Negative Urinalysis Of Zolpidem

I have taken 5mg zolpidem almost every night for approximately 6 months. At my last visit I was given a urine test which turned up negative for the drug. I was then given a blood test which also turned up negative. The doctor will no longer prescribe the drug, which was helping me get about 5 hours sleep per night.

What's the point here? Is there a question? I have no idea what to make of this comment. Why is your doctor giving you Zolpidem blood tests? (LOL) What does that have to do with future zolpidem refills? Kind of a bizarre post.
