Although I'm not 100% certain, I'm sure there are many doctors in that area who accepts Medicaid. You simply have to call and ask. That information, unfortunately won't be listed. At least I've never found it to be and I've done a ton of research & searching for that kind of information publically. Good Luck to you!

I understand that. I've been going to Dr. Ulrich's clinic for several months now & have never once seen her as I see a Nurse practioner & he is great, very understanding & very eager to do make sure your medication is beneficial to you & really communicates & listens very well.

Yes there are drs who a cept Medicaid for the visit. One in Oak Grove la. Dint remember her name and a few in Nola. Iwidh i had the numbers fir you! Good luck wish you all thebest

Dr Herbert does not take Medicaid. Been with him for 2yrs now 150 each month
This isn’t true! If anyone is in Lake Charles or near there. Call Archer institute. There’s Dr. Cantu and another Dr. they absolutely take Medicaid. Medicaid for your visit and prescription!

There has recently also been an expansion in Suboxone Clinics in Southwest Louisiana who do accept Medicaid and are currently accepting new patients, as well.

Hi Kimberly i would greatly appreciate it if you would share that information with me please, i cant continue as a single mother of 2 children to pay 200$ a month for just a Dr visit.

This isn’t true anymore. My doctor in Ruston, Louisiana accepts Medicaid payment for the visit. His name is Dr. Allen Herbert. There are many many more now that are starting to accept Medicaid as payment. You just have to search for them.
