i took this drug for three months and have severe pain in hands, ligaments of something, my fingers lock in place and have to be manually released. i wake up because of the pain. it is not in all fingers but the ones affected are extremely painful. pain meds for cancer /radical hystercomy and lymph node removal don't help. is there a class action suit? my cancer center told me to see a dr. about this problem, but i cant afford one ## I am very sorry that you are suffering. I started taking this for a bladder infection. I know the common side effects is the change in stool and urine color. bit private thats why Im posting anonmusly on this post. I am on day 3 of nitrofurantion 100mgx4tpd for kidney infection. I have now taken a nasty throat/gland infection and have been prescribed penicillin 500mgx4tpd. I have difficulty swallowing large pills or capsules. I removed the three small pills from the capsule, crushed them, and swallowed them with jelly.
