Need A Doctor In Arkansas Missouri For Chronic Pain

I originally wrote on 3/16/14 looking for a pain doctor in north central Arkansas or southern Missouri...I live in Mountain Home, AR & am willing to drive to Springfield MO or as far south as Little Rock AR, as far west as Fayetteville or as far east as Jonesboro. I moved from California to Arkansas to be with my sister a year ago & am still unable to find a doctor here who will prescribe the meds I was taking in CA, which were 60 mg MSContin twice daily, 350 mg Soma three times daily, and 1-2 10 mg oxycodone every 4 hrs, plus a 3rd one 45 minutes later if I really needed it. It is like the twilight zone here in AR; every doctor thinks you're a drug addict even though I have all my surgery records, films, discharge instructions (I'd been in a nursing home for 2 yrs before I came to AR) & my original medication containers. I am in constant excruciating neck & low back pain. I've had 2 lumbar surgeries & a C-spine surgery, none of which has worked. I've been in a wheelchair for 9 yrs. except for 4 months after my last lumbar surgery when excellent physical therapy & meds controlled my pain & allowed me to finally walk. Then I moved to AR, my meds ran out & I cannot find a legitimate, compassionate pain doc to take over. I've seen one in Mountain Home & one in Batesville & they both refuse to prescribe the meds that work for me. They've both been rude, abusive & actually scream & yell at me. I really can't take it anymore...between the stress & the agonizing pain, I often contemplate suicide. I am not living anyway, just existing & hanging on by a very thin thread. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

Go to Branson, Mo .....There's a walk in Clinic that may help you. The same Dr Leonard Bridges is in Forsythe Missouri called ...Bridges Medical Center I think :) He's a compassionate and wonderful Dr....I went through the same thing when I lived in Ar but not for back pain...It was pain before I had my hysterectomy. My sister is in Ar just moved there from Cali needing the same help as you....Roland , Ok has a pain clinic also .

Did you find any relief?? I pray so Bc this post is older but I just wanted to check ... Elite pain management in Springfield is a good place with kind, educated Drs.
