My doctor has me taking norco 10 325 every 4 hours for pain. I have tramadol as well. The tramadol feels like it does absolutely nothing. Because the tramadol doesn't give me a high feeling I thought it might be better to take. Will tramadol work as well as norco and if so, at what dose? I just want to get rid of the pain!! ## It really depends on you, how much does the high feeling affect you? Because it will eventually wear off, as your body gets used to the medication. My first time taking it, it made me nauseous and tired with diarrhea. I went to my dr to find out that I had a hole in my stomach and bleeding. Could this have been caused by 10/325 Norco? ## How long were you taking it? That is not an issue that would normally occur with just short term use. Generally, it takes awhile for an ulcer to develop, according to NIH reports. Do you drink a lot of alcohol? Are you taking any other medications regularly? I am seeing a new doctor, she prescribed me 7.5mg norco... I have a bad sinus infection and my Dr gave me augmentin for it... The norco isn't helping. I have blockages in my legs and my back is in very bad shape. So anyway my husband gave me 1 of his percocet and it really helped me, but tomorrow I go back and she does a drug test every time i go. Hi, I have been taking Norco 10/325 1 every 4-6 hours for pain and Tramadol 50 mg as needed for breakthrough pain for over 4 years for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis and constant pain. However, I am starting to notice that I'm having much more frequent issues with breakthrough pain and it feels the Norco is loosing it's effectiveness overall. The pain has became so unbearable at times it really is affecting my quality of life tremendously. Please advise if there is another medication I can discuss with my doctor. Am on chronic pain management. Have been for past 4 years. had appt yesterday for refill. pharmacy closed bf I could get there. ran out of meds yesterday morning. went into withdrawal. I took 6 norco over the span of few hours. need to know how long ur will stay in system and if it will show up on drug test. I had a random urine test at PM drs. I hadn't taken it for three days but took half of a 10-325 4 hrs before my test. Will it show that I had none in my system or show as not enough? I also had marijuana the night before and drank a lot of water. Will I be asked for a pill count? Or to redo the test? I was changed to oxycodone without the acetaminophen at the visit. ## My doc prescribed 10mg narco 3x a day. I actually need 4x a day to effectively manage my pain. I'm going to run out a week before my appt. How will my urine test show up? Will it appear as though I have not taken any even though I have taken them 3x for the three weeks? Thank you

I have been on Norco 10/325 and Xanax 2mg for many years. U/A came back positive for Methamphetamine and THC and Dr will not refill my meds. I have severe withdrawals and need to get my meds. 20 years on Xanax 2mg and need help finding a new Doctor or fight the U/A results. ## The xanax is your biggest problem. You must have a local methadone clinic nearby. They will help you.

I have been on yellow norco for over 4 ys. they are effective for my chonic pain. I have to use a special phamacy. Wallgreens, Walmart, Cvs refuse to fill my presciption. I only get the white Norco.now! this white pill does very littly relief my pain . Now this pharmancy says the on back order What! I don't believe this. I really thik the DEA has sent a message that all the Pharmacistst to all Wallgreen, walmart.CVS.ect, that drug is really addictive and they must stop giving patients the yellow Norco. I just received my new norco prescription 120 pills and it has been 28 days not 30. Cvs always makes me wait the 30 days. Does anyone know of a pharmacy that will fill a few days early and takes insurance in the Pearland, League City, Pasadena, or Houston area? ## whoa, there are aloT OF PPL that cannot find a dr to prescribe this medication. Trying to fill at any pharmacy before 30 days will cause you to get red flagged. My mother was taking this medication after surgery yesterday and has not slept at all. If I take 15 ml of red liquid hydrocodone 7.5 mg / acetaminophen 325 mg, does that equal 1 pill, or what does that amount (15ml) equal in pill form? ## It depends on the dosage of the pill. There is one available in the 7.5mg and 325mg dosage. Hi, I started the Tylenol 3 because I feel jittery on Norco 5/325. I've found it is mild, but better to take for pain while I'm at work. Is it okay to take one tab twice a day of Tylenol 3, then in early evening take one 5/325 Norco? The Norco works better for the pain, but don't want to take that at work. ## Yes. If you dye your hair on a monthly basis, will it affect the outcome of a hair drug test? Currently on a monthly script for Norco 10/325. ## A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut at the scalp line will go back 90 days. Hair dye won't effect the outcome of a hair drug test. When the lab gets the sample they run it thru a chemical wash that was off all external contaminants. New to pain management and they do a UA every month. I am prescribed norco 7.5 x 6 times a day. My question is, if I take more than prescribed and then take as I should a week before the UA, will I be okay? I believe it is a regular UA as it costs $18.
