Will tylenol#3 test the same as Norco? Shattered my ankle waiting for 2nd surgery and ran out of Norco. My Dr. called and requested a urine test tomorrow. I cannot pick up my pain med's without a test. Do they test it right away at the lab? This is the VA. ## No, they do not test the same. Codeine is metabolized into morphine; hydrocodone is metabolized into hydromorphone. As far as whether they'll know the results immediately, it depends what type of test they're utilizing and if they use an in-house lab. Simple urine tests and merely detect the presences of each class of drugs can be done right away, and in that case both the codeine and the hydrocodone will just come up as opioids. If it's a more advanced test, it will show the different medications and can also tell ...

Could this be an otc vitamin c or calcium? It's white oblong and blank with just a line imprinted on the other side ## Hi beth, Based on your description, what you have is most likely a generic Norco tablet containing 10mg of Hydrocodone + 325mg of Acetaminophen, used for moderate to severe pain (NDC codes 27808-037, 50474-932). This particular pill is reported to be manufactured by a company called Tris Pharma. Inactive Ingredients: - Croscarmellose Sodium - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Silicon Dioxide - Stearic Acid Ref: DailyMed I hope this helps! ## I use to get the yellow 10-325 norco but now my prescription today is white round pills that have G037 I hate them they do not work ... are they really a narcotic for my back & hip pain?? If so, these new pi...

I have a 5 panel hair follicle drug test coming up. I have a script for Norcos so I'm ok on that but my question is that I took about 4 at the most of 5/325 mg oxycodone about 2 months ago . I took them over a 2 week span. I took them for a horrible infection in my tooth. I had the bottle but it is expired. Will the oxy show up in my hair test ? I want this new job in the worst way and am so worried. ## Did you pass your test? Do you know if it was it an extended panel test?

I am prescribed norco 10/325 and it makes me sick to my stomach and itch. Although it does help with my pain i have to take phenergan for nausea anytime i take one and benadryl for the itching. Are there any meds that would help with my pain but not make me nauseous or itch? ## Those are possible side effects of all opiate pain medications. The only thing you can really do is try various ones, as approved by your doctor, to see if you find one that doesn't cause you such issues. Have you ever taken Percocet? It contains Oxycodone with Acetaminophen and works great for some people. The FDA does warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

ive had m.s. over 22yrs,had a slip and fall in 08,after 1st surgery,had multiple more back to back,due to hosp negligance,was in nursing home w/central line in m y neck.knee is bone on bone,i cant find a pain clinic doc willing to prescribe meds..norco 10/325's fine for the day,one 4 mg dilaudid for the night...instead they want to turn me away,sayin they arent accepting any new patients,(though i have medicare a+b,and medicaid)..or they want to treat me by injections,no pills... ## What is your general location? That may enable people that know a good doctor in your area to make a recommendation. Additionally, are you asking for medications right away? If you are, then most doctors will see that as drug seeking behavior and will react by not prescribing anything. If you've take...

This should last me 30 days, but two weeks from the date of prescription it was changed allowing me to take it every 6 hours. When can I get my next refill if it was prescribed Oct. 31, 2016 - present? ## May I ask what medication you are taking? It is ultimately up to the doctor if they are able to issue you a refill sooner than 30 days. Since they upped your dose then they should be aware that you will go through the prescription more quickly. If you took 3 per day for 2 weeks then that would leave you with about 48 pills (90 total - [14 days * 3 per day]). Then if you started taking 4 per day (24 hours / every 6 hours) then you would go through the remaining pills in about 12 days. So in the end you would have gone through your entire prescription in about 26 days, finishing about 4 ...

I was prescribed Norco 5/325 for severe dental pain. And I mean severe. Day three absolutely no sleep. I have a dentist appointment Thursday. However, I've literally been going crazy with pain. The Norco is doing nothing. I did take 400 mg. Of ibuprofen two hours after my Norco dose. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The only relief is constantly swishing ice water. Honestly, I'm a little disgusted with the Dentist's at this point. When you call and explain your dire situation and I mean dire the staff should squueze you in or adjust their schedule. If my Dentist office ever called me and asked me to move my general appointment for an emergency patient I wouldnt hesitate!!!!This isn't moderate pain. Also, they don't call in narcotic prescriptions anymore,...

I have always went to Krogers and got my norco 10/325 manufacturers are Mallinckrodt. Never really had an issue as I only take 4 a day as prescribed by doctor for a car accident and injury i was involved in years ago. Well i am now on an insurance that is cheaper through walgreens. My problem is because I love to read, and have read that the ones to be filled Tuesday at walgreens are watson 853 and are white..? Are these good for the pain and the effectiveness we all normally search for with such pill or is it a waste of time. Ive read they go through actavis now and have read that they are not effective at all..0% for pain. Has anyone had this same issue or is it just a hype to all the addicts that think they notice differences in these meds. When I say addicts im not being judgmental ...

Crushed L4 & L5 back surgery friday , haven't had nap today and want to go to bed , 1 more hour before I can take meds. ## Yes, that should be fine, the dosage spacing doesn't have to be exactly precise, unless your doctor specifies otherwise. However, it may cause you to experience more of the FDA listed side effects, such as nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than usual. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Can I take a norco 325/5mg one hour earlier then my regular time ## I am on Norco 10/325 and I take it even 2 hrs before time if you wait to long to take it for pain it will not work. What do all the pills of this Prescription look like? ## I could not possibly post a description of all of them, since it is available as a generic, there are far too many of them on the market. The name brand actually says NORCO on the tablet, with numbers underneath it. If you can post back with the imprint from the tablet you are asking about, I will gladly look it up for you. Can you post back with this information? ## Is watson 3023 a generic tablet of norco? ## Alleged norco 10/325 tablet. Description: large white oblong tab with a V or checkmark imprint on one side. I am wondering what the time frame is for heroin to be detectable in a urine test, and if it tested by a lab how long it needs to be clear rather than a urine spot test, thanks for any info. ## Anywhere from 3 to 5 days. All depending on how frequently you use and the amounts you use. As a good rule allow 5 days for absorption or better yet don't abuse it. ## I've always heard 3-5 days for opiates. However, I just saw a vid on YouTube by Narcanon saying they are fat soluble and can remain for up to 20-30 days much like cannabis can. I've been using for 25 years and this is a first for me. I suggest watching the Narcanon vid on YouTube before risking a job or your freedom. ## I have a drug test tomorrow and i took a half of pill of a 5mg Norco. How long will it stay in my sys...

I am on 3 years probation for methamphetamine. I had a drug test at 11 am on the 7th of October and I took my norco at 8 am... it showed up dirty. My probation officer said If im taking them as prescribed that they wouldnt show up.... is that true. I take them only when I need them. He is wanting to give me a technical violation because of this. What can I do? ## That is very untrue!!! It's going to show up no matter what! Trying to pull a fast one! I've been on these for three years since my extensive back surgery. As long as you have your script they can't do anything about it. It definitely has to be an updated script though and not an old one. ## I was in a program as a viloation of my probation and for the woman who had to take medicine it would show up positive. My dr prescribed 120 10 mg norcos for my back pain. Instruction say take 1 every 4 to 6 hours. Most of the time I take one every 6 hours. Sometimes I have to take 1 every 4 hours for a couple or few days. This causes me to be short before my next refill. I also take tramedol so that holds me over till I wait a few days for my norco. Today my dr got mad and discharged me from her care. Im confused. She said I was not taking them correctly. I will be out now of both meds before I can get into a new dr. ## Hello, Laurie! How are you? Did you run out a few months in a row? If so, that could be why, repeatedly running short is something that doctors often consider a sign of someone abusing such medications. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may ca...

Who prescribes the most quantity in Charlotte or Gastonia N.C.? ## Had anyone heard of a pain clinic called Laudenium Medical in or around Charlotte, NC? Maybe they have changed names? or out of business? Anyone with info. on this or any other clinic or pain physician within 40 to 50 miles North or South of Charlotte that knows what compassion, respect, & proper pain control means then please post me back. I have been on Norco 10/325 for 10 years after I had 8 back surgeries. Now I am on a333 and it is like sugar pills that wont help with my pain. ## This tablet is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. This is stronger than Norco. How many have you taken, so far? Has there been any change?

The pharmacy I go to switched my norcos. I was getting v3601 Qualitest and just got my new prescription and they gave me go37 by tris . These pills are making me drousy and giving me a stomache ache. ## Hello, Tanya! How are you? Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, the FDA does allow some variations in generic medications and, given the new side effects, I think this one may be a little stronger than the ones you were taking. The FDA also warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and constipation. Since the fluctuations are very slight, your body usually adjusts in a week, or so. If not, then you should consult your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi everyone I currently suffer from severe chronic pain. I have multiple conditions one of them being chronic renal colic. Another being degeneraong lower back I will be moving to Texas next month and need to find a pain management clinic that is compassionate, doesn't treat people like drug seekers when they truly need the help and a doctor who is not super conservative. I need a doctor will to prescribe any narcotic and prescribes what works for me. Cash only "wellness" clinics are ok for the time being. Thanks in advance ## I need a doctor who will prescribe norco for lower back pain. I have an mri and can pay cash. {edited for privacy}

Hi I am trying to get off NORCO how long to go threw withdrawel I was on 8 a day and then 5 a day for three months ## Hello, Mari! How are you? A slow taper would be best, to help eliminate most of the withdrawal symptoms, which the NIH lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, rebound pain, depression, and diarrhea. If you stop abruptly, it may take a month, or more for them all to taper off and go away. Is there anything else I can help with?

I stopped taking my norco for 4 days because i believe it is causing my severe headaches. I take my xanax daily. My dr did a urine test & said no benzos showed up at all and sent me to a hospital lab. I took one 7.5mg norco an hour before they called me to go to the hosp. I want the norco to show up, but will an hour be enough time? And why r the xanax not?
