I take 75mg MS Contin, handles steady relief. My breakthrough pain was not under any control with 15mg morphine IR. Instead of increasing that med the Dr. wanted to change it up. Leaving the morphine ER the same he added 10/325 Norco. I get a couple minute euphoria which I cannot stand. I start feeling severe sick feeling. The pain is eased. The head and stomach's strange feeling last an hour or so. Aren't the comparisons equal? If so why would one effect me so much. I do have sensitivities to medications. I just don't want to mix up my pain stability trying to find a med to relieve the breakthrough. My Fibromyalgia flares need to be shut down quick. Finally to my questions. I took norco for a week because I had surgery and I found that I didn't have any bowel movements and then I found that I was constipated so I stopped taking them. The last time I took one was at 8:30 in the morning yesterday 1-10-17 and I drank a bottle of magnesium citrate, a little bit of prune juice, I took stool softeners, and an enema and nothing worked until this morning 1-11-17. I haven't ate because I feel nausea. I have been drinking lots of water and some Gatorade now and all I have been doing is laying in bed because I feel weak and sick. When will I be back to normal? Using a small amount of marijuana, maybe 2 to 3 times in a week but stopping by 4/21 and only taking one Norco today, I have a drug test for my doctor on 5/9. Urine tests only for base line. I went to the dentist and had an abscessed tooth and was prescribed Norco pain pills and I am on parole. Is Norco a opiate and will it come up as a opiate on the drug test ## will i be denied employment if i test positive for norco?will it show as an opiate?I also have a legit script ## it doesnt matter if you were prescribed it then it doesnt matter if you fail the test, but to answer your question norco is hydrocodone which most probation/parole tests for. It depends on what panel test they use however. Hydrocodone is a widely abused substance so they will most likely be testing for it. Most PO's have 10 panel tests which test for oxycodone, opaites, methadone, hydrocodone, LSD, cocaine and I cant remember the rest of the top of my head but I am sure you can google ten panel test ...

i am on norco and pecocet and i dont always take thee amount i am supost to if i take the dose i am supost to 2 days before my apt will the levels show up right in my drug test when i go to my next apt i am so stressed about this since we do have a new dr know and i herd that thay check levels please help me figure out what i need to do so as i dont get discharged because thats what will happen. I have been on pain meds since 2005 for tendinosis, and more recently for DDD and a herniated L5 to S1. I have been taking six Norco 10's a day since 2008, and usually had no problems getting my scripts filled until recently. It seems pharmacies are getting scared of these new laws. I was using Walmart for several months until today they said they weren't taking any scripts from my doctor because of "lack of communication and because he writes to many scripts for pain meds". Yes, he writes many scripts for narcotics because he's a pain specialist! And I'm sure if he ran a clinic for diabetics he would write lots of scripts for diabetes! Looking for new pain management Dr in Indpls, In can anyone help please? Can't even get out bed most days pain is debilitating I was on Norco 7.5 4 Times Daily in the summer twice daily as well as my arthritis medication my doctor got closed down due to illegal activities about a year ago which I will have beside myself never would have thought he was that way he was so by-the-book on me which I don't have a problem with I just need a good pain management doctor please anyone!

I'm worried I will fail my drug test today and be kicked out of my pain clinic. I take 4 Norco 5/325 mg a day which I just got moved from 3 to 4 a day this past month. I've been taking them exactly every 6 hrs like I'm supposed to and I always do exact times too! Which most people don't or lie but I'm not lying and I'm not saying anything bad about those who don't take it like clockwork. Can I get a prescription for norco 7.5 for a surgery I just had a day before I get my usual prescription of hydrocodone 10mg from my pm dr., and not get in trouble? ## Hello frank. I am in GA and I go to pain management for a severe back problem. I signed a narcotic agreement that states I cannot get a pain med prescription from another dr and fill out, without getting permission from the pain dr first. I have to go to my pain management dr. march 31st and i need to now if they do blood work and drug screen on my blood will it show up in my results? I weigh 169 lbs and drink a lot of fluids and pee a lot ## Figure out norco's half life, then do the math. I received this pill from a pharmacy. This is the first time I ever took this pill, but it gave me a bad headache and upset my stomach. ## Those can be side effects of this medication, according to the FDA, you may also experience dry mouth, and constipation. It is normal for a medication to cause side effects, just the nature of adding a chemical to the body to try and remedy some problem. Has anything changed?

For pain. I've had two back surgeries and am still in pain and numbness. I have been taking my pain meds as needed. My doctor wrote another prescription.butthey both said 1 every 12 hours as needed so I took them as needed for pain. I took a norco at 10am, then by 4pm I took a tylenol and I have to take another norco at 10pm. Is that safe? Do I have anything to worry about? ## What was the dosage of the Tylenol? Hello, I have been taking Norco 10/325 for several years for my back pain. When I would miss a day or two my heart would race and I could not sleep this last month I had lost my prescription while on vacation and had been without them for a week and felt no anxiety at all just my pain, now that I think about it I have realized that my pain level had really not been reduced for several months the pill says 10/325 t I'm wondering whats up with these pills??? ## Hello, Eric! I have Ankylosing Spondylitus, fibromyalgia, degenerative disk desease with two herniated disk and 3 bulging. Facet joint damage etc.. Im a mess. I have been on Norco (1-2 pills a day as needed) for about 8 years. I need a new doctor who will prescribe this without thinking I am a drug addict!! I have never asked for more and it is pretty much the only way I can function as a mom and normal human being without being housebound.
