Need Suboxone To Get Off Methadone

I need help getting this medication. Where i can get off Methdone? I'm in despression, please help if you can.

I'd like to know more about this medication, I've been on more than enough pain meds in my time, I'm tired of them & I'd like to get off of them I'd like to find away to get off of pain meds & get my life back & I'd like to find to find a resalution or help in finding out how to. Thank you.

I also was addicted to pain meds. and I've now been on the Suboxone Strips for about 3 months, what you may no know is that Suboxone is an opiate inhibitor, with means, while you are on the Suboxone, you will not want a pain pill. After you have been on it for a while, you can make the decision that you want to try to get off of the Suboxone, most people are on about 1 year before trying to cut back. Also, if your doctor tells you that it's not been long enough, I knew a friend of my son who was on around 20 pain killers a day and he weined his his self off in about 8 months. What you do is cut it down but about 1/4 for about for about a week and when you gets your body use to that and it seems that that cutting down, then you can cut down a little bit again. I am currantly on 1 and a half and I feel great. Hope this helps you! God Bless You

Just go to turntohelp.com and there you can get a list of suboxone Drs. in your area. Also it has places to go that accept Medicare for rehab and once you are leaving the rehab most of the time the Dr that releases you will give you a Sub script with refils so you can manage you recovery on your on. Its not hard when you have the Sub and support from other people as well. I know if I can quit the pain killers using Suboxone on my own, then You can do it too...Good Luck...but you wont need it...You can do it, just dont even think about it, Execute it...

Find a new sub doctor. They will taper you off and you'll probably feel a whole lot better. You can taper off sub.

If your dose is low like 2mg or less, just quit. The worst will pass in 5 days max if you can make it. If your on more, don't do it on your own. Not sure of the risks.
