Need To Find A Pharmacy That Fills Subutex Asap!!! (Page 2) (Top voted first)

I have been on subutex for 9 months now. But i have a very big problem next month k mart pharmacy will no longer carry subutex. I live in the tri cities in tn. I have called about 35 pharmacies around they either do not take new people getting subutex or do not carry it at all. I have no insurance i found 1 that cost 340 which is way more than the 215 i paid at k mart. Also some pharmacies I know only carry the small ones which to me do not work as good as the bigger ones. Huge difference. I go back on the 8th next month, so if there is anyone that knows of a good pharmacy in my area your help would be greatly appreciated.

I will definitely post a follow up when I receive my medication from them and let everyone know how it went. I should receive it sometime around the 31st so I will be able to review the entire process from start to finish with mail order from CareZone. So far it does seem to be am excellent service and they treat you like a valued customer and try to make things as easy as possible for you. ° They DO accept insurance and you MUST have a valid state or government issued photo ID to upload to them.
° If they accept your insurance, your copay will be the same as it is at a regular pharmacy.
° They DO accept certain RX discount cards.
° You CAN select the day each month you would like to be billed for your medication or copays.
° For your initial order, you will be required to have AT LEAST a 12 DAY supply of all medications you wish to receive from CareZone mail order and you can transfer all of your medication to them.
° Your medication will arrive in presorted individual pill packets for each dose. If you are on more than one medication, they will presort each dose for you.
° CareZone will merge ALL of your medication refill dates so ALL medication you take will come due for refill on the same date each month. In order to do this, you may not receive a full month supply of each medication but no worries because your next refill will arrive on or before it's due date.
° You can receive as little as a one month and as much as a three month supply of all your medication including Buprenorphine as long as your doctor agrees.
° Your medication will arrive on time for your next refill, either the exact day it is due or a day or two before it is actually due so there isn't any missed doses or days without medication in between.
° There is NO shipping fee for your medication! It's always free.
° CareZone will take care of calling your pharmacy and doctor to get your refills for you when you run out. They do all the work and ship your package discreetly to your doorstep.

After I actually receive my first shipment from CareZone Pharmacy, I will post a review start to finish about their services. This is one way you can receive your medication without the hassle of trying to find a pharmacy to fill your prescription, you will only need to get a one time 12 day supply filled at a brick and mortar store and thereafter, you will receive it via mail order. Also, I was extended an offer from CareZone when I placed my order on some really good vitamins. If you take vitamins, you can get a month supply completely free from CareZone and then every month after you will be billed for them. I did receive my vitamins and they are great. There's 5 different vitamins in the pack and each dose is packed in small easy open plastic packets. You just open it and all five vitamins are inside. kdmrXohio, I am just wondering if you have made the decision to start up a petition? I think it would be a wonderful idea and it definitely couldn't hurt anything that's for sure. Things are already bad so I don't see how they could get worse.

Monday, I am going to make a trip to a couple local small pharmacies in my area that I have personally dealt with and left only because they didn't carry Buprenorphine and that's all I currently take and see if I am able to talk them into ordering the Buprenorphine. I am going to attempt to explain the situation with so many people not able to get their medication filled, how far mosteoporosis people have to travel to the pharmacy to get their medication and how much potential there is to make more money. If I am successful and any of them do decide to order Buprenorphine, I will share the pharmacy information with everyone here. If I can get even one of the few pharmacies I have in mind to order it and accept out of state prescriptions, it will be another pharmacy option available for everyone!

I was finally able to find a pharmacy in MD that had NO problem filling the prescription and billing my insurance. The pharmacy staff was absolutely appalled that a pharmacy that accepts my insurance for every other medication in the pharmacy bluntly refused to bill my insurance.

I now know of three pharmacies that will fill out of state scripts, one fills at the pharmacists discretion and must be verified by contacting your treatment center (MD), one fills but only for certain clinics and must pay cash only and is $240.00 for 32 tablets (WV) and the last accepts insurance or you can pay cash and cash price is $99.00 for 32 tablets (MD). I will happily share this information with others. All I ask is that you also post your pharmacy name if they fill out of state scripts in return.

We will no longer be able to get Subutex in OH, WV, or PA. There have been crackdowns through the DEA so the pharmacies can no longer fill those prescriptions, only Suboxone. If you think I'm full of it, just call your pharmacy and ask. Everyone I know who is on this medication is experiencing this right now. I am from Ohio, my pharmacy was in PA. They will make exceptions if you have a letter from a board certified allergist (meaning you can't just claim to be "allergic", you have to actually get the tests done to prove it), or if you're pregnant/nursing, if you have been diagnosed HIV positive, and (at SOME places) if you have a letter stating you've been diagnosed with Hepatitis C.

Go to Thompsons pharmacy in Buckhannon. $7 apiece. It sucks driving past home and you can only get 2 a day filled, but it's somewhere. They carry Roxane (54/411)for $7, Mylan (m 926) $6.75 and another one which I think are small ones for 6.75. Better than nothing for now!

WOULD ANYONE BE INTERESTED IN STARTING A PETITION TO PROVE THAT THESE BIG CHAIN PHARMACIES (CVS, WALMART, RITE AID, WALGREENS ETC) TREAT US UNFAIRLY BECAUSE OF THE PRESCRIPTION WE GET, REFUSE TO ORDER OUR PREFERRED MEDICATION WHEN THEY VERY WELL COULD EASILY DO SO, AND REFUSE TO FILL OUR PRESCRIPTIONS FOR REASONS LIKE THEY'RE NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS (BUT ONLY FOR THAT MEDICATION), OR BECAUSE OF WHERE WE LIVE OR WHERE OUR DOCTOR'S OFFICE IS, OR ONLY IF WE PAY WITH CASH -- IT'S NOT RIGHT! That is a good idea, you're right they would benefit from the extra business immensely, so why not? Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to it.

In regards to your question, I am certainly considering the petition. I don't want to jump the gun and say it's already set in stone so to speak, because I have to admit, this would be my first time part-taking in something like this. So I do need to do a little more research to make sure I know how to do this the legitimate way.. and would need some extra hands on deck! I was thinking recently about how interesting it would be to actually go into virtually every pharmacy you pass, asking them if they would fill your prescription of buprenorphine, and keeping record of each pharmacy name & location, the pharmacist's name, and which excuse they gave (i.e. no new patients, no out of state residents, no out of TOWN residents, no out of state prescriber, no insurance accepted, no non-pregnant patient, no Rx filled for that doctor specifically, refusal to order, etc) this way when it reaches for example their corporate offices, or someone who can actually make a difference and get this fixed, they can see just how much we actually go through JUST to get our medicine, and I would bet anything they would be utterly SHOCKED to see the responses their employees are coming up with just to refuse us.

Your doctor may be able to help. Indeed, I would push for him or her to reach out to your pharmacy. You too, should ask the Pharmacist or Pharmacy manager if they are able or unable to retain a supply of the drug. In addition, ask the Pharmacy which Buprenorphine generics they routinely carry. If there are good reasons for carrying one but not others, it may be worth it to switch to a different form of the drug. With respect to the amount of money you are paying, I would go to the distributor/maker, Reckitt Benckiser. Often companies will offer discounts. And as far as I know, Pharmacies cannot refuse the discount. You should also speak with other Pharmacies. Maybe one of them may already carry the drug. If none of the above resolves the matter, you can try going through a Drug addiction treatment program. It means having to jump through hoops because their protocols are different than most. I spent a week talking with every program in my county. Most offer the Buprenorphine medications as a method of kicking an addiction. While they will fully know that you are not an addict, you will be diagnosed as an addict. They will make you go through some kind of counseling as well. The benefit of the latter, no out of pocket payments. I wish you all the best and good luck.

Hi there. Sorry to hear about your problem. Have you looked into getting it filled through mail order pharmacy? I’m sure if you google it you’ll find one no problem whatsoever and it won’t matter what state you happen to live in. Just a thought that might help solve your problems.. good luck!

I know that going to different pharmacies IN PERSON is a real hassle but I know a Pharmacist that has run a Pharmacy in a large chain of drug stores and he has told me that he was informed by his Corporate ownership to ALWAYS say they cannot fill any Schedule 2 medication over the phone. WHY? Because of the high number of Pharmacy robberies. I understand they believe that robberies happen when people are working together in numbers of two or more. One person calls and asks if the Pharmacy can fill a prescription and do they have sufficient inventory on hand to fill the prescription. Then another person comes in and robs the Pharmacy. Normally, he stated, that the person calling in is a woman and the robber is a man. This is done to confuse the Pharmacy. I KNOW going to a Pharmacy in person is, for many, a big pain the ass but it is the world we live in today.

I have been on subutex for some time now and I just started seeing a new doctor I can't find any pharmacies in my area that will fill subutex and I am desperate to be able to fill my medication I can't afford suboxone in any way shape or form they are almost $130 for just 14 pills subutex is much cheaper please anyone could you direct me to a pharmacy that will fill the subutex I live in rogersville,tn so anywhere in the tried cities area would be wonderful cause my doctor is in Johnson city anyways please anybody I'm begging for your help.

Thank u sooo much, it's a god send lol. I recently found out from a friend that if u go to a pharmacy n ur a female n they ask if ur pregnant u just say yes and they'll fill them, but the only luck I had was at walgreens but they fill with the orange footballs which I wasn't familiar with at first n thought they have me suboxone lol but it wasn't, lucky me. But I didn't notice much difference if any at all from the big white ones, so that's a plus but thank u!! I'm Def going to try out that pharmacy n see for myself just so I have a backup if my pharmacy stops filling mine one point in time. Thank u thank u thank u!!!
