I am going to a pain management appointment in 2 days. I need to use synthetic urine, but I also need it to show that I am taking my Norco/10 mg hydrocodone. Can I add some powder from a crushed pill to the fake urine? Will that make the synthetic urine positive for Norco? I am hoping so. Please reply asap anyone! Thanks so much! ## I have friend wondering the same thing? Did it work? ## It worked! The stuff I used was called "Quick Fix Synthetic Urine PLUS".. I got it at a local smoke shop for $19.99 + tax. Someone I talked to at the company said just use a small amount of crushed Norco/Vicodin and make sure you shake it well before putting it in the sample test cup. I give my sample unsupervised, but you can use the squeeze top (closed, of course) heat the bottle in the micro ...

Many other people are telling me that ip 110 which is another generic form of hydrocodone 10/325, does not work for them nearly as well as watson 853, which is a better generic of the same thing - hydrocodone 10/325. Obviously, pharmacies are buying ip 110 cause they are cheaper. What else is known out there, and in other people's experience, is it the same? I would like to know? ## Hello, Dr. Moki! How are you? I've actually taken both of them, at different times when it was prescribed and found them both to work well for me. Just like any other medication, it can vary from person to person. The additional thing you have to remember is that most people don't post or talk about a medication, unless they've had a problem with it, there is a much larger number of people th...

According to the FDA's website there is no shortage, so what's going on? Has anyone been able to locate any? accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/drugshortages/default.cfm ## Well I still can't find any in my area. This is ridiculous. It's been a long time and they should have them in stock now. My pharmacy doesn't have a straight answer for what's going on and when they will be available. If anyone finds any in Michigan-suburbs of detroit area Plz say if u have found any ## It takes a while for drug shortages to show on the website. If the Manufactures are still changing the labels from when it was reclassified, there isn't a shortage. It also takes more than one area to report a shortage before it is listed and it depends on who is doing the reporting. Also just beca...

Anyone have these new Norco by EYWA marked "WES 303"? ## Blue capsule shaped pill with imprint WES 303 contains Acetaminophen 325 mg / Hydrocodone bitartrate 10 mg from Eywa Pharma Inc. (NDC 71930-021) Inactive Ingredients: - Croscarmellose Sodium - Silicon Dioxide - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - FD&C Yellow No. 6 Source: DailyMed ## Nope... I miss norco. I only get Alprazolam, Adderall, and Subutex now. ## yes. Thank u . I know what it is and about it . However, to make it clearer... does anyone take it and if so how does it work for u compared to the other brands? ## Never heard of or seen those before. ## I get adderall Xanax and subutex too and would take subutex over any pain killer any day cuz subs have a ceiling level where it’s a waste if y...

Why have they changed the yellow narco to white. The white don't work ,and it takes more than one to get any relief, I have a six inch rod and screws in my neck that's needs to be redone but willing to chance it. There are some people who really need what has been working. ## Are the markings on the tablets the same? If not, then the white one was most likely manufactured by a different company, and this isn't a color change. Norco contains Acetaminophen, and Hydrocodone, and is available as a generic, so it is manufactured by several different pharmaceutical companies. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constiaption, and dry mouth. Ref: Norco Information

I use to love marijuana but one day it quit working for me. It got to when I smoked it I would have panic attacks. So my marijuana days were over. My wife suffers from diabetes and cirrhosis of the liver, and hep c. She also is going to have surgery because she has stenosis; her spinal canal is blocked. What i need to ask you is: We live in Texas and i would like to get her medical marijuana because the doctor gives her Norco's and at night she is in tears because she hurts so bad. What i dont get is here she has cirrhosis of the liver and her dr. gives her an opiate that has acetaminophen in it. I thought everybody knew that acetaminophen was bad for your liver? But she is afraid to say anything about it because she's afraid of being cut off. What i need to know is how do I go ...

This sounds like a bunch of phooy to me. I have had pain management for several years now and this is the first time that I have Ever had any trouble getting my generic Norco 10/325s, or any other type of hydrocodone medication. It seems as though that from the moment that the DEA put their noses into pain management medications everything has been turned upside down. Now the paper pushers that made all these choices for those of us with chronic pain are not the ones that will have to suffer from any number of things from unnecessary increased pain to the added pain and suffering of withdrawal for those that are long term pain medication users. I am sure that I speak for many out there when I say that IF I could come out on the other side of the painful withdrawal symptoms as a pain fre...

I have very severe arthritis on my knees and lower back. A friend of mine gave me some Rumoqui NF how many can I take a day? ## Hi Yolanda, The dosing and administration info for Rumoquin NF states the following: "The dose is variable and can be individualized based on the specific disease, its severity and patient response. It is recommended that once a favorable response is observed is determined by the appropriate maintenance dose, gradually decreasing the initial dosage in small decrements at appropriate intervals until it is determined the lowest dose able to maintain an adequate clinical response. In severe cases of rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatic disorders it is recommended that an initial daily dose of one capsule taken every 8 hours for a period of 7 days. Afterwar...

Can anybody recommend a pain management practice near Aurora IL to treat back injuries? The challenge is that many non narcotic medications have not been working well for me and I do not feel good from drugs like Lyrica. I would ideally like a clinic where they would be willing to review my medical history in full and prescribe an appropriate treatment. ## One difficulty you may be creating for yourself is by trying to insist on a certain narcotic medication. Many doctors see this as drug seeking behavior. It is actually much better to let your medical records speak for you, whenever you see a new doctor, that way they can see what has been documented by other doctors and they are more likely to take that under consideration. Therefore, you should always make sure to take a copy of your...

I have experienced many generic brands, including Watson and Qualitest. My pharmacy just changed to the Amneal brand 10-325 hydrocodone/APAP. I am just not sure what to think about this. The pills have an IP on them. What have been the experiences of others taking this specific generic brand? ## Because these drugs can affect each individual differently, my opinion is that trial and error through one's own personal experience is the only way to accurately judge the efficacy of a specific tablet. On the other hand, I do get the sense that some brands/generics are manufactured with less quality inactive ingredients than others, potentially making them more prone to cause side effects or placebo-like responses from varying degrees of bioavailability. I haven't taken the Amneal bran...

CVS filled my script with these. I usually get the yellow Norco. When I asked about it they said the yellow ones were no longer being manufactured. Is this true? The white ones they gave me look similar to other meds i am prescribed and I do not want to accidentally take more than prescribed. Thank you. ## According to the pill ID, it’s the same thing. I would fight for the yellow ones though because they are the strongest, most effective on the market. They are just bulls***ting you about them not being manufactured anymore. Yellows are still around but getting rarer. ## Lupin is no good lupin lost 60 percent net profit,CBS must be bail them out ## From what I've been hearing, post #1 may be right about the yellow version getting harder to come by. However, if you keep search...

It's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them? ## Recently went to refill my norco script and they gave me M367 10/325 instead of the yellow 10/325. One of the yellow pills would last 4 hours. With the m367 I have to take 3 at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Let me know if any of you have encountered the same with M367 10/325. Thank you ## I'm sure there are others that have had similar problems, there can be some slight fluctuations from one generic medication to another, so not all of them work well for everyone that tries them. For example, I can take this same tablet and it really hits me very hard, after tak...

Hello all, I am a longtime chronic pain sufferer. I have taken opiates for pain for over 10 years. I recently got a prescription filled (from a well known pharmacy chain in the U.S.) and I was given these new Watson 853 white (not yellow) hydro 10/325 pills. I wanted to ask the forum here if any of you have had the same experience with them as I have. I know there are some very smart people with advanced chemistry knowledge here that may have delved deeper into whats going on with these things. They are ineffective for me. I've taken hydrocodone 10/325 for 10+ years and have never ever had a problem with pills being ineffective but that is the case with these pills. I've had about every brand you can think of and never an issue. Ever. I thought nothing of the color change when I...

Does anyone know of caring physicians in the Sacramento, CALIFORNIA area willing to prescribe pain meds for chronic pain? I have suffered from severe chronic pain due to 2 herniated disks and sciatica for 17 years. Current physician retired and no doctor I've seen to date is willing to fill my existing Oxycontin and per cover scripts. Any help in finding a doctor is appreciated. ## Have you found anyone? I'm in the same boat, having just arrived! The physician's office that I made an appointment with *3weeks ago* said no. I am 72 years old and am in fine shape taking only 90mg a day, but the doctor is gun shy. ## Who did y'all see? I could suggest Dr. vuong he helped my husband but don't ask for an early fill ever or you will get the boot so now I'm trying to fin...

I've been on Norco 7.5/325 since they stopped making Vicodin. I had the yellow, loved them, then my pharmacy only had the white ones from Qualitest. My last refill was with mallinckro, hate them! I itch and stay in pain 24/7. My pharmacist said they will no longer be able to get the qualitest, now I'm stuck as to where to go. I hate calling pharmacies for certain brands since they think I'm a druggie..when I clearly take no more and often less than required. ## I am very sorry about the problems you're experiencing. Unfortunately, there is no database that lists which medication any given pharmacy carries, at any given time, because such information is dynamic and can always change, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed ...

I had shoulder surgery and have carpal tunnel in both hands. I'm always in severe pain. I'm a 45 year old female. Will Norco 7.5/325 help alleviate my pain? ## Yes, there is a chance that it might. It is an opiate narcotic. It worked well for my ex-husband, before his carpal tunnel surgery. The FDA does warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Have you tried taking it, yet? ## I don't trust FDA, when the oxytocin, was the main one that younger folks got addicted to. And now us up in age suffer for it. You need 10/325, for surgery, furthermore percocet is used more in surgeries, 10/325, would be the only ones that would work for surgery, or morphine. No wonder...

Doc gave me norco 5/325 pills for a toothache. What makes the norco pill more effective? ## That's why there's Acetaminophen in it, it can potentiate the effectiveness of the opiate. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you tried taking it, yet? ## I have a very bad case of fibroids and will be getting a hysterectomy in a month. But until then my OB/GYN has prescribed Norco 5/325. If one Norco 5/325 isn't working, can 2 be as effective as 1 Norco 10/325? ## Nothing. They don't work, unless you've not been on pain meds for years. I HAD Lyme disease, I HAVE high RA ,along with fibromyalgia, scoliosis, ## ...

white oblong pill with TCL 341 on it ## Yes this is a painkiller, its very potent so be careful taking it, if you have multiple do not take more than one. I take it and it works very well for me but sometimes I feel its to strong. Its Acetaminophen 500mg. ## Hello, Mickey! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Time-Cap Labs and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen. It is available over the counter and is a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. Thus, it is not any type of narcotic or controlled substance. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache.
