was also going to use qcarbo to clean THC out of my system but don't know if it will clean my prescribed meds out as well? ## So my question... can u clean system out from pot and last day or two take prescribed meds and not have pot show up? ## I tested positive for meth yesterday at a pain management clinic's drug test. The doctor said not to come back. What will happen from here? Wi...
I was on the yellow 10/325. They claimed all they did is just took out the dye. I've been on this dose for years and I guess they thought I was an i**** because they put me on a Norco 10/325 ip 110. I noticed right away they were much weaker. I don't want to have to take more but the reality is they are weaker than the yellow ones. I'm having to take three and still don't feel it working like the two yellow ones I've always taken. Is there a generic that is just as strong as the yellow? ## Hi mel, You are right about Actavis claiming the only notable difference to be a removal of yellow dye; but it would seem to me that there's something the manufacturer isn't telling us. Not only do I have a relative with similar complaints about the white tablet being ineff...
I have heard many people complaining that when they changed from yellow to the white watson853 that people were not getting the same pain relief. I have had 3 back surgeries I am a third titanium. I believe you are having a psychosomatic reaction. The pain relief seems to be the same to me. Talk to a trusted pharmacist at Walgreens and said they are not receiving complaints. Calling a pharmacist and complaining can cause you to be red flagged in today's society. I would suggest to legitimate chronic pain patients to not be confused by a color and getting the man to trick you into thinking there is a difference. It jeopardizes the legitimate pain patient. I would like your professional opinion please to clarify this issue. ## My opinion on the differences patients experience between ...
